  1. Go ahead, get Jewell and Purcell. Sign Suh as well. Then trade a pick or Elam if you have any takers for one of the best WR available - Hopkins, Jeudy, Thielen, whoever you can get.
  2. Cant believe it was not only a first round pick but we gave a 4th to move up 2 spots for him? So Dallas would not pick him? Meanwhile McBeane would not "waste" a 4th on trading for a player at the deadline.
  3. Not to mention we suck at ST despite all the emphasis. Would be better not waste resources on it and kick it out of the end zone and find a punter who can kick to the sidelines.
  4. Most likely or just a swap of late rounders - like 6th and Elam for a 5th. Pointless if you ask me, I would only do it for another player a team is looking to unload.
  5. Been a scratch most other weeks so don't think it means anything. But would be nice if it is - for a player not a pick.
  6. Interesting...would like to see Diggs, Davis, Harty, Kincaid, Isabella in a 5 wide set. Kincaid down the seem, Davis and Harty deep, Diggs and Isabella running across the field.
  7. They need to go fast and go 5 wide with short quick passes
  8. No they were 2-3 then 3-4 before finishing 12-5. Big difference is they were not losing to 1-5 teams.
  9. Realistic best case: We beat TB, CIN, DEN, NYJ, DAL, LAC, NE, MIA We lose to PHI, KC, Finish at 12-5 Realistic worst case: We beat TB, DEN, NYJ, LAC, NE We lose to CIN, PHI, KC, DAL, MIA Finish at 9-8 (lose one of those "easy" games like LAC, NYJ and its 8-9 or even 7-10...ouch
  10. I like chicken, I like liver, meow mix, meow mix, please deliver
  11. I am still high on Kincaid. But the expectations need to be tempered. He has shows to be capable pass catcher that can get open in the zone. He is reliable and catches the balls he should. He has not show that he can beat guys one on one. That he can dominate a defender and make contested catches. That he can run people over or juke people after the catch. Not to say some of this wont change. But as of now he is a solid reliable target that get you you some short yardage vs the zone.
  12. You get 5 years of starting from a draft pick I would say its ok. Most teams are drafting guys and getting a full 15 years of a career like in the old days. Most of the guys in this draft were starters for a number of years. Careers are not lasting 10+ years anymore.
  13. I just read this interview with Josh: ”Josh Allen just needs to be Josh Allen and he will be fine. Because when Josh Allen is is Josh Allen no one is a better Josh Allen. Others may try to be Josh Allen but they are not the same. Well that Josh Allen in Jacksonville, he is a Josh Allen but a different Josh Allen. Now I’m getting confused what was the question? I have been thinking too much. I just need to slow down and be a slower Josh Allen but not a slower moving Josh Allen. No not that either. Wait, I got to go you guys are confusing me.”
  14. It all starts with Diggs and Kelce. And Kelce is a better one guy to have as he is more difficult to shut down. I would argue Pacheco, Rice, and Moore have more upside than Cook, Davis, Shakir. MVS and Hardman are better than Sherfield and Harty.
  15. The better question is put Allen with another coach or other weapons…
  16. We have one wr in Diggs and a rookie te that is more like a big wr, that is still unknown but desirable given his draft position . The other guys are jags like the rest of the league already has.
  17. What is the obsession with names that we know that have done nothing...
  18. Super bowl. No need for Suh, Simmons, or anyone else now.
  19. Contracts are prorated and the cap hit is lower after signing bonuses are taken into account.
