  1. Actually on that first one a better pass and that is a TD not a toe tapper on the sidelines.
  2. Can we stop with the dont complain about bad calls because Bills blew so many chances. Yes, we all know Bills had a 16-0 lead and it could have been more. They made a ton of mistakes and blew the game. That should not excuse horrible officiating. There is no justification for incompetence by the NFL. Refs should be fined or fired for bad calls. The NFL should have a review process in place to limit bad calls. The hit on Allen would be a very quick review to see the penalty and make the right call. Cleaning up definitions like on the "touch back" to start the second half or the Ford "blind side" block would go a long way. It is frustrating for fans which the NFL needs to survive to watch such incompetence impact the team they support. And yes through out the games call can go both ways. But when you have calls that impact the outcome at critical moments that is different. Its insanity. If you only have the reversed td on the touch back I get that. Then you add Ford's penalty and that changes things. Then add the no helmet to helmet. Then add then play clock. Then look big picture at no in game penalties on houston...you have to question not only incompetence but corruption.
  3. Helmet to helmet, unsportsmanlike conduct on big hits and similar are so frustrating since there is no consistency in what is called and what is not. I have seen plays not even at the level of the hit on Allen called like an arm barely hitting a helmet or helmet to chest, yet they dont call that? QB gets destroyed as helmets collide and no Allen did not initiate or lower his head. I dont think Allen even saw it coming. Allen's helmet is almost knocked off.
  4. Amari Cooper in FA Best Edge Rusher or OL at 22 Get best WR on the board in the 2nd round
  5. It is a combination of Daboll and Allen. But if Allen improves it would help out Daboll a ton. During the game I get frustrated with Daboll. I watch the film afterward and get frustrated with Allen. Its not just the bad throws but the many left on the field or the inaccurate passes that turn a TD into a 5-10 yd gain. Daboll - Gets too cute. Some of the plays seem overly complex and take too long to develop. Many plays lack options - bunch everyone and have only one real option. Lacks balance - 100 passes in a row after running with success etc. Allen - Still makes dumb decisions. Accuracy issues lead to lack of TD's and many missed plays. Takes bad sacks. Know when to run, throw away and get down. Speed up decision making process. Did I say accuracy... I still have faith this tandem can work. Next year is huge for both. If the Bills are still a bottom feeder offensively then both could be running out of time.
  6. Funny how much we bash Roman around here. His offenses here with Tyrod were in the top half of the league. We have yet to even approach that level. Just saying...
  7. Duke Williams is 26 years old There is lots of professional film on Duke Duke has been on multiple NFL rosters Teams know his strengths and weaknesses Teams pay a premium for potential. For the unknown. Many players come in and out of the NFL. Look at just our Buffalo Bills stats over the years. You will see names and many will not even remember guys that actually put up ok numbers for a year or two. Lets stop pretending Duke is better than this guy or that guy. If he was many teams could have him. The Bills could have played him all year. Reality is still that he is a fringe NFL player until he proves otherwise. He will need a good off-season and will be fighting for a roster spot next year.
  8. 22 K'Lavon Chaisson, EDGE LSU 54 Justin Jefferson, WR LSU 86 Najee Harris, RB Alabama 118 Jordan Elliott, IDL Missouri 137 Jake Hanson, IOL Oregon 149 Joe Bachie Jr., LB Michigan State 168 Jacob Breeland, TE Oregon 181 Eric Stokes, CB Georgia 191 Saahdiq Charles, OT LSU
  9. Supposedly last year WR draft was over rated and this year is the one. That is why the Bills didnt draft one last year... AJ Brown over 1000yds McLaurin and Metcalf over 900yds Samuel over 800 Another handful over 500 yds In the 2018 draft none even hit 900 and only 1 above 800. In 2017 only one hit 900, 2 hit 800. In 2016 only one above 700. In 2015 only 1 above 800. Hopefully we didnt miss a good chance that we still need to fill...
  10. Exactly. Allen needs to use his TE as a safety outlet more and also hit him over the middle when the safety help is covering Amari Cooper next year...
