  1. I didn't at first....but honestly...the kid is growing on me every week. I'm starting to like him & it gets me mad at the same time. I wish our front office put more emphasis on our offense this past draft. I like Edmonds... but felt if we were going to go Allen (who i really didnt want), then go get him Ridley or Sutton or DJ Moore... someone that can grow with him this year. It just seems like we're a step behind every year. Example, if we draft a WR, he has to go through his growing pains, while Allen might be ready to take the next step... but now his weapons isn't ready. Ridley going through his pains now...after starting off hot. These things happens with rookie WR's...
  2. Man the Bills & our bonehead moves... Anthony Lynn & Mahomes makes everyone from the Pegula's to McDermott look like they're clueless on talented people. I'm not saying we're doom... but man we had some great options 2 years ago & we failed to go that route. It's like we're 2 years behind...
  3. I hear your point & I agree with most of it... but what you said is part of my point. They get paid to know this stuff... & again...if they didn't know that's a huge problem. Then, McDermott preaches "Forward Thinking" which is complete crap honestly, cause if your forward thinking, then you make sure you have someone behind Peterman just in case, not your rookie QB, that needs the most development out of his class... Which leads me to Allen... who you know for a fact Hap, I didn't want the kid drafted by us, but If that's the route they planned on going... & your "forward thinking" then you should of paid up for McCown or kept Tyrod or had secured a solid Veteran. To draft Allen & not have anything around him...knowing he needs work (again...if they didn't think Allen needed the most help, then they shouldn't be there, they get paid to know this stuff) is literally irresponsible on McBeane part. Then their ignorance showed up when they traded AJ... now there were rumors he didn't want to be a mentor...fine... but they should of signed someone quickly...not wait until Peterman failed, then Allen Failed/got hurt, If they did their homework, like most people that doesn't get paid for watching film, then they should have seen all of this coming. Peterman was not a starter, evident from last year, Allen wasn't ready either, & McBeane went on their marry way. Trusting a misguided process instead of simple logic. That's my thing Hap
  4. Its amazing how we can see if a player is actually good when we feed him the ball. Zay needs to get 8-12 targets a game... he can turn into a very solid 2nd WR that you can move in & out of the slot.
  5. That's what I said... he can only know 10 plays & its better then a Peterman knowing the whole playbook If I remember correctly, 2001 was self inflicting too... but not as bad. Gregg Williams decided to cut Flutie smh... named Rob Johnson the starter... & he sucked so bad Alex Van Pelt had to come in & make us below average. This was also the year...I was screaming at the tv saying "Tom Brady sucks...how are we letting him do this to us?!?!" 17 years later... I still can't believe he turned out this good smh
  6. Oh they expected it...go back & hear how they were talking during the preseason. This is why criticism is so high right now, they had to know...& if they didn't know Peterman would have blown up in their face, then they shouldn't be here. It's their job to be prepared & they were not.
