  1. They are still on bye week. Sine if the guys wanted an extended trip.
  2. Or we would have Laporta. They could have either traded Cook or used some the RB money spent to acquire the G. They would still have the pick used to trade up for Kincaid for Williams or similar. So McCafrey, Laporta and still the ability to get your Torrence and Williams level players.
  3. You must have missed the memo. Only the Bills are impacted by injuries. All Bills players can switch positions and go from being a bench player to all pro. Bills are better than all teams that beat them and have better record than them. Bills get better by losing starters. Bills have bad luck. Other teams just suck. Every Bills will be amazing if they become a starter next year, is terrible if the Bills dont resign.
  4. Rodgers - After his first year as a starter he was in the playoffs 8 straight years. He got hurt and then they missed the playoffs when he was 34 years old. From 26 to 33 he was in the playoffs every year. He was then back in two conference championships in his late 30's.
  5. At least he didnt go to an afc team
  6. As many others have said a year in the books is a negative. Its wasting JA in his prime years and the number of aging starters greatly outweighs our ability to replace them. I dont think there are any positives that outweigh that. And to address the specific positives mentioned most have a flip side. Kincaid - He looks like a legit starting TE. However, we have yet to see the true game changing potential. Right now he is short target getting a lot of check downs. That is not a game breaker. Add in Knox is under contract adds in to the mix here. And they actually used Knox as more of a game breaker which is odd. Bernard - I am not as high on Bernard. He can be a decent complementary LB. I dont see him being a long term guy that we sign to a second contract. Cook - Cook reminds me of the CJ Spiller experiment. We see flashes and hear the talk of his skillset. Yet he is used sparingly for large chunks of time and never used the way he is sold. He is likely gone after his rookie deal. Brown - 100% disagree. I think they look to upgrade and he is a non-starter next year. Cyrus - So far so good. Shakir - JAG. Will have a decent 3-5 catch game and then 0 catch for a few weeks. Not a building block. Davis - Needing to replace his is not a positive as it will require big resources either an early draft pick or FA money. Oliver - Has looked good except for the occasional bonehead penalty. He is a building block of the D.
  7. Win keeps hope alive. Lose and its essentially season over because we would need a lot of help. Just the amount of games the teams ahead us have vs each other guarantees some of these teams rack up wins. Unless they lose to non-contenders or 1-2 of them win out, too many teams get to 10-11 wins and we lose most tiebreakers. Thats why our playoff odds are 15-25% based on the logic.

  9. Charges are very rarely brought when a victim backs out. Sadly its the reality in these situations.
  10. This is likely going away. She is already saying it was a misunderstanding and no one was assaulted.
  11. https://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2023/11/30/23981553/eagles-film-analysis-all-22-defense-takeaways-bills-game-james-bradberry-sean-desai-jalen-carter-nfl Lots of Josh Allen love. McD is wasting the best player in the league.
  12. There are definitely some plays that make you g wtf. Him running straight up field like 20 yards past the qb. Chasing a guy slower than linval. Tackling the center on a fake hand off. But most plays its just a 5 yard dance with blocker.
  13. Who leads the Bills in passes defended...AJE with 7. Von Miller has 2 tackles, no sacks, 3 pressures, 1 qb hit in 163 snaps. Kingsley J in comparison has 68 snaps and has 4 tackles, 5 pressures and 2 qb hits. Sherfield has 100 more offensive snaps than Harty 231 to 129. Likely due to blocking. Combined the 2 have 20 catches. Shakir has 25 catches. What stats you got?
  14. Thats the game you play. If you do it right you are matching years with high cap hits with guys coming off the books.
  15. Here you go. #'s are per Sportrac: Allen Restrux - $18M Diggs Restrux - $14M Miller Restrux -$13M That alone gets from negative cap space to $3M in space. Tre restrux or cutting him gets another $5-6M Knox restrux gets $3M Milano restrux gets $2.7M A bunch of other restrux on guys like Bass, Bates, McG, etc can add up to another $5-10M. So before even cutting guys I got to over $20M in space. Now if you cut Harty and Hines that is another $10M. So with only losing Harty and Hines we have $30M in space. Cut deep and get rid of guys like Hyde, Power, Morse, Johnson then we could be north of $50M but better have some replacemnts. Never as bad as it seems...
  16. Miller has more hits on his girlfriend than QB's this year. Well that assumes he got in at least two blows.
  17. Rules say they can practice Mon-Wed and then get the rest of the week off. If Von is in DAL those days either he or the entire team did not practice.
  18. What comes to mind is why is he in Dallas still? Is the team not practicing all week? Do key players decide to not practice? That would explain a lot of how this season has gone.
  19. Better question is if they play well on offense do they hire Brady as OC? My hope is that have higher aspirations and bring in a more experienced and creative OC. Brady can stay on QB coach and be groomed to be an OC.
  20. Next game tells us nothing. This team could go 5-0 or 0-5. They could go beat KC and DAL then lose LAC and NE. There have not been many games this season that the team has lived up to the expectations.
  21. In nearly all the tough losses you can point to decisions by McD. The most recent you have the all out blitz in Denver. Then the last game the 20 seconds decision and the TO's used. Its odd because the Denver move is being overaggressive when he did not have to be. Then the PHI is being overly conservative. He seems to lack situational awareness and make bad decisions under pressure. Hence the abnormally high losses in close games. When the pressure is on McD folds.
