  1. 2 firsts used to get Watkins. Only 1 to get Diggs. Traded for Watkins without a franchise QB in place. Traded for Diggs with a franchise QB in place (along with many other pieces to the puzzle). so, gave up less & timing much better. oh, 2 more things... Diggs is better Diggs is proven
  2. He did win the Nagurski and Bednarik in 2015 as best LB in college fb.
  3. If one of the top 3 Wr falls to 16 or 17, I think they try to trade up. If not, I think they would like to see Chaisson or Epenesa. If none of the 3 falls and neither edge player is there (and they don’t trade down) I’m starting to like Denzel Mims who is an elite athlete. More height. More hops. More straight line speed. Also very productive.
  4. Catches w his body way too much, which reminds me of zay.
  5. A lot of people bring up the Sammy Watkins trade as evidence of a trade up being a disaster. I do seem to remember that one of the biggest criticisms of that deal was that the bills traded major Draft capital for a receiver when they didn’t even have a franchise quarterback. Timing was way off, many said. Obviously Sammy wasn’t as good as we had hoped, but he had his moments and who knows how much he suffered by having a below average quarterback. So, if you believe in Josh Allen, Isn’t the timing different this time around? Would it be more acceptable to give up an extra pic to move up if you think one of those top two or three guys is a perennial pro bowler that could really help Josh Allen become a top-flight quarterback?
  6. Watching him running out of the wildcat makes me want to compare him to Alvin Kamara rather than an NFL receiver. What makes Kamara so great is his ability to catch 80 balls out of the backfield. They even line him up in the slot or even out wide sometimes. I think Kamara ran a 4.53, which is pretty close to Laviska. He’s also thick at 5’11” 215 compared to Shenault’s 222 (albeit 6’2”) I think he can help an offense score points if he’s used in a variety of ways.
  7. It's a BS call, especially considering they called it on number 70. It's really number 72 that comes Close to possibly tripping.
  8. Who is old enough to remember Wesley Walker?
  9. Sick ending to that story.
  10. Why bother caring for this team at all if your lack of hope turns into something so damn sinister. You'd rather be right than see him improve, I bet.
  11. Incredible wide receiver draft next year. Probably at least 4 top 15 values.
  12. Holy Crap Man!
  13. 3-way trade that seems reasonable: Cleveland gets: #6 from colts, #22 from Bills. 2380 points. Indy gets: #12 from Bills, #35 from Cleveland, #65 from Bills. 2015 points. Buffalo gets: #4 from Cleveland. 1800 points. Cleveland still might have a shot at saquon Barkley if the Giants pass and Denver passes on him. Even if they don't get him they could grab Bradley Chubb or Quenton Nelson at 6. All three are probably in the mix for the 4th overall pick right now and they would get one of them. I think that is the key to making a deal like this happen. They also get to pick 22nd instead of 35th. Cleveland comes out slightly ahead in point value by about 30 points. Indy would move out of contention for Chubb and Barkley, but they only move down six spots and pick up 35 and 65. They have already picked up two second-rounders from the Jets this year and another next year. They would pick three times in a row in the early second round and also pick up the first pick in the third round. This is a huge opportunity for a team to build a roster that already has a championship-caliber quarterback, Assuming he's healthy. They come out ahead more than 400 points on the draft value chart, 1600 to 2015. Buffalo moves into the top four and still has two second-rounders and a third-rounder available to them for use or to trade. If the Giants decide not to draft a quarterback, they would be crazy not to move from #2 to #4. And if they have made that decision, I'm sure Buffalo could jump the two spots by offering just one second round pick. It would still leave them with a second and a third. If the Giants decide they are going to draft a quarterback, it means Buffalo gets the fourth quarterback chosen in the draft. They would have to be comfortable with Baker Mayfield or Josh Allen in order to do this, making the assumption that Darnold, Rosen, and one of Mayfield or Allen will get picked before they are on the clock. The only other concern would be the Giants trading out with Denver or someone else like Arizona, but it still guarantees Buffalo with one of those top four quarterbacks. It would also be difficult for Denver or Arizona to beat a buffalo offer if the bills are sitting with the 4th pick. Bottom line, it makes so much more sense to deal with Cleveland to get up to number 4 first, before going directly to the Giants. That would be way more expensive. Adding Indianapolis to the mix makes even more sense.
  14. Sounds a little like this: https://www.boston.com/sports/new-england-patriots/2016/01/14/shirtless-chandler-jones-knelt-down-in-police-parking-lot-appeared-to-be-praying-during-medical-incident/amp
  15. Did you find that on the dark web? You better be careful that the FBI doesn't come after you. Why would somebody take his picture at that point? Give the guy some dignity.
  16. When you grow facial hair and you shape it a certain way, it means you are trying. Otherwise, you would just let it grow in haphazardly. So clearly, he has some concern for his appearance. Which means he thinks his haircut and that sweatshirt went well together. Everyone's mom tries to teach their kids not to care so much about what other people think. His mom is the only one that got through to their kid. Good for him, I guess.
  17. If they are going to draft a quarterback and sign another Bridge quarterback who will likely start next season, they should focus on a guy who has a chance to have a big season. Someone who might be a little bit younger and not so injury-prone, so they can flip him for a pick when the rookie quarterback is ready to go. Obviously, this is the path the Eagles took when Carson Wentz was ready to take over and they got a first-rounder for Sam Bradford. Personally, I'm hoping they move into the top five and draft a quarterback who can start from day one.
