What have Beane & Derm done for me to trust the process? I'm happy we broke the drought. But building the team... how can i just trust them?

This is such a genuine post! I was all end on Watson last year... it's something about going to back to back National Title games facing the only team in college that resembles an NFL team. Watson was the real deal Hmmmm ?

Not picks 22, 56, 65, 96 & 166 ... No... i didnt forget that. But that was my point. We did all of that to acquire those picks... why be fearful to trade them all away? How, you acquired those picks to sell off in the 1st place... why would it matter how many we keep?

Picks... 22, 56, 65, 95 & 166 Are not the Bills picks... for the sake of argument, we got those picks to trade them off for a QB. So if the Giants want all of those picks & we add in our 1st for next year to complete the plan that was laid out in last year's draft, Is that worth it?? Its a big haul...but it's not your money/Capital your spending except for the 1st for next year... Now in my opinion, I'm ok staying at 12, but I know most of the fanbase are vested in the idea of trading up...& who can blame them, again this was the plan from last year. We could of drafted Watson, like I've been banging the table to do on Twitter & WGR. But they punted for this season... so I get the frustration. But, does it ease your mind knowing if we traded up... we really didn't give up much except the picks we acquired

Bucky Brooks is just as clueless as Kiper. For starters... the Giants are not passing on Barkley, for a QB maybe but that's a 25% chance...definitely not a OG. The Broncos are drafting a QB or trading out... & the Bills hate Allen! It's evident by the numerous rumors that they like Allen. The Bills new brass has been tight lipped on everything! So why am I to believe somehow "The Bills love Allen" all of a sudden got leaked out??? No you leak out the guy you least like... then Mayfield is still in the board!

No... you have... Mason Rudolph, Riley Ferguson, Luke Falk, Kyle Lauletta, & Mike White But I'll rather have Jackson because of his legit production... just like i said about Watson... there's just some things you can't teach... talent & winning is just A1 on the Ribeye Jackson is not a RUN FIRST QB... you must haven't watch him play... cause NOBODY that literally watched him play has said that. Even Howard Simon on WGR, who admittedly watch only 2-3 games of Jackson came away saying "He's far from a run first QB".... So will Darnold.. people claim he need 1-2 years... yet he might go 1sr overall. But talent evaluators say "Jackson with the right team has the highest upside" This ⬆

If that's the case (I didn't get a chance to listen to the presser yet, but I will in a few), then I believe I know who our pick will be. It's Lamar Jackson... think about it. Beane has scouted these QB's heavy all season. With his background of being the leading guy who scouted Cam, & Jackson being a better prospect then Cam, with a higher ceiling, he figures why move up anymore? Where in a great spot to draft our guy, if we can move up then fine...if not we'll get Jackson who we wanted all along. Imagine if Cam came out in a better draft class like this one... he'll probably be the 5th best prospect also. In 2011, Luck & heisman winner of that year RG3 decided to stay in college for their senior years, Cam at one point was behind Blaine Gabbert, Locker & Ponder was creeping up too. Beane ultimately drafted Cam out of everyone & was right. Pick 21 was a good spot to probably get Jackson, 12 is a great spot to definitely get him. This makes way too much sense. The only thing, you have Rosen & Mayfield coming out & they are extremely great prospects but just like Cam... Jackson has a high ceiling too, he just came out with a really good draft class. AJ isn't bad & will probably shock some people come training camp... & it will allow Jackson to sit for a year & polish up his accuracy a bit. I feel like it's always been Rosen, Mayfield & Jackson for Beane & the fact that he can keep all his picks & get Jackson is a victory in his book. It's not a bad plan when you sit & really think about it. It may not be the plan we all collectively wanted, but it's not a bad plan.

Pretty much... Man Rush.... Man.... we've been living in this mindset for way too long. I just don't want to get back into this space anymore. I hear you... but man it depresses me to get back here... I want to believe in this front office, I want to feel like they're doing something different then previous regimes

Yea definitely our 2 1st's... crazy I really figured we had a great deal with the Colts... Lawson, the 12th & 65th picks along with next year's 2nd. That's a great deal ... (this is what was thrown around on GR)

& I'm all for that. If Beane believes his guy is our franchise QB for the next 10-15yrs... then you do it.

I totally agree with this Jrober This is pretty much ideal situation going around the NFL about the Giants... this has been said numerous of times on WGR. Most people won't agree...cause they think this is an opinion but it's almost a fact

I agree...but I don't think it's for a QB... they want to win now. They are locked in for Barkley!

They should but I don't think Gettlemen will budge. I know him & Beane have a good relationship... but I feel like they are set on Barkley & unless Cleveland draft Barkley (which I doubt it base off the Hyde signing) then the only chance we have is to mortage the farm for 1st overall.

News Flash this is the new Buffalo Bills Message board. I've seen some old chat pals... & I'm meeting some new ones. Those 3 issues you name come with the territory of a fan message board. Same problem exist on the old message board, cause people are not going to go through 15-35 different forums to see if someone will post something. It's 2018 bud... people are using their phones to chat on this site... people are working... hear some news, whip the phone out... & start a new topic before they boss comes out. Loosen up you jock strap a little... it's not a big deal, just ignore it... that's what I do.
