  1. Stole a laptop. Dad was busted trying to get paid by whatever school he chose - think he was asking for $100K. No one knows how much Cam and his dad actually got paid but most believe they did.
  2. Not sure what it will cost. But do you have to try?
  3. He was never a top prospect....
  4. That was Nix QB remember (since it didnt work out)
  5. That was Russ Brandon job. Whaley was good at some things and not good at others. Especially not good at building a full roster. Better suited for scouting role.
  6. I think it is human nature or maybe just the nature of message board posters. But the current regime always has a plan, is doing things right, etc. We make excuses for them and say be patient. We blame past regimes that we used to say the same things about. Once they are gone they sucked and we are lucky to be rid of them. The new regime has to fix all of their mistakes. Nix inherited a mess and was incredible. Then he sucked and Whaley had to clean up his mess because he actually sucked. Then Whaley was a god and was just stuck with bad coaches. Now Whaley was horrendous just look at all the players he brought in. The new guys have to get rid of them all because he was so bad. It was Ralph''s fault. No it was all Russ Brandon. Overdorf is the one. On and on. Cycle repeat.
  7. Dont you get it. Its not what they actually do on the field that counts. Its what they could do or you think they could do. And the Bills drafted him so he is obviously better.
  8. Buffalo Bills general manager Doug Whaley saw Stanford quarterback Kevin Hogan and Cal quarterback Jared Goff on back-to-back days last week for their respective pro-day workouts. Goff is considered a potential top-10 pick, while Hogan's draft party might drag into Day 3 (Rounds 4-7). That speaks more to overall talent than the learning curve each faces at the pro level, though. Where the latter is concerned, Whaley gives the nod to Hogan, not only over Goff, but over any quarterback in the draft -- at least as it pertains to the Bills. "Is Hogan the most pro ready?" Whaley said on Monday at the NFL Annual Meeting in Boca Raton, Fla., according to The Post-Standard. "I would say for us probably because he runs the same system we run. For everybody else, I can't say that."
  9. Yep - not a "bumpy ride" for these guys. A ton of success in that draft. You have basically 4 guys with 4K rec yards. In 2015 you only have Amari Cooper on track for that. In 2016 only Michael Thomas. Only D Hopkins from the 2013 draft did it.

  11. Yet he still threw for under 200 or less yds in all three of his starts. Dalton only did that once that season.
  12. One a positive note - look at the guys picked ahead of Zay. I think Davis, Williams and Ross were all top 10 picks and did not do jack.
  13. Yeah I remember that game his rookie year when he caught for like 250 yards in one game. Everyone called him a bust. And in that second year when he had like 5 150 yard games. What a bust. To put that in perspective Zay had like 300 yds all year...
  14. Allen at 12 Evans at 22 Get those two guys with no trades I take it.
  15. We didnt sign him - he is gonna suck or will get hurt. We did sign him - Awesome move Beane, trust the process.
  16. Which is why they are going another direction. My point is AJM has done nothing to show he is any better. To say, he couldn't do worse is absurd. Go watch the Peterman start again. You would likely be saying the same thing about him - he cant do any worse than 56 yards passing...but oh wait, worst half ever by a QB...
  17. For the money it makes sense. But to say AJM is a better QB is an unknown. I am not that high on AJM as the starter but dont mind him as the back up. SO hopefully we never find out if he is better than Tyrod. However they just passed on AJM for zero picks and $10M less...
  18. Which would be the definition of a bad situation. That it is a question mark.
  19. These claims make no sense. Lets pick one guys worse game and say this guy could have done better. This is pointless but AJM threw for less than 200 yards in 2 of his 3 (66%) starts in 2015. Tyrod threw for less in only 5 of his 13 (38%) starts in 2015.
  20. Primary Roles Players job: Give it your all on the field, be a good teammate, be a positive member in the community Coaches job: Prepare the team to succeed, develop players to reach potential, make player, strategy and game decisions. Front office job: Set the roster including selection of players and contracts. Assessing teams needs and short term and long team strategy of roster. Why do people express hate and blame on Taylor. He did his job. You could argue the coaches did not always put him in the best position to succeed, The front office did not provide the best roster. Or the front office and coaches should not have relied on TT. Those were other people decisions not TT. Blame them, nit the player. I could get it if he was some clown being lazy, getting into trouble or otherwise letting the other guys down. That is 100% not the case with him.
  21. What are you saying then. Clearly the Bills and other NFL teams did not give up on TT early last season. How many millions are spent on scouting and guys still get it wrong. You can watch every second and have every piece of analysis and still get it wrong.
  22. Its called denial. Well some used to say 3 full years as a starter with no competition for his job. Remember the EJ debates...
  23. The results were bad - dont even need to list it out. The eye test was bad - not nearly enough zip on his ball, very deliberate with his throws, lack of presence under pressure. Expectations - the guy was a late round pick. There is no giving up because there was no real expectations in the first place. This is not a former #1 pick. This guy has no similarity to a Manning, Elway, etc. Every guy in a grocery store that used to play college ball could be a Kurt Warner...maybe we should grab 20 ex college QB's out of the game and fill are roster with them so not to give up too early on them.
  24. By all accounts Bills OL was ranked towards the bottom. This is with or without Tyrod. But having a mobile QB did not make the OL look better, but it was helpful in many cases in avoiding sacks.
