  1. So it’s even worse? Small, 4.48 guy, with injury history, limited numbers in a pass happy offense that gets creative, and we pay guaranteed money.
  2. Yeah but this how injuries typically work. When guys start getting banged up in their 30’s it generally gets worse not better. I love Hyde and Poyer as a tandem. It’s just at this point you need solid back ups. We don’t have anyone I trust on this roster and I can’t bank on them playing every week. So confused by this move.
  3. Just a realistic expectation given age and recent history. Both were beaten up last year. Hyde is still an unknown.
  4. It feels like another one of these moves that will backfire. Either will be hurt or McD won’t trust. And I thought drafting both Stevenson and Shakir both were addressing the return game. Both McK and Hines can be return guys. Seems like another luxury move that does not address the glaring holes.
  5. Him and Hyde will miss games next year. And only have a couple years left. We need depth.
  6. Don’t get this one. We have money to Hines and now sign this guy while we have huge needs. Also prioritized a lot of other ST guys. We still need OL, WR, RB, TE, LB, CB,S…
  7. Hopefully it’s a cap friendly deal - $4-5m cap hit this year, going up next but with option to cut. My guy tells me he misses a lot of games next year. No longer playing for a next contract…
  8. Don’t get me started. The “tampering window”. Just call it what it is. Who cares if the deal is not official.
  9. Has there been a more depressing start to free agency? At least when the bills sucked there would be some effort. This year it has been let’s resign all the guys that are marginal players or ones we should actually be cutting to save $.

  11. You forgot the zayne Anderson signing..,
  12. Wish they looked at David Long. 2 years/$11m is a good deal.
  13. In many ways cap gets worse the next two years. Allen and Miller are actually cheap this year but more the next two. We barely beat CLE and DET…
  14. Because it’s more likely good team - good coaching - good special teams. Less spend money - good special teams. I played through college and yes some guys are better at special teams. But we are talking 32 teams. You can’t tell me that you can’t find a good special team guy can’t also be a decent back up lb or db. I don’t line spending the money on a guy you would not put on the field.
  15. Rolling it back less Edmunds, Poyer, Frazier...
  16. I think good ST statistics can often be good coaching more than spending money. That is why you may see Super Bowl winners with good special team stats.
  17. I don’t value it is correct. But I also don’t see what makes him better than an avg guy at his job. He can’t even fill in on D if needed.
