  1. Not sure if this has been started or discussed yet.  I just wanted to gauge everyone's thoughts on who will make it to the SB this year.  Now, I know we all want our beloved Bills to make the trip every year, but at the same time, I'd like everyone to be realistic.  At the end of the season, it would be fun to see who was spot on with their prediction.  I'll start:

    Texans vs. Saints

  2. Browns have a lot of talent, but don't know how to be coached to work together.  They don't finish with a record better than 8-8.

Cam Newton has a down year and loses his job to Will Grier.

Bills win the division, Pats miss the playoffs.

Robert Foster leads the league in receiving yards.

Zeke keeps demanding a new contract, but has an early season ending injury.

I don't wanna say this because we all want the Bills to go to the SB, but this is the Texans year to go.

Josh Rosen will be traded again by the end of the year.

Doug Marrone and Mike Tomlin get axed after not meeting expectations.

Mason Rudolph starts 3 games to show that he's the future starter

Joe Flacco will keep Denver interesting but barely misses the playoffs

he’s the rare national media member who is a Bills homer.  Love how positive he is about the team and the area and it’s a great change from most members.  But he really isn’t objective toward us. Still great to have a Buffalo fan though.

    ?

He was definitely not shy about us last year before the season started when he said how stupid Buffalo was for naming Nate Peterman the opening day starter.  He was dead on accurate about that.

Let's be real.  Why do the Pats value RBs so much now?  It's because of Brady's decline.  Only the last 3 seasons or so, they've put more emphasis on the RB position because the Brady era has been coming to an end.

Look at the Patriots. They MASSIVELY value running backs - they just don't pay them. If RBs weren't important Belichick wouldn't keep drafting them in the top 3 rounds

    - Sony Michel $917K (1st round, 2018)

    - James White $2.5M

    - Rex Burkhead $1.75M

    - Damien Harris - Rookie, 3rd rounder

    - Brandon Bolden $1M

    - James Develin $1M

They aren't wondering who is going to get cut in NE. At least 5 of those guys make the team, if not all six. And NE will use them in a multitude of different formations and situations. They are all unique weapons, whether it be running inside, outside, splitting wide, blocking, catching the ball, etc.

For the love of God, get over the whole Watson and Mahomes thing. We have no idea how Josh Allen is gonna turn up. We still made excellent picks in Tre'Davious and Dion Dawkins as well. The jury is still out on Zay. I believe this is his make or break season. He did have a decent 2nd season though catching 7TDs but yes, the 2017 draft is looking good

I agree with you.  It did frustrate me that we missed out on both of those QBs, but if Josh Allen happens to be better than both of them, then the risk of waiting for last year's QB draft class will be worth it.  Patience will definitely pay off for McD.

    - Raiders win 10+ games and make the playoffs
    - Chiefs cannot duplicate last year's success, barely sneak in as a wild card with 9 wins

    - Lamar Jackson has a terrible year, Ravens have a losing season

    - Le'Veon Bell has a career worst season behind bad Jets o-line
    - Joe Flacco does poorly in Denver, Drew Lock starts 7+ games

    - Jimmy Garappolo does NOT have a very good season. John Lynch gets fired. 49ers are left wondering if they still need to find a franchise QB
    - Seahawks win NFC West
    - Cam Newton has a bad year, causing a "should they start Will Grier?" debate
    - Bruce Arians gets the Bucs back on track with 9 wins and a wild card playoff berth
    - Buffalo mother*****in Bills win 11 games

I do agree that Cam will have a bad year.  But I think that Will Grier will only start the last game or 2 for an underachieving Panthers team and he will become the starter in 2020.

You a betting man? I like your optimism, but that isn't going to happen(assuming you meant completion percentage).

As to the question, I predict Tom Brady will finally hit the wall. Never fell into that trap in the past, but I now believe it's over. His arm is going to fail him. He'll probably will his way to a "decent" season, but nothing like we've seen in the past.

    Just being hopeful

That’s just silly because he attempts a lot of vertical throws. I do think he will hit 60% this year though. I also think he has a shot to lead the league in pass completions 15+ yards down field.

I would be very happy with 60% and believe that it's doable.

    8) Sean McDermott earns Coach of the Year honors.

Back in early April, I predicted Buffalo would be the NFL's Cinderella team in 2019. In the wake of a draft that saw the Bills steal DT Ed Oliver and wisely move up for OL Cody Ford, I fully stand by that Cinderella forecast. GM Brandon Beane has done a fantastic job building this roster. But my bullishness on the Bills stems most from the guy in the headset.

McDermott is a fantastic teacher and leader of men. His defense quietly ranked second in the NFL in yards allowed last season. And his team exudes toughness and discipline, giving Buffalo a great opportunity to overachieve.

As much as I like the Bills being underdogs, I also love them getting some national attention.  I've always appreciated Adam Shein's comments and actually believe that he's on point with most of his predictions.  From what he's done and accomplished the last couple of seasons, I could definitely see this happening.  Additionally, if he does earn Coach of the Year honors, that means we're a playoff team.  GO BILLS!
