  1. This is a good question... I don't think it is plan A... I do think they want to trade up... but they need a partner... & it doesn't look like they have a trade partner Hmmmm ?
  2. So as a sideline reporter... you think he doesn't know who's in the stadium? Who's scouting who? So I guess Sal Capaccio is just a sideline reporter that doesn't know squat about the Bills huh? ?
  3. You do know he's not talking about the Dallas Cowboys right...? ??
  4. This Draft is probably the most interesting Draft I've seen in recent years & I've been watching football for while. The hype to move up is bigtime... but has anyone considered the Bills possible backup plan. It doesn't seem like the Giants will move out of 2... & the Browns are noted by plenty of beat reporters to not move out of 1 & 4... the 3rd pick is a wrap. A trade partner for the Bills seems non existent for the moment. Then if we do have a partner, teams are trying to fleece us for almost everything we have. So what's out end game here??? Take Ridley at 12? Roquan Smith at 12? I doubt if they trade out of 12. Then Mason Rudolph seems like there guy. Look... I can spit out who I want them to take... it's nice to want things. But I want to know what could be the backup plan? I think they love Darnold... but know he's going 1st overall... Quiet, mild manner, deep in faith, all about the team... is Derm kinda guys... the only guy I think that matches those intangibles is Rudolph, but he just isn't as talented as Darnold. Do you take him at 12? I'm getting to the point, that trading up the draft is fools gold right now. Any thoughts? Oh... Here's another interview on the QB's, if you haven't got a chance to listen yet. Enjoy! 3-23 Schopp and the Bulldog Hour 3 - Eric Galko http://www.wgr550.com/media/podcast/schopp-and-bulldog
  5. I would say he knows more then you brah. Plus, his insight checks out. There's been some good sources, that have said the Bills scouts & Beane have attended alot of his games this season. So if you can't back up "He doesn't know" then I gotta go with his insight.
  6. Honestly who believes in him? There was a poll on Twitter & Allen out of 10,000+ fans was voted the least one to draft. If most of the posters on here likes Allen... then they haven't don't their research & fell in love with his size & deep ball ???
  7. Instead of starting another thread... I'll just add to this one. Great Breakdown on Mason Rudolph 03-23 Oklahoma State sideline reporter Robert Allen with Howard and Jeremy on Mason Rudolph - http://www.wgr550.com/media/podcast/howard-and-jeremy
  8. You do realize it's just a pro Day right? Man you should pull up my thread on "Great Breakdown on rookie prospects" there's a good link you should click on
  9. Because it requires nothing to listen... you can click on it & listen in the car... I don't know bud... listen on your own time then it's not about the show... it's about the guy their interviewing
  10. When he said "It was a Buffalo Bills pick" that's him not throwing Buddy under the bus. If Whaley was guilty of anything, it was showing too much loyalty to the wrong people. Loyalty to Buddy... & Loyalty to EJ... he's a better man then most. Cause if it was me... I would have said "EJ wasn't my pick & we're moving in a different direction" ... but he didn't want to do that. How would you have looked at him if he said that?
  11. I don't think he believed in him... cause if he did... he wouldn't have traded up for Sammy. The Sammy Trade was more "This Kid isn't good... but we can't bail on him with only 14 games...so let's get him the best WR to come out since Julio Jones & maybe it will hide EJ flawes". If Whaley believed in EJ, he would have just took any WR that fell to him...but he wanted to hide his deficiencies & with only 14 starts at the time... we just couldn't bell on him...all we knew is that he wasn't that good & will probably need ALOT of weapons for him to be ok. I can't blame that on Whaley... it's would of made us look like a dumpster fire. Every media outlet took as we're trying to build around him. Which we were but if he was good we didn't have to do that.
  12. Again...for those that probably missed it this morning. Another Great insider on the Rookie prospects. These little guy's may not be on NFL Network or ESPN... but these are the guys like Sal... beat writers that know their stuff. It's not a long listen... but just gives more clarity on the prospects instead of going off Hearsay from the mega media guy's... that all seem to say the same thing. 03-22 Derrick Klassen of Pro Football Outsiders with Howard and Jeremy - http://www.wgr550.com/media/podcast/howard-and-jeremy Enjoy ?