  7. There's alot of players that shouldn't have never been cut! This whole bad situation is by CHOICE on McBeane part
  8. This has been my entire argument! I'm with you on this COMPLETELY! Granted, I'm one of the main posters on this site that didn't want Allen...at all! But, after a few shots of Whiskey, some beer, a margarita, 5 pina coladas, more beer, a one night stand & 4 months to sleep on it... I was on board. Then I saw then preseason rolled around & they traded AJ... then cut Coleman, then started Peterman... I literally said to myself "they can't really believe Peterman will work?" & if he doesn't, is Allen...the 1 guy that's considered the worst QB out of the top 5 QB's, that needs the most work & isn't ready to start his rookie season... is the backup?!?!?" "& they're not bringing in a savvy Vet to replace AJ to help this kid out in case things fell off the rails? But yet I'm supposed to believe McBeane is "Forward Thinking"?? Once I've notice all of that... I knew we were doomed from week 1... Man...I hate being right sometimes. They screwed up so bad... this is all they can do John
  9. YES! . Please let Barkley start, I don't care if he only knows 10 plays! Barkley only knowing 10 plays, is better then Peterman knowing the whole playbook
  10. I saw it... they took a shot ... it was funny cause it was true... but they still took a shot. Red Dead 2... why not that? Lol
  11. No... screw that thread. This is much better ? I was saying the same thing... Derm is so conservative... that 3rd & 8 run... just to secure the FG... horrible call Zay Jones is our best WR... he needs the ball more! They need to force feed him the ball more! Get away from this prehistoric offense. I'm tired of watching Brady run the K-Gun & we invented it. Smh
  12. So how is this more relevant then having different gameday threads? This has nothing to do with the Bills... I'd rather have multiple game threads, so I dont have to scroll through 15 pages of posts
  13. 2nd great post! I love facts! Its indisputable
  14. Sad... so sad. Here's the stupid Pats, winning the division, have multiple rings & a HOF QB... top 10 offense, & their still trying to add talent??? People want to joke about KB, man you fans are looking at this all wrong. Our offense is starving for some kind of talent, our HC is way too high on Character then talent, we've drafted (by many experts) the worst QB out of the bunch, that needs the most work & isn't ready to play in this league, I think our front office needs to try & get some kind of talent that can still be on the roster next year to help the QB they probably doomed us too. They've already showed their ignorance to having a plan for him by not having a steady veteran for the kid... you'd think they would want to add another option not just through the draft. Probably the best post on this board today besides mine
  15. Nobody is whining... you have some people on this board that decided to keep it straight, not sugar coat things & sell pie in the sky. Then you have have posters that....in all honesty...sound like McDermott, banging the table for Nathan Peterman....fans that's so blinded by blind faith, you almost feel sorry for them cause they believe so hard, they can't see the many wrongs this front office have done. Then when it finally hit them...they disappear, they're quiet for months...until they get another glimmer of hope...& it's back to the blind faith again. I love my Bills, always did, always will... & I use to be there... you know what happen... I turned 35 & everything in life seems much clearer. You grow up, & you decide not to be lied to anymore...with everyone & everything, including the Bills. The Bill's have to prove it....that's where I am... & right now, they haven't done ANYTHING for me to give them benefit of the doubt! We're a bad team, & so far, we're poorly managed too. It is what it is... eat the cake Anna Mae...
  16. Oh I have answers, been posting them all year. Just cause I haven't in this thread, doesn't mean I haven't at all bud
  17. Lot of blind leading the blind... they don't like realistic threads like this. They don't want to think our front office, messed things up so early
  18. The big blue view? ???? Couldn't find a credible source that loves Allen eh? Not really...
  19. I would say Yes! But it's over & done with...& we have to live with the stupidity of this front office! Who chooses "high Character" over talent. Who believes in the wrong QB... so why should I believe they've picked the right one? They don't have a plan...& nobody believes in their process anymore ? ? Why cause your used to everyone being naive? The Bill's goofed it up...plain & simple bud. Our HC has issues...the front office doesn't have a good enough plan... & the plan/process in question...looks really bad
  20. I totally agree with Peter King... you have to be clueless to what has been going on the past 2 years to feel differently
  21. I disagree with this whole post... he's shell shocked, escapes the pocket way too early, he has 166 passing the last 2 weeks combined, he doesn't throw to open WR's... granted the WR's are crap... but Zay is open almost all the time... He's so Raw & is behind the QB's in the 1st Rd... except Jackson & that's only because he has Flacco in front of him. PPF has Allen rated as the worst QB under pressure. This is why I didnt want to draft him, because he's a project. McBeane is a joke right now, because they didn't have a plan after drafting the QB that needs the most work. They fell in love with Allen personality, more so then his readiness to play in this league. To sit here & try to compare Allen to the rest of this QB class is laughable in itself. He's not ready for this league, & I think McBeane just figured that out... which is why he's "Week to Week" & Allen wants a second opinion... Ughhh take the hint kid, your bench... i feel like McBeane just didn't want to hurt the kid feelings.
