  1. Very true on all points! Barkley had the potential to be special too. That's why I was happy to have him because of how he played prior to his Senior year. We need the Deion Sanders meme along with that
  2. Uh oh. @Hapless Bills Fan is gonna lose his S!@# with another playoff thread. LOL
  3. Ah, the Matt Barkley approach. Look where he's at now. LOL
  4. We have more pressing needs then to take a QB that high. And Allen won't flame out. He grows each week and still hasn't hit his ceiling yet
  5. Maybe if we were selecting him as Mr. Irrelevant because he's just that, irrelevant.
  6. It all boils down to 3 teams. Steelers, Texans, and Titans. Texans or Titans will win their division. We hold the tie-breaker over the Titans, but they could still finish with 10 wins, so it won't matter. If Titans win their division and we tie with the Texans, i'm not sure who gets in. I'm not looking it up.
  7. I'm with you. That's why I said in my opening thread that i'm usually saying take it one game at a time. But sometimes it's hard not to look ahead. As a fan, our minds are always on "what if" mode.
  8. THIS^^^ I've been saying this all along. That's the game that the Pats have over us.
  9. Who knows. I think Fitz would love nothing more than to play a part in de-throning the Pats as AFC East champs. Remember Fitz, we gave you your first big contract. Please help us out. You need to be our Dalton this year.
  10. Don't forget, the Pats knocked out JA during the first meeting. Not saying that'll happen again, but we should use caution when playing cheaters.
  11. Could happen, but won't happen. Don't forget that the Phins have to go to Gillette. I'd feel a lot better about this if they were playing in Miami.
  12. Not sure if this is being discussed, so please mod or lock as necessary. As we all know, this is the game that if the Bills win, we're in. With that said, does that mean we can't do worse than the #5 seed? If the Pats win this week, then winning the division will be even more difficult. Obviously we would need to win out and the Pats would have to lose out in order for us to claim that division title, but that may be a pipe dream. As much as I would love for us to beat the Pats in their own backyard, I think it would be smarter to limit our starters for the final two weeks to provide a little extra rest and provide somewhat of a bye week for the starters. I see both sides of the spectrum though. Sometimes, that first round bye is beneficial for obvious reasons with resting the entire team and getting extra time studying your opponent (in our case it wouldn't be a bye but something similar to a bye with resting starters). But in other situations, I know that building momentum during the final weeks of the season is usually a good recipe for making a strong push into the playoffs. I know some of you will say "take it one week at a time, let's focus on this game first." Shoot I'm usually one of those guys that says that, but I just want to gauge where everyone's thoughts are on this potential scenario and what you would do as the Coach of this team during the final two weeks if us and the Pats win this week. [I'm sorry, I know it's not identical, but we had 2 playoff scenario threads started at the same time, so I did merge]
  13. A message to our Edmonds: No Mercy!
  14. Man, a 45 yard punt would be music to my ears the way he's been all year. I'm tired of him giving opposing teams a short field. Thank God for our defense to bail him out most of the time.
  15. It still baffles me how Bojo made this team
  16. I can't remember, but more than likely, those two good punts were with the wind at this back. I could be wrong.
  17. Damn, good captures! Seeing this definitely makes you feel better about Josh Allen. Give him time and a clean pocket equals big time success for him. The Ravens D Line was insane that game and our O Line was constantly getting beat. JA had little to no time at all during most of this game.
  18. No way does the ST get a D for that game. The punter was atrocious, yes, but Money Haushka was money that game. He's been unreliable lately and I was afraid to match him up against Tucker, but he proved that he's still valuable. And it's not like we allowed them to break for any long punt or kick off returns. We held them in check. One thing I was frustrated with is Roberts. I know he's hungry and wants to take one to the house, but for goodness sake, if you catch it in the endzone, just put your knee down and let your offense start on the 25 instead of the 20 or worse and avoid injuries. At worst, ST was average as a whole.
  19. Brown was blanketed all game, and yes, Beasley had a couple of costly drops, but I still feel that he would've been the surer target in this particular scenario. Especially since we utilize him a lot during 3rd down situations and has great success with that. I do get your point with Brown being our #1 and he wants to be the #1, so he needs to show that he can be that guy on a consistent basis. His next two match ups will be just as tough going against Fitzpatrick and Gilmore, so it's time for him to step up and prove himself. He has the speed to blow by both guys, so I do believe that he and Josh will be dialing up a game plan this Sunday to prove his worth.
  20. That's why I have a good feeling about this Sunday night
  21. All great points. We definitely showed that we can hang with anyone in the league. I've got a feeling that teams will fear us in January.
  22. Still blows my mind that we didn't draw up a play for Beasley on that final play. With that close to the goal, Beasley makes all the sense in the world cuz he finds ways to get open. And it's still hard to swallow the fact that if we would've won that game, winning the division would've been completely in our control. It can still be done, but it'll be much harder. Or we should've just beaten Cleveland. Either way, let's just get to double digit wins and get into the playoffs. We will build on our losses and if we wind up playing a team for a second or third time in the playoffs, we'll be much tougher and more prepared.
  23. At the end of the day, we just need to create more turnovers. I'm not concerned about defensive TDs. Sure it helps, but turnovers in general ultimately leads to winning games.
  24. For me, i'd have to say Jalen Ramsey. I'm still bitter on how he took shots at almost every QB in the NFL last season, including ours. I just don't like his cocky attitude and how he feels that he's the greatest. By all means, he's good, but not humble at all. I feel the same way about Aaron Rodgers. When thinking about this question, he definitely came to mind as one of the top ones on my dislike list. Definitely a great QB, just can't stand that "diva" attitude as you mentioned.
