  1. Kromer was out and about but incognito wearing a Cardinals jersey 🤣
  2. The Boxer Briefs aren't lucky, the skid marks are 🤣
  3. Same. I guess a rookie RB Kyren Williams is healthy and taking snaps now. Rams let a LB and PS TE go too... guess they are mailing it in/ cutting contracts? Imagine trading for Moss when Henderson and Gordon are out there for free 🤣
  4. Yikes, this team is struggling with lack of offensive weapons and they cut Henderson? https://www.nfl.com/news/rams-waive-rb-darrell-henderson-after-three-plus-seasons-in-los-angeles
  5. Can't with the way the structured the contract. Denver is F&^#ed
  6. Purdy vs McSorley, this game is boss
  7. 50% of CB1, CB2, SS1 and FS1 have been out for most of the season. There have been games where the entire starting secondary, other than Taron Johnson, have been out. Dane Jackson has regressed without Poyer and Hyde making adjustments and calls. Taron Johnson's knack for PD and INTs has also disappeared, perhaps due to the same reason. Rumor has it if a guy is a backup, he probably isn't starter caliber in the NFL. CB3 and CB4 are rookies going through growing pains and injuries. If I'm not mistaken Benford is playing with a broken hand OBD didn't address S in a very deep S draft It's a mystery. The fact this staff still has the Bills anywhere near the top of the defensive stats is impressive to me given the injury bug.
  8. I might recommend you limit your intake of mass media. It is warping your point of view...
  9. As you go out from the city center it gets progressively worse. But the city and state have torn down a lot of the rot. There are some parks/ community gardens and redevelopment taking place in some of the now vacant parcels. Within he I-75 crescent is pretty decent and the innermost loop is really nice. Detroit was a major draw for a number of millenials (now in their 40s!) who were priced out of other cities. I am friends with a couple who bought a house in the era you are talking about for 25k, and they have remodeled it. It's a nice cozy home and their neighborhood off of Woodward is very nice. Detroit, Pittsburgh, Buffalo etc have fought hard to stabilize. There is still away to go, but things have improved significantly. PS my friends and I had rented a Mustang convertable and cruised 8 Mile. It wasn't anything worse than some sketchy places in Philadelphia, Rochester or cities in Jersey that we are familiar with. In fact it was nicer than most of North Philadelphia, Camden or the 14621 in Rochester.

  11. I went to a lot of music festivals at Hart Plaza (on the riverfront in center city/ downtown) between 2010-2018. Haven't been to Detroit since the Big C broke out. The clean up, development and safety of the city within the 75/375 loop was dramatic in that period. It's very much like the Chicago Loop @Nextmanup noted. The good news is there are a number of very nice hotels, restaurants, lounges and a casino all within that cleaned up area. There was a good cigar place toward the stadiums too. I would recommend the Casino area/ Greektown/ Bricktown and the surrounding areas. Basically Woodward Avenue (a major avenue) or east of it within the loop. Beaubian Blvd and Monroe St is a good center to start from. Monroe St has a lot of cool little places. It is still a large city center, keep aware of your surroundings and be aware, but that can be said for any city. I can't recommend any particular place now since it has been a couple of years and a lot of places have closed since the Big C. Another poster noted Pizzapaplis, that made great deep dish, is no longer open in city center. All of this is within walking distance or a small Uber ride to the Ford Field/ Commerica park complex. Hope this wasn't too late for folks who made it out. Would love a local to confirm since it has been a couple of years, and recommend some places or a Bills Backer bar for folks.
  12. reminds me of an old Cleveland Browns joke. Why did the Browns miss their flight out of Cleveland? The ticketing agent painted a goal line in front of the gate.
  13. It just seems like common sense. The county is putting a driving ban on, NY issued a state of emergency, the league moved the game, snow is starting to come down from the sky last night. How many clues does an org need? If the Bills don't make it to the game on time I could see a forfeit imposed.
  14. To the point of the bold text, in this past offseason the Bills brought in: Mike Shula (former NFL OC and college HC (Alabama)) Aaron Kromer (former interim NFL HC and NFL OC) Joe Brady (former NFL OC) That is a lot of cooks in the kitchen brought in to assist Dorsey in making the leap. Are those moves you make if you are 100% onboard with your new OC? just something to think about
  15. I know this isn't considered Lake Effect snow, but crazy how the Lakes effect our weather. I am an hour east in the Rochester metro, 1 mile south of Lake Ontario and I might have no excuse for not cutting my lawn! It's bright and sunny and our inch or so of snow has melted!
  16. yeah it is. My visits in Detroit are usually for music festivals at Hart Plaza. Most days we would head to the casino for a bathroom break and cool off (would play some slots to not cause an issue) and then head to Greektown or Bricktown for food. Pizzapopolis had great deep dish. Nikky's was good modestly priced diner food, or you could get some greek/ middle eastern favorites.
  17. that was the one I was thinking of. Haven't been to Detroit since the big C. Bummer. How about Nikky's?
  18. Greektown/ Bricktown/ Waterfront all good options (all next to each other). You want to stay in the 75/ 375 loop. All those neighborhoods are in that loop, as if Ford Field. Safe (relatively), lots of good food options, lots of hotels, the casino etc. If you like deep dish pizza, Detroit does a good job of it IMO.
  19. if they place a buffet table in a strategic location they may be able to trap a wild Kelvin Benjamin
  20. I'm a bit further East and it looks like we are avoiding most of this storm. It was my understanding the heavy snow was falling Thursday to Saturday. Has Erie County put on a travel ban? How much actual snow are you folks getting versus forecasts? Not sure why you replied to me about a dome? Have a great day
  21. With the current rate of inflation we will transition to the dime.
