  1. Again...its clearly stated the Giants, Browns, Broncos, & Colts were not TRADING because they're players all fell to them... it didn't matter what the Bills wanted to offer. Beane is also on record saying he was trying to give away the 2nd 1st rd pick ... but nobody wanted to Trade. You need a partner when trading... teams just don't trade because you come calling, it's not how this thing works That last comment sounds like Whaley plan when he drafted EJ... & EJ had a better college career ??? Sounds like JP too... Big arm kid that can throw it a mile, athletic with a high ceiling. Ok maybe the 3rd time is a charm This is probably the best post to go against my question. All facts & I love your opinion, it shows you've been paying attention.
  2. Because most of the league along with the Bills was sold pie in the sky
  3. Sooooo.... your relying on Ron Streater?? News flash: if you have Kerley, Holmes & Streater in your starting line up.. I think your WR group is down right awful
  4. I hear you... he also holds the ball WAY too long, makes bad decisions, can't make the simple throws consistently, can't throw to the flats, can't throw 5 & outs, can't throw 10 & outs, over throws post routes, like you said his footwork is horrible. But out of everything you & I said....there's one thing thats probably the BIGGEST concern about Allen... HE DIDN'T DOMINATE AGAINST MEDIOCRE COMPETITION! If he's so good why didn't he dominate? Kyle Lauletta doubled every passing stat as a Richmond Spider! Big Ben dominated the rank at Miami Ohio, Carson Wentz, even Joe Flacco dominated at their respected levels...they showed they were men amongst boys... Allen showed he shouldn't even be allowed in this conversation... he barely had over 5,000 yards passing, 44 TD's & 24 Picks Joe Flacco had 4,200 in 1 season at Delaware! It's crazy to even think Allen can beat out McCarron right now. That's not opinion, it's a fact. The facts are this is a QB league & Allen got overvalued & overdrafted. Please don't use the Browns to support cause they haven't been right since they came back in the league, plus teams get it wrong alot....why do you think Coaches get fired? Just because Arizona valued him too doesn't mean they know what they're doing, half of these teams are clueless! #FACTS the Seattle Seahawks traded up for a punter! That's evident teams are flat out clueless. But believe what you want buddy
  5. How closed minded are you? You do realize you have a brain too right? Look, I may not be in the NFL, but I've been around this game for a long time, playing, coaching training for myself & training others, I....yes ME... knows what I'm looking for then the average closed minded fan that just want to go to the games & drink beer with their buddies. If I'm wrong... then get I'm wrong...& it's a good thing for the Bills... but if I'm right, then Beane & McDermott is honey bun done! Either way it's a WIN - WIN for me. You can't always go by what the media said... I love Mike Mayock too... I think he's right 80% of the time but every now & then that 20% creeps in. The best one in this entire QB draft class is going to be Lamar Jackson! why? Because the tape never lies! Cam had the best tape, & was the most establish coming out in 2011... yet all these media & NFL top execs... didn't have him high at all. Some of these so called "experts" Had Blaine Gabbert over Cam, Ponder too at one point... People ignored Locker horrible senior year & went off his junior year, even tho Cam was light the league up....Just like Lamar Jackson... & no Lamar isn't a running QB... but it's not a bad problem to have when your O-line is horrible...JUST ASK RUSSELL WILSON how that feels. Point is... you have to see & think for yourself. I've post plenty of links on guys that offered some good insight on all these QB's... because most of the guy's I've posted link too... supported things that I... yes Me...saw. I'm no coward! I'm just not a blinded fan...I actually know football... I don't just watch it. I actually understand the schemes & verbiage Look...i love my Bills, & understand most people don't want to hear "The Bills Screwed Up" but everyone isn't perfect. This front office isn't perfect & they shouldn't get a pass. In 1 year they've made a TON of mistakes... but they came in with a lucky tailmen or something cause they've gotten bailed out on numerous occasions. But you can only keep screwing up a certain amount of times before it comes back to bite you. Most of you have to understand it...if not then your preparing yourself to be pissed off completely into shock, once McBeane luck runs out. I just want a front office to do things right... not over think it or become blinded by their own way of doing things, that they ignore what really matters.
