  1. Awww the Bills waited till my birthday to release renderings of the new stadium! How thoughtful!
  2. they need to borrow your red Swingline stapler to put the presentations together
  3. I still hate playing a 2x NFL MVP after a 3 week losing streak. Everyone taking Bills +10 or so. Don't like it at all Rough week ahead, expect a dog fight. 26-24 ish
  4. good move by Philly. They are going all in as they should.
  5. And yet we had posters mocking the Bills 'too conservative' approach to injuries in a thread earlier this season....
  6. Credit due to Mcdermott, Frazier and the players filling in.
  7. Hey folks, please read the article: from nfl.com https://www.nfl.com/news/former-nfl-player-sam-gash-focusing-on-positives-after-going-through-multiple-ba "In August of that year, Allison Maki, the Lions' chief financial and administrative officer -- and a friend of Gash's from his time as an assistant coach in Detroit -- introduced Gash to a new program designed for eligible former NFL players in Gash's shoes: the NFL's Dedicated Hospital Network Program. Initiated that year as part of the most recent collective bargaining agreement between the NFL and NFL Players Association, the NFL DHN provides eligible former players under the age of 65 with access to preventive care, primary medical care and mental health services, with certain services fully covered. This first-of-its-kind program, administered by Cigna, features high-quality medical care providers in every NFL city..... Gash -- who said he was, at last check, "cancer-free" -- is also thankful for the NFL DHN program. The cost of his subsequent cancer treatments, which could have far surpassed that first bill of $60,000, has tallied roughly $7,000, with the NFL DHN benefits providing significant financial support." Joe D and others representing retired players had a significant win in the last CBA.
  8. I agree OL play is really poor. College seems to be creating more top quality DL and Edge players than OL too. The imbalance in rules to help scoring is ironically not helping the OL either. Most OL would rather run block and impose their will on the defense. Rules changes favor passing but this puts OL back on their heels. IMO. We are also seeing some limitations in analytics which is costing some good teams games.
  9. Fair point. Just wanted to let you know, that no decision has to be made on Jones immediately. At worst we have him under contract for this year and next. 2024 is a void year (pay a player not on the roster), not sure how that complicates and extension or re-sign
  10. and after the Bills and 49ers games
  11. It was for a lot of us. After watching 20 years of frustration being unleashed and dealt out in the playoffs in front of the NFL world it was. All I could think of after the game was Ralphie beating the heck out of Farkus (his bully) in Christmas Story. I have a lot of non-Bills fans who contacted me after that game and they almost enjoyed seeing the Pats get destroyed as much as we did.
  12. Red Helmet, Blue tops, white pants... let's see it!
  13. FYI Jones is under contract in 2023 (void year in 2024). He is 31 now.
  14. Well we did see stadium renderings in this thread. For Tennessee..... The OP had me in the first half.
  15. Nailed it. Hagy was a S who could hit like a ton of bricks. The 6 or so times he was in the correct position he did! 🤣
  16. I knew this was coming A true X-files mystery!
  17. it was the end of them being terrible. Don 'the magic man' Majowski started to lead them out of the woods of terrible QB play. This pack team went 10-6 the next year with him as QB. Problem with Don was an inability to stay healthy. , Then Favre and Rodgers Fun Bills tie in, Hank Bullough was the Packers Defensive Coordinator for this era in Packers history.
  18. Proud of the Bears to keep him tied with Halas. Billy B will surpass Halas at some point, but not at the Bears expense
  19. Patriot Planet is a joy right now. Reality is setting in "Maybe wins over Steelers, Lions and Browns don’t make pats elite? I shudder to think what Josh Allen will do to us"
  20. I lived in the Boston metro for a few years and saw guys get into fights because it was Friday and they were bored waiting in line for things. Every weekend. Scrappy bunch over there
  21. the mob is getting restless, but no chants yet
  22. oh please bring Mac Jones back in for the 4th! 🤣