  13. No! He wasn't as bad as Russ Brandon acting like a GM... but you don't take Spiller when you already have BeastMode & FredEx on the roster. Then... drafting EJ... & leaving it on Whaley was just plain wrong!
  14. It had plans to add to Zay... I was never sold on Zay as an outside guy... I felt like he needed time to grow into that role. I've always thought we would draft a WR early & that still haven't change for me. If Calvin Ridley or DJ Moore is there at 22....i think it's a no brainer... if not... take Rashaan Evans, then take DJ Chark in the 2nd rd. Deonte Thompson & man the slot until Day comes back in the lineup.
  15. Great point! It's amazing how some people don't understand this logic. You have to take chances... & the Bills have taken the fewest QB's in the draft the last 30 years if I'm not mistaken. It's only been Jimbo, Collins, JP, Trent, & EJ... that's not good. Then you have the fliers like Troy Brown, Peterman & company ? This organization haven't taken enough chances at QB & for any fan to try & justify not taking one in a year where you have literally 8 good prospects at the position tells me who's not paying attention to what this team really needs.
  16. I hear you, but I feel differently on Jackson. I feel like he's every bit of Watson if not better. People thought Watson was Tyrod... literally ESPN compared him to Tyrod. Yet he isn't...Watson is more then that...& as a prospect coming out of College, Jackson is better then Watson in every category
  17. Well said ?? This is why I said in another thread... I don't completely trust Derm & Beane. They haven't done anything for us to trust their decision making. Then I had a poster say..."well that's who's in charge now, we have to trust them, there's nobody else" Just because their in charge doesn't mean we have to trust they're making the best decisions... like you said Ayjent to move on from Tyrod without having a QB already in place isn't a good move you make. They got rid of alot of talent & haven't replace it either. But they have to draft a QB! It's a must... even if they want to get to the top 3. Well get one of your guy's cause I know they like more then just 1 QB. So if Jackson or Rudolph is your 3rd best option... draft him a 12 before The Cards or Saints do it. They made this plan last year when they decided NOT to draft Mahomes or Watson, so now they have to complete it I'm not saying draft one just to do it... see my other post ☝️?
  18. If they don't move up... this is still a good class that you might find a Derek Carr or Russell Wilson. But we won't know unless we take a chance. All we've done is draft & fill other positions...it doesn't work. I don't care if we draft another Dareus, Gilmore, Darby, Kyle Williams, Sammy, Robert Woods, ect. We still will be middle of the pack like always until we draft a QB. We have to draft one & draft one often. If we don't move up to the top 3, draft one at 12.
  19. For starters I understand some people on here listen to WGR, but I know some people don't get a chance to. So like I use to do on the BB Msg board, I would post some good but not long interviews. This one was good... & until McBeane decides they want to move up to 2 or the Giants decide they want to trade out of 2... it's time we get realistic on what our options really might be. Enjoy! ? 03-20 Mark Schofield of Inside the Pylon with Howard and Jeremy - http://www.wgr550.com/media/podcast/howard-and-jeremy
  20. Judging from some people on this forum, the Bills don't need WR's because we have a new OC, & don't know what the offense will look like. Which is just laughable... we need weapons, especially if we're planning on drafting a QB. I can see us drafting a DJ Chark in the 2nd, making a play for Meredith from the Bears. After those possible moves our WR group will look good
  21. I understand our salary cap issues, but we're going to face the same thing as last year... Nobody getting open consistently & players stacking the box to stop Shady. Now unless AJ is some diamond in the rough that will just throw it up to give Benjamin a chance cause he's open when covered...i don't see this WR group doing anything different then last year
  22. There is none....but I still don't have to trust them... you just don't give someone your trust just because they're new. Man... that's the start of a bad relationship. If this was a woman...you'll be screwed thinking like that
  23. Very good point! I didn't think of it that way. We definitely gave up pur assets... yea... again great point!