  11. Upgrade at least 1 OL spot Not sure I call Knox a lock yet. If we can get Hooper it is a big upgrade. Need a #1 WR
  12. The way way too early Super Bowl odds for the 2021. The past several years the Bills have been in the 100-1 and 150-1 range which was typically one of the 5 worst odds to win the Super Bowl prior to the season. Obviously a whole off-season to go. But got to think we will have a big change here. I predict 30-1 to start the year. Good off-season and maybe we are 20-1. For comparison - this year NE/KC were 7-1, LAC 8-1 (wow?), LAR 10-1, CHI/NOR/SEA 15-1, GB/IND 18-1, PHI/MIN/PIT 20-1, DAL 25-1, BAL/CLE/ATL 30-1. What are your predictions?
  13. This NE team was like the DEN Manning team. Won with Def and some smart QB play. NE could actually be better without Brady as weird as it sounds. Andrew Luck back in football for the Pats next year...
  14. Disagree - Hits him with shoulders and back. Actually more shoulder and head contact than Ford. That is the frustrating part of it. Most or many of the times refs use common sense. Dont call that penalty and let the Bills try a long FG and win or lose the games themselves. Not make a random call that is rarely called and in game deciding point.
  15. Yes smart move but illegal. He was not pushed - watch it and he clearly decides to block Edmunds. Yes- Johnson is going towards his end zone. Blocking Poyer between the 1 and goal line and goes back to about the 2-3 to block Edmunds. How do you apply the letter of the law to Ford when the guy is not nearly in position to make a tackle. But not apply it here when it clearly impacts the result?
  16. I know it is time to move on. The ridiculous number of bad calls by the refs are still frustrating. No more thinking about it after today...but... Much discussed have been the reversed kick off TD, Ford illegal block, expired play clock, Allen helmet to helmet hit, Hopkins gift first down. These were the obvious ones - but take a look here at the 2pt conversion. Johnson is blocking Poyer then moving towards his own end zone blocks Edmunds which is what gets Watson the conversion. Since they are clearing thinking about illegal blocks why no call on Duke Johnson here which actually impacts the play unlike Ford? They dont get that conversion there its 16-6 which becomes 16-9 then 16-16 not 16-19... https://www.trendsmap.com/twitter/tweet/1213846088999936007 Can only imagine how many other plays there are out there.
  17. NE will be held to 13 or less...
  18. Yes technically drops are what meet a definition. My point is a guy that you know where the ball is going to be consistently vs a guy that does not have that quality yet; the pass catchers will tend to have more drops of easy balls with a guy that has less consistent placement. Think about it - you stand there and catch the ball 100 times with every pass being right between the numbers every time. Stand there for 100 passes and some are to the left, right, high, low. Which round of 100 do you drop more? They are all technically the same drops...
  19. Drops are impacted by QB accuracy. A QB with consistent ball placement will have less drops. I also think when you throw darts like JA does he will always have a slightly higher drop rate.
  20. Yes many positives. Cant ignore how the defense has impacted all of that as well. I am not a fan of giving QB's credit for every rushing TD as a lot of that is playing calling or personnel related thus QB should not get full credit. Allen has been a good game manager since some rocky high turnover games. We are winning with him not because of him at this point given our defense. I am tired of the agendas to either say how great he is or how terrible he is. Why is so hard to accept he is really somewhere in the middle right now? He has lots of development ahead of him still and that is ok. Luckily we have a great defense and can win with the current JA. As history shows defenses are hard to sustain and we will need more of JA in the future.
  21. You at least play them half or more of game. But likely the entire game. Barkley goes 24-30 for 355 yds and 4 td's. D Williams catches 10 for 122, R Foster 8 for 165, Yeldon runs for 133. Bills subs win 42-14.
  22. HOU only goes to wild card if they go 9-7. Bills have 10 wins. Not possible.
  23. Remind me how many yards Ivory has this season?
  24. Stevie was drafted by the Bills and played in 11 games as a rookie. He was hurt much of 2009 and then won the starting job in 2010. He was working hard to earn to earn his spot and become the player he did. He didnt start high school football until his Jr year. Went to JUCO and then Kentucky. It was not a matter of just throw him in there more and he would have produced more from day 1 because he was some hyped guy. He earned it with hard work and dedication to become good enough.. Duke is a completely different story. All hype and expectations. He has arrived already and is not getting a chance.
  25. Good question. As is why some fans think a practice squad barely in the NFL guy is the missing piece of the offense.
