Unpopular take because Allen is the best player on the field. But there is something up. Whether its Brady and the talent around him or Allen himself its hard to say...chicken or egg sort of thing. But Allen is doing things he hasnt done for a long time. Taking 18 yard sacks, throwing balls where he cant see, missing easy throws because either his clock is off or his feet are. What I am wondering is if Allen is not putting in the work on non game days. Is he studying the same way he has the past few years that allowed him to recognize and adjust the plays or OL calls? Is his body, while still a beast, not as able to break tackles and out run guys because he has scaled back some of the extra work? We dont know that stuff.

And essentially getting a clean get off because we continue to hike the ball at 1 on the play clock. When the edges are just jumping the count you have to switch it up. This is a freaking basic concept but Brady will not adjust.

I dont think they can fire him at this point uintil the off-season. My hope is maybe they can hire an special asst to the offense or something along those lines. No idea who that person could be but an other brain getting involved in this O is desperately needed.

Every day it is more and more clear that if not for Allen McBeane would not have lasted more than a few seasons.

Sadly this year will go down as a huge blown opportunity. The AFC is wide open as ever when you have KC, BAL, and CIN all just fighting for playoff spots. The #1 seed was there for the taking and this team has lost to 3 teams not even in the playoffs. The schedule is so easy that we have only played two teams currently in the playoffs. The trade deadline was a complete failure as it was obvious the team needed reinforcements. Beane and his ego refuse to admit he has any flaws in the roster he built. He celebrates getting his home grown mediocre players re-signed. We have coaches that cannot adjust or just make the same mistakes over and over. It is trickling down to the players who most of the time barely have a pulse. Josh is starting to look like he would rather be somewhere else than a football field, and you cant blame him. Josh will never say it but I think he is frustrated with the scheme, talent and decisions being made around him. I dont know where we go from here. Sometimes it feels like they are just trying to get to the new stadium and there is no urgency. I have heard life is more than football more times than I care to hear.

The players don’t look to be having any fun. Maybe it’s rubbing off on fans.

Not sure how confident I am that this team can beat Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, New England, or Philadelphia. Missing playoffs is a possibility.

And we were still hiking the ball at close to zero seconds on every play. Did they really think they don’t need the clock in this game?

Wow. Just a few huge plays have saved us in this game. 95% of everything else has been awful.

It’s either Brady or Allen. This has been happening all year long. They showed us that earlier that Allen was only sacked three times in one game all last season. This is already the sixth time.

The bills will make you think that. Guy has like 300 yards on 100 carries vs everyone else.
