  1. Fingers crossed we get LSU results and not the CAR results...
  2. Maybe they will send us a 2038 7th round pick?
  3. I would take anyone that would sign a vet minimum type deal. Nothing to lose in that scenario.
  4. Huh. Would not call this blocking a deal. The Bills were the one making the deal and then traded with CAR instead. Hopefully because it was a better deal. If we preferred to block the Pats over KC that is concerning.
  5. 10 future hof guys. How can you pick between them.
  6. Dude - they traded down and took one of lower ranked wr options. They could have gone big and moved up for odunze, gone less big and got Thomas. They traded back and let 3 more wr come off the board. I would call that punting. I hope they are right and Coleman outperforms the rest. As for your other stuff. I believe they are a legit WR away from a serious superbowl contender. They are even without one. But a legit wr would be a huge impact. I didn’t know that made me not a fan and hate the team. I don’t like how they addressed the position. Didn’t like it last year or year before and this year even more. It has been the biggest downfall in my opinion. Hopkins on this team last year and we are in the Super Bowl.
  7. Because I wanted them to grab more than one or a better wr in the draft? Or another free agent? Maybe I’m just more opinionated that you are and don’t just accept every move as a cheerleader.
  8. Are Jefferson and Chase consider big and physical WR's? That is not how would classify them nor would I say the Bills are bringing those type of guys. Not to mention Brady was not the OC nor was it his offense.
  9. Claypool had 77 yards last year and 400 the year before. We are like 3 years from him doing squat.
  10. They were good last year and almost beat us out. That is with Tua and we have Josh. What does that tell you if Tua is so bad. They take another step and they have passed us. Funny how people love to say they are all hype when we are the team underperforming with a top QB. Essentially punted on the draft - trade back and get Coleman. Now punting on the vets - we get Claypool.
  11. Chark and OBJ off the board. Claypool too...
  12. Yeah because they have never picked up random guys that did not make the roster or retired before even playing for the Bills...or at halftime.
  13. I doubt he makes the roster based on his play the last couple years. I would rather we got Chark (Chargers) or OBJ (Miami)...
  14. Except: KC is trying and investing in the WR room. Both in terms of drafts - 1st this year and 2nd in that past two drafts, as well as free agent $. BAL has Bateman and Flowers who are recent 1st round picks. They paid $ for OBJ. They have decent WR room and again have invested in it. DET has St. Brown and Williams (recent 1st round pick) and some decent role guys. Again not a weak room and have invested heavily. BUF in comparison has shelled out middling free agent $ and until a 2nd rounder this year, low level draft picks.
  15. More likely to not make team that be a threat. But you never know.
  16. Transition was referring to transition in leadership. Guys like Diggs, White, Hyde, Poyer, Morse were some of the vet leaders of this team and are now gone. In a way you can look at this is a challenge to Allen to step up as a leader. Maybe the draft of rookies and saying they were looking for leadership qualities was a shot at recent draft picks like Cook, Groot, Oliver, etc that they need to be leaders. I don't see transition as referring to talent because outside of Diggs the talent was replaceable.
  17. What talent have they lost? White has not contributed for a long time Hyde and Poyer both lost a few steps Diggs supposedly quit and is not the player he used to be Davis can’t catch and disappears all the time McG upgrades an aging Morse The handful of ST guys like Neal, Mata, etc can be replaced.
  18. I still think Dorsey was a scapegoat and because we won more games under Brady it is viewed as "Brady is better". But reality was we won games because the D played a lot better and we turned the ball over less. The O stats were not that different. The passing O definitely was worse with Brady, while rushing was better. But if you dig deeper much of the rushing improvement came via Allen's legs. Which because they were in much more desperation mode, I think they took the chains off Allen and let him run while during Dorsey's time in the early season they told Allen not to run. So since Brady was allowed to lean heavy on Allen it skews things. I am hopeful with an offseason Brady can put it together. But I dont think we can go a full 17 plus playoffs with the style he utilized with Allen as a bulldozer. He needs to get the passing game going much more than he was able to last year.
  19. WR Gallup to Raiders
  20. If the Bills traded for a top WR or had drafted one of the top 3 in this draft they definitely would be a favorite. Even as they stand now they have the 4th highest odds.
  21. There are quite a few names available. I try to pick up a couple WR - Tyler Boyd and somebody. Some decent DB's to be had as well - give me Simmons and Gilmore or Howard. Add some DL for our rotation to compete for a job. WR Tyler Boyd (Titans) OBJ (MIA) Michael Thomas Michael Gallup (Raiders) Corey Davis DJ Chark (Chargers) MVS (BUF) Hunter Renfrow Zay Jones (AZ) RB Joshua Kelly OL Connor Williams Donovan Smith Dalton Risner Andrus Peat (Raiders) D.J. Humphries David Bakhtiari S/CB Justin Simmons Stephon Gilmore Quandre Diggs Xavien Howard Adoree Jackson Jamal Adams Steven Nelson Micah Hyde Ahkello Witherspoon Patrick Peterson Eddie Jackson DL Calais Campbell Emmanuel Ogbah Lawrence Guy Yannick Ngakoue Tyus Bowser Markus Golden Bud Dupree (Chargers) Carl Lawson
  22. We dont need a #1 or a guy that wants targets. It will takeaway balls from spreading around to guys like Hollins, Hamler, Ty Johnson, etc.
  23. But, but they are paying Mahomes and Jones, Thuney, Taylor...how what why.
  24. So if your team used to be mediocre you should accept being really good but falling short? This team has been very close and with Allen can remain very close. The margin of error has been really small - like better coaching in the 13 second game, having a #2 WR, etc. If the Bills made a few different choices the team could have possibly one of a super bowl. McBeane has brought them close, but that does not mean you cant question if they can get them over the top.