  6. Look I'm not defending them, but the fanbase was wrong in accusing them for making people dislike Allen. Honestly IMO the people that like Allen & was hype when we drafted him NEVER SAW HIM PLAY ONE GAME! If they did there is no way they came away feeling this guy is a franchise QB! Either they never watch him play, don't know what there looking at & is completely clueless or they ignore everything they saw & want to believe the lie. I was part of the text club... & I was one of the people telling Jeremy "stop text us Allen games...i don't want to see anymore" Why? Cause they were horrible to watch! They can't just say "hey Josh you suck butt...go away & never come back" they had to be nice...its there job.
  7. See that's one issue on this board...people think it's all an opinion... where I clearly separated the facts from "My thoughts" Thanks for posting this
  8. Are you sure about that? He's getting praised for getting Edmonds but it wouldn't have happen if the draft didn't fall the way it did, all the teams couldn't pass on their players so they wasn't trading. Beane clearly tells Chris Brown that if Chubb didn't fall to Denver, we wouldn't have Edmonds cause I was clearly going to give them the 22nd pick to move to 5. Hey it's a good thing for Edmonds but it's clear, once Darnold (Their guy) went off the board... they didn't want to lose their 3rd guy... Read my previous post No...if we'd got Rosen, Darnold or Mayfield... I think we're feeling very confident right now. But we dont...& it's back on the "Wheel of uncertainty" for us
  9. & that wouldn't have been a bad thing. Not true... they valued Barkely over the haul... it's obviously
  10. Did the Bills REALLY get their guy? Or did they panic? I believed they panic! I believe they're guy was Darnold...then given the fact that they met with Mayfield about 4 times... i feel like they panic once Mayfield went 1st overall. The Giants probably told them no...Our guy is there, then the Jets...who really screwed us since the trade...take Darnold! Now people want to praise Beane for patients...Please! He was trying to trade with the Browns, The Broncos & the Colts...problem was...all those teams couldn't pass on the players that fell to them. It's obvious that they had Allen over Rosen (Which is concerning imo) & it's just NO WAY they can tell me Allen is a better prospect then Rosen. How far apart were Allen & Rosen? I felt like they could hve sat there at 12 once "Their Guy" went off the board. When you watch Allen play...its just no way they can say... "He was our guy" They panic... just like the other regime did with JP Losman. Thoughts?
  11. Whatever makes you sleep at night guy
  12. They didn't see his tweets he's being scrutinized for. Just because they interview him & we dont doesn't mean the fans can't learn anything on a prospect that the league doesn't know. Obviously someone outside of the 32 NFL teams saw those tweets & made then public. If Beane & McDermott draft this kid, everything about them goes into question. We all see that he's bad! Heck...look on the 1st page at the post where he's CLEARLY missing a 5 yard net! It's not rocket science & you don't have to work for an NFL team when something is this clear! Now...20 years ago... footage of his mishaps would be for the scouts & GM's eyes only... it's not the case in 2018. People aren't clueless or blind Shaw... come on man...you know this.
  13. I hear you Thurm... but this comment right here "Fans don't like Allen but the pros do..." Is another issue I have with Allen... there's plenty of reports that support your comment here. "The ol' school coaches will love Josh Allen" this isn't 1998 anymore. It's a young man's game... guy's like Ozzie Newsome, Doug Marrone, Charlie Casserly loves Josh Allen... & I'm sorry the game has completely blown pass uncle Charlie. That comment represents scouts, coaches, & GM's like him....smh When I watch Allen over shoot wide open WR's running down the middle of the field, throws with NO anticipation, holds the ball WAY too long, over throw RB's in the flats, throw the ball out of bounds consistently on an Out Route, WITHOUT ANY pressure of his weak competition...i think...there's No way in hell this dude goes in the 1st round! I want to believe our coaching staff is smart... & if they took Allen... Will cause me to question: do they really know what they're doing or did they just get lucky last year???
