I believe the stat is Total yardage leading team

Most passing yards and 8th in rushing yards.  Maybe they shouldn't ignore Zeke in the 2nd half of games

Correct.  it is total yards, they just can't figure out ways to punch it into the endzone, or like you said, they paid a ton of money for Zeke, and he's being underutilized.  what a shame cuz they should be dominating teams.

Your logic, which states that beating the Cowboys wasn't a big deal because the Jets beat the Cowboys ... that logic is flawed.  It's also amateurish to even say.

You've been bashing the Bills, pretty much non-stop, in this thread ... but then saying, "everyone is taking it the wrong way."

No.  We're not.  You're bashing the Bills because nine wins isn't good enough due to them being "not convincing," or "not against good teams."

Look at the goddamn Patriots'* list of wins over quality teams.

Fact:  The best team that Pats* have beaten this year are the Buffalo Bills.  And they had to knock Josh Allen out of the game to win.

So stop bashing the Bills, then saying, "I'M SOOOO MISUNDERSTOOOOOOD!!!!!"

    I think everyone's understanding what you're saying/doing perfectly fine.

Try to enjoy the season if you're really a Bills fan.  You're missing a fun ride.

Where did I say I don't think we are for real? I said that beating a .500 team that is 0-5 against teams with winning records doesnt prove we are for real. The NFL is overreacting to the win because they have no belief in us. I hold us to a HIGHER STANDARD because I do believe! The Cowboys was a team we were SUPPOSED to beat. I would have hated to go in there 8-3 and be the FIRST winning team they beat all year. The Cowboys game wasnt a litmus test for being for real. This Ravens game IS. They are in OUR HOUSE and we MUST be competitive to be "FOR REAL"

Maybe we just differ on what "FOR REAL" means. To me it means a LEGIT CONTENDER. I will say it AGAIN: Beating the mediocre Cowboys DOES NOT make us legit contenders. NOT SAYING WE ARENT. Just saying that win kept the scales even. We still have 2 losses to what appears to be pretty bad teams. We had ALOT of very close games against some terrible teams. We also have gotten better and did beat the Cowboys convincingly. THE RAVENS GAME IS THE REAL TEST.

    WAKE UP PEOPLE!

You are all sorts of wrong.

    1)  We were the underdogs in that game in which so called "experts" predicted us to lose

    2)  The Cowboys are at the top of the league in total offense

    3)  Yes, they are having problems beating above .500 teams, but they've lost all those games by one possession.  They haven't been dominated yet this season until we played them.

Something else I thought of last night... It may mean absolutely nothing.

But I saw a quote from Coach McDermott that said, basically "I'm going to get a bite to eat and change clothes and get to work on Dallas". Conveniently, the Bills were at home in an early time slot yesterday, where the coaching staff could literally go down to their offices after the postgame press conferences and get to work with it being a short week. Dallas had to play on the road, in the later time slot. Which means that after their 4 hour flight back home, it was probably 2:00 am. Bills coaching staff already had a head start on them.

Again, it could mean absolutely nothing. But i feel like every minute counts in these short weeks.

Great point!.  You're 100% correct.  Every minute does count and McD is definitely aware of that.  On this short week, I really do think that we're in a better position than them.

I believe we would need the patriots to lose to the Texans, chiefs, and us to be able to overtake them for the division.  (assuming bills win out in this scenario).

this stems from new englands common game wins over Cleveland and the eagles.  We can only make up 1 game on that with Baltimore.

That would definitely be the ideal scenario to see, but is there a scenario in which we could take the division if the Bills and Pats finished with the same record (assuming we win in week 16)?  Does conference wins trump common wins?  If so, then 2 out of our 3 losses would be from the AFC while Pats would have 3 losses in the AFC if Texans or Chiefs can beat them.

I'm waffling.  I could see it Sunday but the way they didn't take their foot off the gas against Miami means we might not see him grinding at the end of the game.  Dallas would be a nationally televised game and a great story.  Neither team is terrible against the run with Denver being 11th and Dallas being 15th.

I'm hoping for this Sunday but voted for Thursday.  Short weeks are tough for defenses and someone who runs using a punishing style should do well.

Bingo! That will be an amazing stage for this accomplishment.  This will be something that the entire nation will be able to see. It'll break my heart a little bit cuz I do believe that Barry is the greatest RB in history, but what better person to do it then Gore, especially in a Bills uniform.

  7. I don't understand why the Browns were even trying to take down Mason Rudolph.  The game was already done no matter the outcome of that play.  Plenty of blame goes to both sides because neither team were playing smart football at all during those final seconds.  As some of you mentioned, just through a hail mary pass or pull a new play out of the book to see if it works.  No pressure was needed on the line at all from either team.  MG was clearly playing selfish ball by trying to add to his stat line.  I understand, the Steelers have owned the Browns for years, so it must have felt nice to beat them down the way they did, but there's absolutely no need to try and kick them while they're down.

In common games the Bills are 3-0 (Dolphins-Titans) and the Colts are 2-2 (Wins versus Broncos and Titans, Losses to Dolphins and Steelers).

So a win against the Broncos (or Steelers later) will give them the tiebreaker versus the Colts

This won't matter when we win the division.  I think the Patriots will drop 2 games and then lose to us in week 16.

What is it with people writing this sort of thing here?

What we write here has no bearing on anything, let alone how the team plays in real games.

    Do people not understand that?

To me, it's just too difficult to say how we'll be the following year.  Before the season started, our current schedule looked to be more difficult then what it actually is and we were pinned to only win 4-6 games according to the so-called experts.  Now we're looking at possibly having a double digit win season, whether that's cuz of strength of schedule, an improved team, or both.  Yes, next years' teams that we'll be playing prove to be difficult matches now because of how they're performing this year.  But that will completely change because of everything that happens in the off-season.

Not there anymore home now, and where should I have watched them? Was not able to watch my directv over there, I take it you were stationed there and had a place to watch em? How did you like Japan, it was an experience but I was happy to get home after just 39 days but we might be in the works to go back at some point and where you were in fact Okinawa?

Absolutely loved it there.  I lived on Foster but worked on Kinser.  I spent time all over the island.  Sometimes the Bills game came on AFN, but when it didn't, I had to use the good 'ol fire stick.

Anything less than that and we will be in big trouble. That Browns loss could really end up hurting us.

    Predict the remaining schedule.

    Broncos - W

    Cowboys - L

    Ravens - L

    Patriots - L

    Steelers - W

    Jets - W

We have to steal a game against either the Cowboys, Ravens, or Patriots.  If we pull out these next 2, then I think it'll be a lock for us.
