  1. If the Bills beat BAL and CIN and Chiefs beat AZ and MIA then I would say Bills. So in this case I say KC though it doesn't really mean much. We beat JAX and BAL to go 4-0 and KC beats ATL and SD then my answers changes to the Bills.
  2. Winning will do that and we are only two games in. I also think there is something to the fact that the expectations have drastically changed. The past few years it was super bowl or bust everywhere. Now there a lot of pundits out there saying the Bills dont even make the playoffs. It is much easier to be in lets prove them wrong mode than constant super bowl expectations.
  3. People have such short term memories. Bills were never funny to watch when he was here? We had one of the most exciting offenses in the league. I love the 2-0 start and there has been some fun to watch. But saying we are so much more fun to watch than we have ever been is a weird conclusion.
  4. Really? The Bills could not stop AZ The first 3 AZ drives went for 70, 61, and 71 yards and were all 10 plays or more. The Bills literally could not hold them on a single drive in the 1st half. The Bills turned it around in the 2nd half. AZ had one solid drive in the 2nd half for 58 yards and scored 3 points. The other 4 drives gained only 22 yards total, though 1 ended in a fumble on the 2nd play and the final drive AZ was able to move the ball. MIA actually stopped JAX on the first and third drives of the game but did give up 96, 55, and 43 yard drives in the first half. MIA also buckled down in the 2nd half and only gave up one big drive of 94 yards but the other 5 JAX drives all went nowhere. JAX scored 0 points in the 2nd half and excluding the one big drove only gained 10 total yards in 5 drives.
  5. Here is how I look at it. The top 10 or so RT do make 15-25m per. After that there is a big drop to $5-10m for the next 15 or so guys. He is here for two more years. If he proves do be worth $10m more than the next tier of guys maybe he sticks. But I suspect they will be looking for a replacement in the next couple years to prep for when they cut him loose. Kind of reminds me of the Knox deal. Paid him like a top 10 TE. Good player but top 10? Would not be shocked to see them draft a RT early this year or next.
  6. Very similar games. MIA dominated JAX in the second half like we did. Still think JAX is a better team than AZ so better win for MIA. We will find out this week who is the better team at this point...hopefully it is us.
  7. I would be fine removing MIA. I added them because I had 4 in the NFC. But I put them there bc a win vs JAC is a decent win vs other AFC team wins. BAL lost by a toenail to the #1 team. Think that loss is better than most AFC wins. Still win over GB is better than most NFC wins. Who is #4 then? Bills are right there but barely beating JAX > barely beating AZ. Agree with this. We beat MIA we are top 2 regardless of of what BAL or HOU do. Again, this is based only on the two weeks of results nothing else.
  8. At first glance, he is gone after 2025 with a $4M dead cap hit. Dont see how you pay your RT $20M per unless he becomes dominant. It is hard to fully grasp how BUF feels about Brown. Each of the past few years they have brought in competition or back up plans for him at the costing the team some decent funds.
  9. Based solely on week 1 results: Top 4 of AFC: KC, BAL, HOU, MIA Top 4 of NFC: SF, PHI, DAL, DET
  10. I think it was a bad call. But I the piece that could be debated is that Murray went to slide and Ingram could have avoided him altogether than go down for the hit even if he then pulled up to avoid contact. You can see he still kneed him etc. That is where the ref is judging could Ingram have just let the play go dead when Murray started the slide.
  11. They are all debatable. These calls were all judgement calls. We are not talking about knowing the guy stepped out of bounds or that the ball hit the ground. A roughing call is open for interpretation. Saying he avoided hitting the qb is no different than saying the DB did touch the WR. Those are not apples vs oranges. Its applying the rules as written. You could argue a pass interference call is actually less debatable because you can see the defender making contact before the ball is there, where a roughing call involves some degree of intent and guesswork of did he try to avoid or not. .
  12. I accepted the bad calls that went against the Bills in exchange for the non calls late in the game. You could argue PI on a few plays in AZ final drive that they could argue cost them the game.
  13. Deep shot is wide open. Run two guys down the seam.
  14. That is the give and take with Allen. Got to hit that pass.
  15. Mix it up Brady. That run is getting predictable.
  16. Well. Hopefully we get a different team in the 2nd. That half was our preseason.
  17. Seems like he has barely been out there. A lot of Knox.
