Carlos Hyde would be a solid add of cheap. Ideally we’d go in to camp with 3 solid RBs. Someone always gets hurt throughout the year and it would be nice to not have to rely on a Taiwan Jones or TJ Yeldon to take snaps. Singletary Hyde Akers/Moss Would be a pretty solid group.

Carruci: Bills not pursuing Cam Newton
Iamkrgr replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know people hate on the idea but I’m not totally against it. here is why: - familiarity - if Josh Allen goes down, our season is toast. I know this is true for many teams but not many teams have cap flexibility to add a quality QB. - if healthy Cam is about as good as JA can hope to become. - our roster is ready to compete. I like Josh Allen. He’s proven to be decent to this point. Lots of warts in his game make him a bit of an Unknown in terms of leading a team to a super bowl. Cam Newton health permitted has been an MVP level QB. A few years removed from the MVP seasons but I wouldn’t put it past him just yet to have success. I understand the negatives. And I personally don’t see it happening. But if it did I wouldn’t be too shocked. I also wouldn’t be too shocked to see Cam steal the job if healthy. I feel people have forgotten just how good Cam Newton has been in his career. -
Really liking our depth on o-line. Injuries will likely happen and its nice to have quality options to throw out there.
-
He missed an entire season with a torn MCL. Not surprised his first season back was a struggle. A probowler before the injury. Has the pedigree while still being young enough to bounce back.
-
Wonder how much we spent. Now go get Clowney to put a bow on the offseason.
-
Great move. Would've liked to see a 2 year deal. Gives the oline some solid competition/depth.

I wouldn't be least bit surprised if Cam has a better year than Teddy next season.

Pick 1 FA - Best Bang For The Buck
Iamkrgr replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We really need to improve the offense. Give Allen more options. I'd really like a TE like Hooper. A healthy Hunter Henry would've been really nice but he got tagged. Melvin Gordon could be an interesting buy low if his market isn't what he expected. Robby Anderson is another guy that could prove to be a quality signing depending on money. He seems to have calmed down since his arrest a few years ago. Allen has improved as has his supporting cast. To really see if he has what it takes to get to the next level we need to give him a bit more to work with. Our run game was pretty bad. Our o-line seems to have some continuity and should get some more depth this offseason. We lack a couple of playmakers. A good TE and RB would really open up our offense imo. -
We're really counting on Dawson Knox to develop further if we're signing Olsen. Would be a solid vet signing and probably help Knox quite a bit. For all the people saying to spend on Austin Hooper i think we have a similar one in Knox. Roughly same size, 3rd rounders. Knox had more receiving yards in his rookie year albeit with a far worse catch%. Though having Matt Ryan throw to you in your rookie season might help a bit. How much does Hooper cost in FA? How about Olsen?

Adam Gase and the decision to cut Jordan Phillips

How much he going to cost to resign? He's certainly earned his way into that conversation. -
Depending on the outcome of tomorrows game...AJ Green
Iamkrgr replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not a chance I'd move a 1st for AJ Green at this point. 31, injury history, only this season left on deal. No thanks. He'd be a great fit here. But at that price...nah. -
If the Bills Trade at the Deadline.. What Position?
Iamkrgr replied to elijah's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Diggs would be awesome here. Trent Williams would be equally awesome. Sign me up for both. Von Miller would be pretty cool but I don't see him being moved. -
Our defense has been pretty great. Id like to see more pressure from the ends and figure that will be a target for us next offseason. Lawson and Murphy are good rotation ends but would be nice to have someone with more impact. Good thing with them is you can keep the line fresh without having much drop off in play. Give me a stud pass rusher if possible.

Wow. Horrible start. -
I'm hoping that Feliciano is healthy. He's been a big difference maker for our oline. Nice to see singletary out there.

Oliver currently is #4 in DT Pass Rush Win Rate
Iamkrgr replied to syhuang's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oliver has been pretty good in my view. Creates a bunch of havoc in the pocket. Chases ball carriers well. If this is his floor we should be very happy. I'm stoked to see how he progresses over the next few years as he gets stronger and more experienced. -
Come to BUFFALOOOOO - no one This guy must have CTE or something.

Melvin Gordon seems to be watching Bills Twitter
Iamkrgr replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not going to lie. Beane should try and take advantage of this time that Allen is on a rookie deal. Melvin Gordon would be a hell of an add to this team. He'd add another dynamic to the team we haven't seen in over a decade. Another guy to watch out for could AJ Green. Imagine both? What a complementary group of WRs that would be. Brown- Burner, Beasley- slot, Green- red zone target. Add Gordon to that... Jeez. /Mid daydream
