Who has been the biggest disappointment?

While the Bills have been focused on building to beat the Chiefs, teams in the AFC East have been building to beat Buffalo. -
Who has been the biggest disappointment?
RocCityRoller replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
My access to All22 is also limited. I look at it like a business. I am the executive of a publicly traded firm. I have 3 or so teams working under me. My org is running like a top. One of my assistants takes a promotion out of the organization. Good for him/her. I promote a new assistant within. There is light turnover in the ranks (Beasley/ Sanders) but we bring in new folks with a good resume (Crowder) and hire some new talent with skills I think will help the team (Cook/ Shakir). Most of the unit is still together. All of a sudden my shift leader (Allen) is making some questionable decisions, a handful of my young up and comers are failing to meet expectations, much less past performance (Davis/ Knox/ McKenzie). None of the new talent is adding value to the team (Crowder/ Cook/ Shakir). We are still a leading org, but our competition is eating way our margins (0-2 in the division). Do all of my past and new employees stink? Did they all forget how to do their jobs? Can I no longer evaluate new talent to bring in? Or is it the assistant manager? It takes some time and adjustment for that new manager to get everyone on board and get back up to speed. A good executive and assistant would sit down and go over a few things. Are there other factors at play? Are people missing time? (Crowder/Brown) Are analysts projections within reason? (fan and media expectations) Has my competition changed? (Yes Miami and NY have improved). Do I need to diversify? (Too focused on the pass). How do we offset that? How do we counter as an organization? The only new wrinkle I have seen from Dorsey is the deployment of 6 OL on a semi-regular basis. I believe Hart was brought in as an extra lineman on 11 offensive snaps versus Green Bay! Was the run game a success? No. If the run game is off how else are the Bills manufacturing a semblance of a run? How about a screen pass out of the 6 OL set? How about a jet sweep to the strong side of an imbalanced 6 man OL? Where are the 4-5 wide sets? Where is the motion? Where are the jet sweeps/ draws/ bubble screens and screen passes? The Bills have scored 26 TDs (Sales/ contracts). Am I going to blame the guy who manufactured 23 of those? That is ridiculous. Cook 1, McKenzie 1, Milano 1 for those keeping score at home. What do I have to do to help that guy or take some of the stress off of him? How do I get my new assistant manager help my top performer from cracking under the stress? Other people have to contribute. How do we do that? -

I said almost the same exact thing, but focused on offense. The offense has become one dimensional. Easy to stop. Stupid to run a Nickel base when behind or in a 1 score game, especially with 3/5 of your starting DBs out. Poyer has taken 2-3 years of punishment playing S/LB, and so has Hyde and Taron Johnson. 2 of the 3 are 30+ and now missing time. Can't imagine why. -

Ken Dorsey - Daboll did much better than Dorsey scheming guys open. Loads of posts about Knox, Davis, McKenzie etc disappearing in games, Josh Allen is regressing etc. Did Knox just forget how to run routes and get open? Why are so many of Davis targets so contested? Why is McKenzie an afterthought? Why does such a higher percent of passes look like they are into tighter and tighter windows? Daboll is genius level at designing plays that puts a defense off balance and get guys open, even if a defense knows an offense will be pass first. All of the players above have had forgettable plays and have been sloppy at times. Absolutely true. But I'm just not seeing the dynamic routes and play design. Where is the motion? Motion helps a QB understand the defense being played by how they react. I want to give my QB all the help I can whether it is Heineke or Mahomes. When the run game stalled and defenses were teeing off on the pass, Dabs would call a Jet Sweep, end around or bubble screen, or he would go 4-5 wide and use a quick hit to slow a pass rush down, or generate a semblance of a run game. We don't see that this year. This offense is terribly one dimensional and it is not innovative enough to impose it's will on better defenses. The hardest thing for a defense to do is make an offense one dimensional and then shut it down. The Bills do that for opponents on its own. Very little is being done to keep opposing defenses off balance. Lastly, If a team brackets Diggs and spies Allen, there is no steady third option. Like the guy's point of view or not, Beasley was always a steady option to go if a D tried to take Diggs out and slow down Allen's run threat. Many many games that happened and Dabs went to quick hits to Beasley in the slot to get things going. Bease is not here, and I am not advocating he should have been here, but no replacement has stepped up. Some of that is on the players. Some of that is on the OC not utilizing what he has and using it more effectively. -

Tell me you didn't listen to the clip without telling me you didn't listen to the clip. He pays the NFL $4million a year in licensing fees. Not sure who is paying a subscription for his Podcast, it is free to me, as are most of the video clips on youtube. -

Ironic coming from a guy who has a Bills logo and an AFC Conference logo in your avatar. -
This was a good move. Very solid move.
-
Can't even afford him next season....

Meh. Smells like desperation after all the other moves today. "We did a move too!" Was it a 5th and Zack moss? I do think he adds to ST in a returner role. Maybe replaces ancient Taiwan Jones as a ST gunner/ace. Can be effective in spot duty as a RB. Very expensive next year, probably more then Singletary would be. Not sure that is an upgrade. Go Bills!

She is not. She is a Miami homer and not very positive on the Bills. Could have something to do with being a sibling to Jason Taylor. -
LOL Bojo. 9 yard punt

so no defense in the 4th qtr?

I couldn't understand the down vote on laughing at a kicker, now I get it! I think the Bungles are down to 3rd long snapper though.
