  1. And he was stuck behind Marquez Callaway, Tre'Quan Smith, Kenny Stills, Lil'Jordan Humphrey, Ty Montgomery so never really got a fair shot...
  2. This would not be a good plan. Neither is more than ST or depth. Bernard can be a nickel LB possibly but has not even been good in coverage despite his size.
  3. Thank you for a reasonable take. I agree - the Chiefs and Bengals are entering free agency/draft much less needy than the Bills and still made a significant move. With the Fins and Jets, with Allen we are still the favorites it is just the margin for error is shrinking to razor-thin as we saw last year. We are a bad Allen game or injury away from losing to either of them. Two years ago the east felt like a cake walk, last year it was a struggle, next year is going to be an even bigger battle.
  4. For $3M...
  5. Dude - Aaron Rodgers to Jets is significant. Taylor to Chiefs is significant. Brown to Bengals is significant. Ramsey and Long to MIA is significant. Those are the 4 teams we are fighting with the most.
  6. The point is put the same QB on every team and where do the Bills stack up? Yes he gets credit for Josh Allen, but what has he built around him? You have the best QB in the league then you should be a Super Bowl contender. Right now the Bills are slipping out of that category.
  7. Rodgers to Jets MIA making a number of upgrades KC and CIN both making significant moves Meanwhile we spend money that could have been used elsewhere on Hines, Harty, Mata, Martin, Lewis, Dotson
  8. We were average and never had a QB. Woeful is an exaggeration.
  9. Hey we have Josh Allen. Who cares about the rest. Just enjoy not sucking. We won some AFC east it’s all gravy the next 10 years. It’s been a fun ride.
  10. This offseason so far has been rough. No sugar coating it.
  11. Yep. And it’s sold as an upgrade positive move.
  12. He is toast. Done. Logic? Guy we have not seen enough to know they are not good is better than guy that used to be good but is not anymore.
  13. Won’t be due to offense. They can all D in the draft if they want. Still have Reader, Pratt and Hendrickson.
  14. They have Chase, Higgins and Boyd with Burrow. Plus a better OL and Mixon. They don’t need upgrades. We do have Allen Diggs, and a bag of chips.
  15. And who is the qb? Josh Allen. If Keenum start we may have been 3-13.
  16. Concern is the $ and how this impacts other signings. We paid him like he is expected to contribute. He had a moderate role in 2021 but other than that not a lot. If it’s only for special times then it is even more concerning.
  17. Yes - if the sane qb plays for the bills, chiefs, 49ers, bengals, eagles we lose to all 4 of them. No question in my mind. Heck I would argue we lose to the jets and fins and many other teams.
  18. I would argue a lot of those drought eta teams could have been contenders with Allen as qb.
  19. Here is what you don’t get about this signing. If this is the guy we target and give this money, why did we not just get Toney at the deadline? We had a need so bad we signed guys off the street. He would have helped last year and be cheaper this year and next. A good GM should be thinking a year out not just reacting which seems like the bills always are.
  20. Better question is - take way Josh Allen and how many teams are we better than? This supporting cast is getting weaker.
  21. For me it’s gone backwards if these moves preclude others. We needed a legit WR. We got Hines, Harty and McK for that price. I would have cut Hines, not signed Harty and gone after one of the wr available. Truly hope so
  22. Only one is impactful. The backup qb is required but hopefully not impactful. The wr is a Hail Mary.
  23. Is it April 1st?
  24. Teams will be fooled. Won’t know which Allen to prep for.
  25. I really hope so. But to me it’s like buying a lotto ticket vs putting in the work. I hope I wrong.
