  1. Yes. The stats are comparable. Both have caught over 500 yds three times. Have around same catches and yards. Similar size and age. Play style is different but not a huge difference in what your getting in my opinion. Both guys that can be decent contributors but neither is a game changer. Role guys that can put up ok numbers if used appropriately.
  2. Reality check. We were a awful team last year. We signed some average to above average guys. We will get a c+/b rating on free agency. But we are still a ways away. Good thing is anything can happen in this Nfl.
  3. Odd's are they will be way better? You can always say that after a failure. But there is no reason you cant continue to fail. Beasley and Brown and Kroft could all easily bomb just as bad. If we were talking Antonio Brown or had traded for AJ Green/Julio Jones then I give you the odds are better case. But the odds are the same if you ask me.
  4. Uninformed? Jones = Jones. KB people were expecting him to return to form and be the guy in CAR a few years prior. Kerley is not that diff than Beasley stats wise and many thought would be a solid contributor like he was in SF.
  5. We shall see. He had a Zay Jones, Robert Foster type season but is getting paid like he belongs in the upper tier. Those guys had Peterman, Allen, Anderson, Barkley. Not sure you get more than you would get from many other WR's that could be had. Again, hoping for the best.
  6. Concern is the injuries. Some teams may not have wanted to give the money given the risk.
  7. Well we know how it worked out. But rewind and Jones, Kerley, Benj and Clay. That does (did) not look much diff than Brown, Jones, Beasley and Kroft. Got to keep it real.
  8. Not ignoring. Just stating the facts vs trying to predict "what if the is was the qb or what if he was the primary WR". No matter how bad your QB is getting held under 30 yds that many times is a concern. I "hope" he can be more successful here but that is yet to be seen. And in AZ Larry Fitz has seemed to put up good numbers with those QB's.
  9. Yep - feels about right. Or like many of our signings over the past 15-20 years. Andra Davis, Dwan Edwards, Geoff Hangartner, Kawika Mitchell and so forth.
  10. He got kicked off the auburn team his sr year and had done nothing that season through 5 games. Caught for 730 his Jr year. Yes dominated in JUCO and high school. Did not make the rams roster in 2016.
  11. The guy that was undrafted, ran a 4.7 40 and played in the CFL? Would not be betting on him being the new WR. He is more likely not even on the roster.
  12. Remember when the Bills signed Dockery and Walker and Whittle...
  13. Bills top paid per year avg: Morse Star Hughes J Brown McCoy T Murphy
  14. This is absurd. There are only so many roster spots in the NFL and guys want to get paid. No one ever claimed the Bills cannot sign any players. The talk is that they cannot attract the marquee names. The closest to that this year is Morse. The rest are all the types of signings the team has done for years.
  15. 10 games last year with under 30 yards rec. 7 (out of 10) with 32 or less 9 in the year before In the last three years in the majority of games he gets shut down. Completely. Antonio Brown 1 game in the last 3 years under 30. Only 2 times in the last 6 years.
  16. My thoughts exactly. Lets keep upgrading our #3 with no #1 or really even a #2.
  17. Antonio Brown or Beasley/Brown?
  18. Fully understand that. Just dont like this guy for the price. Would have preferred the guy the Bengals kept over him who they paid the same or less.

  20. Hate it for for this price. I save this signing for a wait and see, then get him for a cheap 1-2 year deal. You miss out on him oh well.

  22. You mean is Frank Gore Juwann James father? Could be...
  23. Gore and Dorsey played together college and pros too.
  24. Gore will be a huge recruiter as well for the Bills. He was already overheard recruiting some of his old teammates - Shockey, A Johnson, Portis, McGahee, Ed Reed, D Hester just to name a few.
  25. This is like getting your wife excited to go car shopping. That 2008 Toyota Camry has seen better days. She hears the garage open up and looks out at a 2006 Nissan Maxima.
