Careful, this board doesn't like intelligent forward thinking logic ???

Ok.... What positions are littered with talent? We have a few sprinkles...but no way is it littered. As far as McBeane LONG TERM vision... I thought they had one too... but now it just seems they're making moves on the fly. Prime example... there's no way ?? They didn't know Allen was going to get in this year... they had no plan to replace McCarron until AFTER the Green Bay game when they realized how demoralized Allen looked & the only guy he had to bounce ideas off of was Peterman.... Peterman... who they also sold themselves on...that he could actually be a starter & instead of keeping McCarron ... whom could have took the mentor role for 1 year... they traded him... & added another cool million in dead cap. This is one of many head scratching decisions...but hey this was all calculated I guess?? How is it old? This just happen last year... don't get upset because I'm not walking around like this front office is the best thing since the buffalo wing! I never said any of those things you claim... I stated an obvious point... & you couldn't handle it... so you through a temper tantrum on a forum... yet I need to grow up? ???

As good as Tre Day is... I would rather had Mahomes... & all our picks that we used to move up... & our players, so that we wouldn't have the $50+ million in Dead cap by choice. But hey... I'm just a fan... what do I know? ?

McBeane has been pounding the table about staying competitive & competing... well what we saw today isn't that. What the Browns are doing to the Steelers are competing! The most disappointing thing is our defense looks awful... wasn't expecting that! Then Tyrod is just looking like Tyrod...keeping his team in the game. Sure...so who's giving up there good offensive linemen??? Not any of the good teams... why would they trade? Then the teams that's building...like us... who's giving away their Dion Dawkins??? I know we're not doing that...if the Titans call us... Dawkins like most good O-linemen are good building blocks... teams are not going to just trade with you cause you want to trade. It's free agency or the draft. Unless you find a team that knows they're gonna suck... & have talent to trade... that's the only way. The Colts just revamp they're line, so did the Giants...even though I dont think neither team is a contender, they have enough talent to try & build on.

Hey I'm not... but I wanted to be wrong about Allen. I'm still not all the way in, but like I've said in my op... he's earned me not ripping him anymore right now. He has my Bills looking good...& that makes me happy

I don't know..."This guy Pete" looms like a different dude! He's showing some swag... lol...love the one arm compression sleeve With Pete looking this good... no need to rush Allen in the game this early in his career. Remember it's only preseason & he hasn't went up against a 1st team defense yet

I would love to see Kap, but he's being blackballed... Teddy Bridgewater would be a great Vet that can come in to play, but I don't think the Jets give him to us for cheap... It's only 2-3 weeks... just let it ride out for now... get someone in for the practice squad. If not, then Matt Moore is the last option

Hey look... I hope this thread stays up cause I want people to read my post! I'm probably one of the main posters that was against drafting Josh Allen... & right now... I'm HAPPY that I might be wrong! I'm not all in... but I'm a little excited.... he looks pretty good! Trust me, my "I was wrong about Josh Allen thread" will come if I'm wrong... I'm a man of my word. But I'm not criticizing him anymore... he's earned that from me right now Scorp ?

He only has a little bit to work with but I think we have something in him. Man... we finally have a franchise QB, Peterman did well...but Allen out performed him cause he had the 3's. Man this kid is special! Did I cover it all for ya?

I'm keeping an open mind with Allen. I haven't forgot his scouting reports, I haven't forgotten most of his games I've watch of his during the college season. Sorry...Allen has to prove it before I fall head over heels for him.

???????????? You can't be serious?!?! He looked like that in college... bad foot work, over thrown balls...late decision making. But out of nowhere... he'll make a few throws that will "Wow" you... Allen is a project, he was a project during college, coming out of college... & nothing has change. He has a little talent... but was he worth a 1st like the 5 experts thought? Heck no! Other experts like Bucky Brooks, DJ, Charles Davis, heck our own best reporters, Sal, Joe B, Fairburn, ect... all said he should be a 2nd rd pick, but given the position it's not going to happen. That's what people got confused on. Just cause he was projected to go in the 1st doesnt mean he was suppose to go in the 1st. Projects like Allen shouldn't sniff the 1st... but it's a QB league..& this stuff happens. This is why something's I love what McBeane has done & some things I don't. Like, what made then not want Deshaun Watson??? What made him not worth the 11th pick 2 years ago? Yet, the Pegula's went gushing over Allen??? How you not gush over Watson??? But hey drafting Allen was bold... & like I've said... "Its a bold strategy Cotton, let's see if it pays off" EJ & JP looked better then Allen in their preseason games... that's facts...not being negative

I've been saying it all offseason... Our only hope is that Peterman looks good. Allen looks like Allen... Granted its preseason, you can't take away too much, but Peterman looked comfortable & decisive. When he know where he wants to throw the ball...he can anticipate it pretty well...which makes up for his lack of arm strength. Allen still has the same issues I saw in college...his footwork isn't that good. He's a project tho... 1st round pick... but a project nonetheless.
