A good 3 is what Davis does. He can catch zero passes in a game and it does not hurt you. You are not relying on him to be a threat every play. When your 1 is doubled and tripled he does not need to become the go to receiver. He will catch a long TD here, a big 1st down there. FYI Mahomes averages about 3-4 runs game and I dont think anyone considers him a running qb.

Its about smart running. Taking off and getting out of bounds. Not taking hits. Rolling out and taking off for the yards if they are there, throwing it away if not.

A few comments: 1. Last years team was rolling with 400+ yards in every game but 1. They had ~500+ in 2. This year they only have 400 yds in 2 of the six and never snifffed 500. 2. These stats ignore that Knox, McK, and Davis all missed a game. So your comparing guys with 6 games with guys with 5 games. 3. Yards - Despite all the targets/receptions yards matter. All had a lot more yards last year - 300+ more yards. You can throw know 100 1 yd passes and say how he is having an amazing year with 100 receptions, but if its for 125 yards who cares.

Hopeful he will be again. Last two weeks we are better with aje than Von. Von is just running upfield 5 yards. Having no impact on the game at all.