  14. Exactly! It's something I don't think most of us thought about but it's almost a possibility it happens...even Sal on WGR said he wouldn't be surprise if we'd took Allen This is one reason I'm praying we don't take Allen... I like McBeane ... & I want to see them stick around
  15. We've all pretty much express who we want, all the posts & threads. But we haven't discuss the worse possibility. Which is, if our front office literally trade assets to move up (to 2nd, 4th, 5th, or 6th) & Draft Josh Allen...over Mayfield, Rosen, & even Jackson or Rudolph. What would Beane & McDermott Have To do to sale you on him for the press conference??? We all may not be scouts, but the few of us that know football based off our different backgrounds (whether you've played the game, HS, College, ect... coach the game, just flat out been somewhat apart of the game). You have eyes, & there's one thing about the NFL Draft..."The Eyeball test doesn't lie" What would they have to do/say to make you believe they've made the correct choice on drafting a prospect that should go in the 2nd Rd, but is being hyped up so much, he's going to get WAY overdrafted???
  16. I don't care if we trade the next 3 first rd picks... they better not do it for Josh Allen!
  17. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY THREAD! I was not suggesting to use Shady for trade bait! Smh ????????? This is exactly why nobody uses the search button! Cause the topics in other threads are different. #Comprehend
  18. If your a team like the Eagles, & the GM values him alot, then why not? The 32nd pick is pretty much the top of the 2nd rd anyway. Most team don't really value that pick, & trade it away most years. It's not like it's the 20th pick in the 1st rd... Beane got a 3rd for Tyrod... when a team is really interested then they will pay. Nobody uses the search button... plus my point wasn't just to make a "trade Shady" it was to bring to light something I've heard here in philly. Then I added my opinion to it at the bottom of my post. I don't know what the other thread was talking about... but this is something that I wanted to bring to Bills fans... get there thoughts on a specific scenario involving the 32nd pick.... not some opinionated packed trade someone came up with. This is a trade that could realistically happen come Thursday night. It could be just talk, it could be so tight lipped, NFL Network don't even know about it. It shouldn't be dismissed or added to a hypothetical thread of someone imagination that's running wild. It's just talk... smh
  19. Exactly my point. So why is @NewEra confused? ? That's bringing back 20 out of 63 players from that playoffs team
  20. Before you all get your panties & jock straps twisted into a knot... I heard a rumor here in Philly that Howie Rosemen really want Shady back. He has 6 RB's on the roster, & he's trying to clear at least 3 off. If this is true, Makes sense for the Eagles... they had alot of RB's last year during they're SB run. Plus Howie has been trying to get Shady back since he got back into his GM role. The 32nd picked for Shady is what I heard. If they offered that to Beane on draft day, would you be mad if he'd did it??? Me personally, I wouldn't...Shady is a great back, & will most likely go to the Hall of Fame, he's in great shape, & looks to play the next 3 years at a high level. He's one of those guy's I believe deserves a ring, kinda like Phillip Rivers, Jim Kelly, ect... I know, HE'S OUR ENTIRE OFFENSE! But, even if we draft a QB, we won't be competing consistently on a serious level until 2-3 more years. Our O-line took a huge unexpected hit, Shady might be in for the worst season of his career... if we get the 32nd pick, we could take Darius Guice, & let him our Rookie QB, possibly DJ Chark in the 2nd grow together. Granted this might not even happen cause again Shady is great, & it's hard to replace greatness, but I feel like it's deserved for the player, plus it will help our cap more come next year. Thought?
  21. It honestly was nothing wrong with Miller...Dennison was a stubborn old man, that wanted to do things his way. I heard he had an issue with Miller cause he's a little undersize... smh. Glad Dennison is gone! But I do think our O-line stinks! Lol... I find it funny we all wanted Mills gone... now we need him. More then ever just for depth ? ?????? posts like this sucks the life out of a forum
  22. Huh? The first 8 games! It's murderous row. We'll be lucky to be 1-3 come October. We don't & I repeat DON'T have an offense to compete with the Chargers, Vikes & Green Bay. Our defense isn't that talented, we don't have any LB's. Plus, it's unrealistic to think we will have a historically good defense that will hold good offenses under 10 pts. & it will have to be 10pts... cause how is this team going to score 14pts?
