  1. No td in two games now. Player issue or OC issue? Maybe no issue. But common response is it’s just preseason. Didn’t realize it was preseason for the Bills and no one else. 15 points in two games puts them with the chargers, Steelers and panthers. Not a great group.
  2. Edwards has a $2.8M cap hit.
  3. Cant ignore we are spending almost $6M on Rapp and Edwards. I take Simmons at $8M and some lower $ guys than the combo.
  4. Week one preseason revisits - Good news, bad news, meaningless news about our week one loss... Last year only two teams got blown out like the Bills did last week. One was the 49ers and the other was the Panthers. Super Bowl or worst record in the league or nothing to see here.
  5. It is becoming a trend. poor decisions on the offensive side of the ball in many phases from players to coaching. While they focus on D and we are now seeing those decisions back fire - pay Milano and not Edmunds, Miller, Hyde/Poyer situation, White, Elam, Basham, AJE...
  6. So we are paying: $31M to Diggs to not be on the team $6M to White to not be on team $20M to Bates, Poyer, Hyde, Floyd, Harty, Morse to not be on team $15M to Miller to not exist $12M to Milano to be out until Dec Over $80M to players that potentially have zero impact on the season.
  7. Thats one way to look at it. Reality though is we beat Pitt, likely the worst AFC team in the playoffs, and scored 31 points with two drives starting near the Pitt 30 yard line. Was not the cleanest win as it should have been a blowout. KC played MIA and only scored 26 in a game that was never really in question. KC then beat the Bills. KC went on to play BAL and SF which drive the numbers down. So its a bit of reading too much in the numbers to say the Bills O was better in the playoffs.
  8. Better regular season or better playoffs and when it counts? Allen may have a higher ceiling and be more athletic. But Mahomes is better.
  9. Problem with these comparisons is it starts with: Reid > McD Mahomes > Allen Kelce > Kincaid/Knox Pacheco > Cook/Davis Who cares with all that if our WR's are as good as theirs. Plus Rice is likely better than any of our WR's. And guess what they did this offseason - added Brown and drafted Worthy. So clearly they care about having WR's.
  10. So many picks on RB's. So little to show for it.
  11. Bills reached out to Peterman and he said he just could not show is face around town. But he did suggest his former back up Dinucci...
  12. Ryan Tannehill is on a plane now...
  13. Glad he is gone. This is football. We dont need intense guys that get all aggressive like that. Pushing each other around. We just want to sit around the campfire singing and making smores.
  14. Vegas has Jets at +2000 and Bills at +1500. If you can guarantee a healthy roster for both teams you could see those odds flip. I still put my money on Bills and would never make that Jets bet. But if your looking for a realistic longshot bet I would say the Jets are not an awful choice. Rodgers stays healthy, OL is improved, the D will be solid. Stranger things have happened.
  15. Would be shocked if anyone gives him more than vet min $.
  16. Is that the goal? Top 10 coach with a top 10 team. No super bowl appearances with the best all around QB in the league that plays like an alien. If he missed this list he should have been fired yesterday. It is expected he is a top 10, that is pretty meaningless.
  17. Do the Bills have Andy Reid too? Reid has proven that he can scheme. Brady in a small sample size has shown he can let Josh put this team on his back via his legs. But the passing game with Brady was way below average.
  18. After Allen hooked up with Diggs girl then he went and tracked down Palmer's.
  19. Well he caught for 1,000 his first two season with a very limited passing attack. I think the Bills broke him. Maybe it was the bust status and it got to his head. Injuries got to him.
  20. Not even close. He has one year as the feature back and even in that season he was on the field typically 50% of the snaps. He is generally pulled for pass blocking downs, short yardage downs and many times even as the receiving back. Long way to go before he is a top anything back.
  21. Agreed. There is a fine line between being competitive and being a jack a$$. But I would bet most elite wr in the league would not have been happy with that the O turned into in most of those games. WR can be the way they are because more than any other position they rely on the QB and playcalling.
  22. The world where a guy that has been getting 1 year minimum level salary deals for the past 3-4 years or more can get you a 4th rounder.
  23. Do you want your #1 WR to not want the ball? I dont know man. I dont want my number 1 to be the guy thats like, dont worry I am good blocking or being a decoy, pulling coverage away from guys. You want your number one to an alpha. Throw me the damn ball.
  24. Weeks 3-6 he had 4 100 yard games in a row. He had 6 catches and over 5 yards every game until the DEN game followed by Dorsey being fired. After that he only had 6 catches twice and over 50 yards twice. The slowly following off a cliff was after Dorsey not before. Its convenient to say it was all Diggs but the numbers would support that the switch to Brady had more to do with it. Look at Allen's numbers. So I guess that has nothing to do with the OC either? Its convenient and makes people feel better to say he is washed. No one is saying Allen is washed and his numbers dropped off as well. If not for his running things would be a lot different. The passing game disappeared in the majority of Brady games. Hopefully that changes this year or its gonna get wild around here.
  25. And dude had like 800 yards at the midway point of the season. He was pace to have a record season until Dorsey got canned and passing game kind of went with it.
