Not all NFL rules make sense but how is a horse collar tackle illegal but grabbing a guy by the hair is not? Face mask is illegal but grabbing by the hair is not? Makes no sense if the rule is out of concern for player safety.

The thing abut Tyrod is somehow he keeps games close or its just random. Go look at his gamelog and most of his games are close. Actually most of his blowouts came with McD.

This. He was really not that good in preseason. Watch the games and dont just look at the numbers. He was throwing easy passes with base defenses etc. The fans may not be expected to know better but coaches should.

I think its stubbornness. McD has an ego and wants to be right. When he benched Tyrord last year he took a lot of slack. He is bent on proving people right and refuses to close the door on that. Its time to cut the cord and let him go.

Peterman is a late round draft pick that should not even be on an NFL roster.

Worst player to put on any uniform. It is scary how stubborn they are to admit they whiffed on him. Put him on the practice squad if you dont want to fully admit it. But to keep putting him out there is unfair to the other players, the fans and even to Nate.

I am starting to feel like the guys are keeping Peterman around because it makes Allen look better. Seriously, you throw Peterman out there and then Allen looks like a HOFer.

Def trying to be positive. He has not looked good. When people say "he made some nice throws" that is setting the bar way too low. Go watch any level of football and lots of guys make some good throws. It is obviously way to early to make a final judgement on the guy. But if your being honest he is way behind many rookie qb's that are forced to start early. He actually looks a bit like Kaep in his first year or tow with less athleticism.

K Benjamin just looks done out there. Mentally and physically. He has no speed. He drops passes. He wants to go down immediately after a catch. I think its part physical. He has lost a step or more and cannot do what he used to. He also seems checked out mentally. Maybe he has the attitude "my QB's cant get the ball to me so why try". Remember this is the guy that said if not for Cam he would have put up better numbers. Do you cut the cord now?

I hope this all changes. But thus far: Allens best quality is his heart and toughness. But otherwise there is a lot to be desired. His passing skills to this point are inferior to EJ Manuel at this stage. That is the truth. EJ was also 2-2 after 4 games.

Yes he looks lost at times. I can accept that. His presence when he is under pressure looked ok last week but was awful this week. I can handle that too. What I am most concerned with is the accuracy issues. He will still just flat out miss some throws. I am hopeful he gets better, but sometimes if that is the report on the guy it just is what it is.

Ivory - He is a serviceable player. But in today's NFL RB's are a dime a dozen. So I would suggest we are overpaying for a the type of production we get out of him. Though dont hate what he brings to the table. But look around the league - Breida, AP, Lindsay, Mixon, J Howard, and on and on. Half or more of the top 10 rushers are randoms making $1M or less.

So the first year its because the QB. But this year its called doing well? He is basically putting up the same numbers as last year and no dropped game winning pass like last year. Lets keep it real. He did not play well last year and has not this year. QB does not matter.
