  1. McD can be def coord. Use the resources to bring in a sr off asst.
  2. First this is false - the highest tax rate is 10% or so. That is not even close to 50%. And that is before all the accounting tricks to pay much less than that. We all have to pay taxes, millionaires pay less % wise than most because they can afford to use tax strategies Second you sound like a Jacka$$ complaining about paying taxes on a $10M/yr contract. Player salaries have gone up so much that average fans cant even go to games anymore and your complaining about taxes. People buying your jerseys pay them too. And a ton of public resources go to having pro sports so if anyone should pay taxes its you.
  3. Draft OL x 2, WR early. Then go safety, DT, Bpa. Sign Devon Bush and Perryman.
  4. Poyer 1000+ snaps before signing Hyde 2500+ snaps before signing Anderson 0 in 2 years Exactly. He is hopefully a low cost special teamer that can possibly get in a snap on D if needed. Best case is he replaces Taiwan Jones role who is strictly ST.
  5. Do the same for Anderson. How many plays on defense does he have? He has less plays than any of our back up safety. Why would anyone think he is even better than Marlowe or Johnson let alone similar to Hyde and Poyer? That is dream land. I would put my money on a rookie over this guy.
  6. This is not even close. Poyer and Hyde were starters on nfl rosters for multiple years. This guy is barely a practice squad player.
  7. I am not mad. Just think its a waste of money. Not a great year to even wasting anything. And after some of the recent decisions this FO has lost some of the grace they had the past few years.
  8. That would be awesome. I would prefer they utilize the limited resources wisely and don't see him as a necessary spend. The guy 6 years at BYU and 3 years with the Chiefs and done nothing. I would rather have a 21-22 yr old UDFA with better pedigree fight for this roster spot than a 26-yr old that has never done it at any level.
  9. Or the UDFA pool that pays the minimum salary and has no salary guarantees. When we are up against the cap every dollar matters. So why waste even a cent on a guy that adds no value.
  10. I am just saying why even waste a penny above league minimum on a guy like this when you can pay the minimum for the same role.
  11. Jokes aside. UDFA. Essentially no stats with chiefs. 6 years at byu - no sacks, 3 int, 5 pass break ups. Why do we need this guy?
  12. You win in the trenches. The special teams trenches. For only a few million when we have no cap space this guy can get us net .00000012356 yards per game over a rookie contact 7th rounder.
  13. Fix OL is slightly above both another WR and new OC (or hire a Asst Head Coach/Offensive Special Asst. if dont want to lose Dorsey). Replacing Edmunds and Poyer is a slight notch after that.
  14. KC drafted Bolton. We tried that and wound up with Bernard and Spector while KC got Bolton and Chenal not to mention Gay and Karlaftis.
  15. KC drafted a superior player in Karlaftis at the same spot this year and he is already better than our pick at the same spot last year in Rousseau. KC drafted a CB before us in the 1st and one in the 7th. Both are better than our CB taken in the first. KC drafted a RB in the 7th that is better than the one we took in the 2nd. KC drafted the better LB later in the 3rd than us.
  16. Compare this to the chiefs just the past 3 seasons: 2022 McDuffie - A Karlaftis - A Moore - B Cook - B Chenal - B Williams - B Kinnard - C Watson - A Pacheco - A Johnson - C 2021 Bolton - A Humphrey - A Kaindoh - F Gray - B Powell - D Smith - A 2020 Edwards-Halaire - B Gay -A Niang - C Sneed - A Danna - A Keyes - F
  17. Elam is the only one that would get more than a 6th/7th. Then you are basically replacing them with a similar player.
  18. And slot with jarvis landry. All problems solved. Beane can go on vacation until august.
  19. OBJ again unofficially a Bill starting in 3, 2, 1
  20. Coming from your # 1 WR - does the below sound like the Offense had a good solid plan? STEFON DIGGS: Yeah, I mean, at times, yes. Throughout this year, it was a crazy year, especially for us. I felt like it was a little weird dynamic because the first nine games, we had like a real formula and recipe on how we were winning. And then that last iteration towards the back end, we kind of were just figuring out ways to win, which wasn't bad for us but kind of got us away from what we were consistently doing. So for me, I feel like at times, yeah. And then other times, we kind of got away from it. So we carried that same team in the playoffs, know what I'm saying? So that playing left-handed or figuring out ways to win, it's not necessarily a bad spot, but you're not necessarily back to being who you built to be an identity throughout the season. So we definitely had success, a lot of success. I feel like there was more out there for us because-- especially with that last game and how it ended. We had a lot more football to play, but back to the drawing board, I guess.
  21. Here is my issue with the OL / WR argument. I agree that is an issue and needs to be fixed. However, the job of the coaches is to adjust. Our staff not only fails way to often to adjust to other teams. The offense especially failed to adjust to itself. Good coaching can adjust to the strengths of the team. I dont think this staff knew how to do that. Its a stubbornness or ignorance to make even subtle adjustments. Instead they try to be overly creative with new stuff that rarely worked. Its not complicated - our OL cant block maybe throw in more short quick stuff. Utilize screens to keep the D honest. WR's cant get separation - use more crossing and pick routes. No we stick with up and go's or everyone run deep that not only requires wr to get open on their own but the OL to protect. Instead we use our TE and RB to block more which makes us easier to defend.
  22. I think he needs a year off as a back up like Tribusky. Year in BUF with only snaps in pre-season and blowouts and he can sign a big deal the following year.
  23. May not be the proper forum. But since we are talking coaches. With all the Bills success on both sides of the ball the past several years now do you find it odd we dont lose more coaches? Daboll is the only that has left for a head coach. We have lost very few assistants that receive bump in titles elsewhere. Could it be the NFL does not think highly of the Bills staff and system?
