Not saying that. Just highlighting on paper which appear to be the most likely result. Obviously anything can happen. No one would have predicted that we lose to NJY, NE and DEN. Point is we need the unexpected more than other teams do. Exactly. We need some luck to squeak in.
-
What is most likely to happen: 1. BUF - win at least 5 vs NYJ, @PHI, @KC, DAL, @LAC, NE, @MIA 2. MIA - win at least 5 vs LVR, @NYJ, @WAS, TEN, NYJ, DAL, @BAL, BUF 3. PIT - win at least 4 vs @CLE, @CIN, AZ, NE, @IND, CIN, @SEA, @BAL 4. CLE - win at least 4 vs PIT, @DEN, @LAR, JAX, CHI, @HOU, NYJ, @CIN 5. HOU - win at least 5 VS AZ, JAX, DEN, @JAX, @TEN, CLE, TEN, @IND 6. IND - win at least 5 VS TB, @TEN, @CIN, PIT, @ATL, LVR, HOU

This is actually bad for the Bills. Makes life easier for PIT, CLE, INDY. We needed teams to split games with each other to help get in. If CIN falls out of the picture it helps teams ahead the Bills.

Feels like they are throwing in the towel for a better draft pick. Sucks we just lost to them...then the broncos...and the Jets, Pats, and Jags...

Seems clear McD has lost the locker room. Only thing that can fix that is winning. They dont win then he needs to go at the end of the season. Cant go into the offseason with a guy nobody wants to play for.
-
There is a lot of scheme stuff that needs to be fixed. But a mindset shift needs to take place. Not sure if McD can handle it though. For whatever reason McD has come to a place that he would rather win 20-10 than 42-35. This has led to the conservative, complementary football or whatever you want to call it approach. He wants to play the time of possession game rather than the uptempo get as many plays off as you can game. He does not like scoring in 2 minutes and would rather drag it out. This is O and I dont think this league is built like that. I think the MIA game is a good example, as I believe McD felt he could not stop MIA from scoring so was willing to go full throttle with the O. We saw the result. We need to get back to that. The slow, time of possession game can be played in the handful of games that we wind up with second half blowouts.

Lost in the shuffle has been Chad Hall leaving. Not mentioned much anymore.

Brady has never been in the same place longer than two years...

I will say this and then drop it: The original post to start this thread was" With Josh's mishandling of the ball on hand offs , it makes me wonder if he has numbness in hands because dropping the ball twice while handing it off should just not happen, thats pee wee level stuff. Maybe he's getting pain killer shots thats making it difficult to feel the ball , could also explain his errant throws ?? I replied to the thread with the below because it is my opinion that its a reach to say injuries are the issue with Josh. Its looking for an excuse. Josh throws the ball 1 million miles an hour - crickets Josh throws a bad pass - it must be his shoulder You chose to respond to my post with an insult and a factually wrong post as the original post said could explain his bad throws too: He dropped a handoff twice. Reading comprehension goes a long way That is what started the whole exchange between the two of us. You got it wrong from the start. The thread started with numbness in Josh hands is causing him to mishandled and drop balls, and also explain errant throws. I disagree with that. You turned that into I have bad reading comprehension.

Oh yes I have noticed. I am hopeful it is more of a scheme issue than an Allen issue. That is a much easier problem to fix...the alternative I would rather not think about.
-
Whatever makes you feel better. Small part? Ok...Most players around the league are playing with a nagging injury. So every mistake any player makes is a small part due to injury? Josh leads the league in turnovers over his career...must be the nagging injuries playing a small part.
-
One of the worst calls I have ever seen.
-
I am just calling it as a reaching excuse. Mistakes happen. It happened injury or no injury. The whole premise of this thread is to try and say injuries are playing a part in Allen's struggles. I just think that is bs.

Sounds more like he is everything Dorsey was before we saw what Dorsey was. Or maybe its what Dorsey became with McD in his ear. Hoping Brady is an actual interim and we finally hire a real OC. Dorsey was not ready and I dont think Brady is either. But maybe he will surprise me. He was essentially Dorsey right hand man and Allen coach the past two years and we have seen a steady decline. Fresh blood seems like what is needed.

Ok I give up. The fumbled hand off was 100% on his injured shoulder. Josh Allen the superhero do no wrong could never fumble a ball unless dealing with an injury and nerve damage. All the bad passes he throws to are due to the brain damage he has suffered and since I dont have brain damage I wont try to say its not possible.
-
Ok so his shoulder injury allows him to throw the ball a million miles an hour 40 times a game but he can’t hand it off? One mishandled hand off is an injury not just him making a mistake. Good take.

Difference is the record and games remaining of both the Bills and teams they need to catch.

$2.5M dead cap if we cut our punter...

Watched Dorsey pack up his box and offered him a flight home with them as a thank you for the gift he handed them. They waited a bit longer expecting McD as well but decided to roll out.

Will a win over the Jets to get to 6-5 bring everyone back in?!?!

What 4 games is MIA losing? -
You mean a 17 yard punt?

Field goal at halftime for DEN...how do the Bills not try to slow that play down. No time outs and the completion over the middle no Bills players stay on top of the receiver and essentially allow him and the DEN team sprint off the field. They barely get the FG off with 3 seconds left. How does every Bills player near the tackle not get on the pile and at least slow them down a bit...only needed a few seconds. Ryan and Marrone had more talent than McD? EJ Manuel, Kyle, Orton and Taylor throwing the ball to Scott Chandler, Sammy Watkins, Charles Clay, Robert Woods...

We can only hope Tua gets hurt like last year and MIA stumbles. They lose to us, DAL, BAL and we still need to get to 11-6. Which means we can only lose one of the KC, PHI, DAL, LAC games and have to win NYJ, NE, MIA.
