  1. valid points. If i'm not mistaken, he did overthrow Smoke as well. And yes, I can't believe we didn't challenge that non-PI call. I was screaming at the TV. I love our coach, but sometimes, he's too conservative. and I understand that he doesn't want to waste his challenges because they could be useful later, but that's the time he needs to try. If it's overturned, it's likely to result in points on the board.
  2. This loss hurts the worse so far. Knowing that we could have complete control of the AFC by winning this game and falling short stings. just like most games, it takes just one or two busted plays to make the difference. We win if we didn't fumble the ball deep in our own territory or if Poyer didn't cover the wrong TE (mistakes happen). Even with those mistakes, we had the chance to tie the game. Smoke was shut down all day. Why didn't we draw up a play for Beasley? He finds a way to get open almost every play. And throughout the game, Josh Allen had receivers open on deep passes. He has to find a way to connect on at least one of those. Easy TDs thrown away because of his deep ball accuracy. We all know this is an issue with him and I do believe he'll work on it and get better, but that time is now. And Dawson Knox, for goodness sake, stop dropping the damn ball! We all loved the one arm grab and aggressive run, but we need efficient hands every time. We had the chance to prove so many doubters wrong about our team.
  3. Unfortunately, no. And we're the ones who put ourselves in this position. Point blank, we shouldn't have let the Brown beat us. That's the game that's ultimately gonna cost us the division cuz I do believe that we'll beat the Pats in their own backyard.
  4. I may have overlooked it but I think you're the first one who's mentioned Devin Singletary. I'm glad we have him. He may not have the big flashy numbers that you see in other rookie RBs, but he'll definitely get there. He makes the most of every opportunity and he's so exciting to watch. Every time he's handed the ball, I'm on the edge of my seat just waiting for him to rip a long TD run, cuz he definitely has that ability. And the added bonus that he has the best mentor in the game right now.
  5. A hard fought game with us leaving with the "W"
  6. I love your Knox choice. My thoughts exactly when he catches the ball. He plays with so much aggressiveness when he catches the ball. He's gonna make opposing teams afraid of tackling him. His style of aggressiveness reminds me so much of Jeremy Shockey.
  7. Great topic and definitely a tough choice. I wanna go with the obvious in JA or Tre White, cuz both sides of the ball runs through them, but I'm gonna go with Micah Hyde. i'm gonna somewhat cheat, my second favorite is between Smoke and Cole (I can't decide which one I like over the other). This whole team is just having a ton of fun together and are really fun to watch. Right now, this is probably the tightest locker room in the NFL and this is an important recipe to success.
  8. I think Tre is happy here and he shows that he's having a lot of fun being a Bill. So let's pray that he doesn't demand a huge contract to stay when that time comes.
  9. Who gives a crap about records. QBs get paid to throw the ball, not run. That's what RBs are for. I just want the Bills to come out with a "W." Don't care how ugly or pretty it is, just WIN!
  10. Hell yeah! You're the man. Thanks for posting. Being in Philly is rough for watching Bills games.
  11. My thoughts exactly before I even opened this thread. This game can truly go either way. I'm not worried about LJ through the air, but on the ground is a different story. If we can stop him on the ground, then we have a great chance to beat them. I just hope it doesn't boil down to the kickers cuz they truly have the best one in the game right now.
  12. But nothing. He's not going anywhere and why would he? He's got a great thing going on right now. You must be a Panthers fan. Lock this thread please.
  13. It was really amazing seeing Cole Beasley doing that after the win against Dallas. In the weeks leading up to that game, I was vocal about saying how badly I wanted Cole to light up his former team. I would love nothing more than to see Smoke doing the same thing. doesn't matter how long he was with them for. A former team is a former team and they allowed him to walk after his one season with them. So please have that extra motivation this week Smoke. I'm all in on you this week.
  14. Almost certain vacancies: Atlanta Falcons Jacksonville Jaguars Cleveland Browns Dallas Cowboys You forgot one!
  15. I think Marrone and Foles will be done in Jacksonville too.
  16. He'll take the Cowboys job after Garrett gets fired at the end of the year.
  17. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001083603/article/jerry-jones-jason-garrett-will-coach-in-nfl-next-year Do you believe in conspiracy theories? This article came out a little sooner than the firing. I think Jerry Jones helped his buddy Jason Garrett with finding his next job.
  18. I think Cam was gone after this season anyway. I don't remember which article I read earlier in the season, but it sounded like he expressed interest in playing for the Bears.
  19. As long as Philly isn't playing at 1, we'll be good. i'm in the same boat as you
  20. I agree with you 100% about Brady and his receivers. Most of his career, he's made average receivers look amazing and now that his age is really showing and having a down year, all the attention goes to his receivers being bad and not Brady. That's absolutely ridiculous. And I love how Brady isn't taking any blame for how the offense is doing this year. What a humble guy.
  21. Did not see this coming. Weird timing too. They couldn't wait 4 more games?
  22. I don't wanna see the game put in Hauschka's hands, or leg
  23. I was thinking the exact same thing
  24. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/28212786/best-worst-nfl-qbs-week-13-receiver-woes-tom-brady-josh-allen-arrival Breakthrough Game Award: Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills Unlike Brady, Allen doesn't play often in prime time. So you can forgive much of the viewing public for its surprise that Allen played a really good game in the Bills' 26-15 victory over the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day. Most of the attention centered around a physical fourth-down rushing conversion, but in some ways it was also the best passing performance of his career. Week 13 Total QBR: Top Five See full leaderboard » 1. Deshaun Watson, HOU 88.4 2. Aaron Rodgers, GB 84.8 3. Ryan Fitzpatrick, MIA 82.3 4. Josh Allen, BUF 82.2 5. Jared Goff, LAR 78.5 Allen set career highs in completion rate (79.2%), yards per attempt (10.5) and passer rating (120.7), albeit against a Cowboys defense that has intercepted only four passes this season and rarely challenges opposing passers. Allen also rushed for a touchdown, in the process becoming the fourth quarterback in the Super Bowl era to accumulate at least five passing and rushing touchdowns in one month. Let's be clear about who Allen is, and isn't, at this stage. The numbers tell us he has rebounded from a horrible start to put himself above the replacement level. In Weeks 1 through 5 this season, Allen ranked No. 31 (of 34) quarterbacks in Football Outsiders' DVOA metric (minus-24.8). In Weeks 7 to 13, he has ranked No. 16 (of 36) with a plus-6.7 DVOA. That doesn't put Allen into any sort of discussion about elite NFL quarterbacks. It does, however, inform those who don't see many of his games -- and that's most of you -- that he has made substantial progress in his second season.
