Pitts, Likely, Njoku- all downfield td passes today. That is what I want to see Kincaid do.
-
Well CIN plays PIT and CLE so those are games one of the teams should and will win. So CLE beats CIN they only need two wins vs CHI, NYJ, HOU and JAC. That is very doable. So PIT beats CIN they only need two wins vs IND, SEA, BAL. Possible especially if BAL is resting guys the last week. They lose to IND now IND only needs two vs CIN, ATL, LVR and HOU. That is very likely especially if you think CIN loses. Just one vs ATL or LVR gets 10.

Dont see it. That would mean: HOU has TEN twice and and NYJ, CLE, IND. I think they get to 10 easy. Losses to IND and CLE help them get to 10. IND has CIN, PIT, ATL. LVR, HOU. They need three and losses to HOU, CIN, PIT help those teams get to 10. CLE has JAC (No T Lawrence), CHI, HOU, NYJ, CIN. Again they lose to CIN, HOU, JAC help those teams get to 10. PIT has IND, CIN, SEA, BAL. They lose to IND, CIN they are helping those teams and win they are closer themselves. CIN has IND, MIN, PIT, KC, CLE - same as PIT. They beat IND, PIT and CLE and they may get to 10 wins, lose and each of those teams adds another win. JAC most losable games is CLE without T Lawrence. They will get 2 wins vs TB, CAR, TEN, BAL. DEN and LAC are least likely to get to 10. But they play each other twice so one of them is at 7. If DEN sweeps they need 2 more vs LVR, DET, NE...its possible. If LAC sweeps they need 3 vs LVR, BUF, KC...unlikely. Just too many teams at 7 wins already. For 3 to not get to 10 it would take a lot of splitting games and losing to some bad teams while beating good ones. Most likely JAC and HOU get to 10. If CLE wins this week they likely get to 10. Then between IND, PIT, CIN, DEN I think more than one of them gets there too. So BUF needs to get to 11.

If Allen was his qb yes

To the he took a loser franchise and turned it around crowd. The Bills were rarely a loser franchise. During the 17 years of the draught they won at least 6 games 14 times. They won 7 games 9 times. They were essentially a slightly below average football team. Look at the list of QB's during that time period and ask yourself if you swap Allen for that guy what happens? Was it the coaching or is it Allen?

Or did we just play bad teams so should have won bye or no bye. I would vote not better prepared or better rested. Just the better team.

This is not a jab at Kincaid but I want to see more from him. The Bills are using him a safety valve more often than a down the field threat. He has been better the last few games. But I am not overly impressed at seeing him catch a two yard pass and go down. I want to see him downfield catching balls past the sticks, I know he can do it. Just watch the tape from college. The truth is on 90% of his catches the way the Bills have used him it could be Q Morris or most NFL level TE's catching a quick dump off. That is not why we made him a first round pick.

We all now McD does not like to make adjustments...just look at the 3rd and 4th quarters of games. In all seriousness. I get wanting to keep routine. But I would have had the guys come in at least Monday or Tuesday wince they had all of last week off. With the CBA they could not have extra practices with pads but could have had extra prep days. This team has looked unprepared a number of times this year so I wonder at times if they spend enough time prepping. How many times have we heard/seen miscommunication or not being on the same page. True and not true. The team does have the ability to practice during the bye week and chose not to. They also have flexibility over practices, but not over practice days with pads and length of practices. -
Will miss enough time to give CLE the win in one of the few they could lose, but back to still get to 11 wins.

Calling it now: Bills are going to at least reach the AFCCG

Winning all 5 vs KC, DAL, LAC, NE, MIA in itself is daunting. Then needing some games to go our way makes it extra daunting. I am not saying it cant or wont happen but there is a reason the Bills playoff chances are at 20%. HOU and CLE basically control their own destiny with easy schedules. HOU can win out but has wiggle room to lose game to IND or CLE. CLE can lose to HOU and just needs to beat CIN in its final game. PIT and IND will get a win vs each other and if that winner gets the 3 easy wins they are in. So we need teams to lose games they should win. It happens all the time so I am hopeful. A win this week wont change much, but a loss and we are done. -

So your saying MIA will still win the division. In 2021 we benefited from NE flopping and going 1-3 down the stretch to give us the division. That means the Bills are passing some combo of CLE, PIT, CIN, HOU, JAC, IND, DEN? Well in 2021, CLE finished 1-3, BAL finished 0-6, Indy went 0-2, and LAC went 1-3. We just need that to happen again I guess. -
FYI - CBA says 4 consecutive days off in bye week. The Bills could have practiced any of the Mon-Wed days and had rest of the week off.

Kneel Down Game: Final Nail in McD’s Coach Coffin
ngbills replied to Thrivefourfive's topic in The Stadium Wall
What if he throws an interception in OT? What is the difference? Why not at least try a running play? At least going for it with 20 seconds the Bills knew they had a chance. Not only did McD not take the chance he risked losing the coin toss and the Bills could have never even got the ball in OT. He felt safer with a 50-50 coin flip than running 3 plays on offense. -
Hearing from a little bird that practice resumes Wednesday...that is a long break.

The team took this bye week thing serious. I have not seen or heard any updates since after the game last week. Any word on when they are practicing, providing media updates, injury reports, etc?

They may be done practicing for the year. It has been a while. Gave them the optional days off last week and have yet to practice this weeks from all accounts thus far. -

And if it were not for the dumb pass by Browning they had a good shot. Allen at QB and they are getting to FG range. -
Problem is with so many teams ahead of us there are a lot wins going around when those teams play each other. I dont see 10 wins being enough: Jax only needs 2 wins (ends with TB, Car, Ten) Cle only needs 3 wins (Jax next week and then needs 2 vs Chi/NYJ; Losses to CIN and HOU give them wins) Hou needs 3 wins (Cle is one and then needs 2 vs NYJ/Ten twice; Loss to Colts give them 1) Ind needs3 wins (Hou is 1 and then need 2 vs ATL/LVR; Losses to CIN and PIT would give them each 1) Cin needs 4 wins (Ind is 1, Cle is 2; Need 2 vs MIN/PIT/KC. Loss to PIT gives them 1) Pit needs 3 wins (CIN is 1, Ind is 2; Need 1 vs NE/SEA/BAL). Den needs 4 wins vs LAC twice/DET/NE/LVR Bottom line is that a lot has to go right to get in. Even 11 and we could be out. At 11-6 and all likely favorites win the Bills are out.

I got beat up so much over my take that Harty and Sherfield are not an upgrade from McK, Crowder and whoever. Many said we have the best WR room in the league. That Kincaid was going to be running seams all day long. -
That took 6 secs…bills would still have 14.

That will be the slap in the face when cin score with 26 secs.
