Agreed. There is a fine line between being competitive and being a jack a$$. But I would bet most elite wr in the league would not have been happy with that the O turned into in most of those games. WR can be the way they are because more than any other position they rely on the QB and playcalling.

The world where a guy that has been getting 1 year minimum level salary deals for the past 3-4 years or more can get you a 4th rounder.

Weeks 3-6 he had 4 100 yard games in a row. He had 6 catches and over 5 yards every game until the DEN game followed by Dorsey being fired. After that he only had 6 catches twice and over 50 yards twice. The slowly following off a cliff was after Dorsey not before. Its convenient to say it was all Diggs but the numbers would support that the switch to Brady had more to do with it. Look at Allen's numbers. So I guess that has nothing to do with the OC either? Its convenient and makes people feel better to say he is washed. No one is saying Allen is washed and his numbers dropped off as well. If not for his running things would be a lot different. The passing game disappeared in the majority of Brady games. Hopefully that changes this year or its gonna get wild around here.

And dude had like 800 yards at the midway point of the season. He was pace to have a record season until Dorsey got canned and passing game kind of went with it.

Quantity does not replace quality. There are are only so many plays being run and passes per game. What we need is a few of these players to exceed expectations/ Kincaid have a complete year as a downfield threat not just a dump off guy. Cook a complete back that does not disappear on the sidelines for quarters of games. Shakir or Samuel to resemble a #1 type WR or a rookie Coleman as a #1. Maybe a rebound year from MVS.

Lets also ignore he has already been working out with Stroud, Dell and some other guys.

So do a million other guys. I dont think Diggs off-season work ethic has ever been in doubt. He puts in a ton of work, and like many others does not value OTA's.

Dont over think it. Anyone that is gone from the department sucked. The new ones are all way better.

Not to mention the $20 and $30 m per contracts we saw in free agency and the fact wr was the most active position. At RB we see guys struggling to get a job while many wr that have done nothing still get shot after shot. I think it’s more teams are hoping to get lucky so they don’t have to pay a guy 30m.

When Diggs was on this roster I would bet if he was still on this roster not many would be saying Diggs is not a #1. Now that he is gone the narrative is he sucked anyway. Ok. So all the times people wanted to add to the wr room and we didn’t need to because we had Diggs and anyone else was gravy.

They have said it - replicating a Green Bay wr room. Bunch of ok players can do a bit of different things. No one guy. Let’s see how this plays out…I prefer having a true 1 and 2 add a vet and a bunch of randoms. Don’t mind the move though. We’ll depending on the contract details.
