  1. I think it's appropriate to grade them together. As we've seen in the past, if you don't have a strong relationship between both the GM and the Coach, then that's usually a recipe for a failed organization. They absolutely have to be on the same page. The vision of both are completely aligned and i'm very happy of where we're at. For the grading, i'd put them right around 89-91. I know everyone wants to see playoff wins or the ultimate goal of a SB win before grading them high, but they have taken us to the playoffs 2 out of 3 years and now a 10 win season. And they've done this without any superstars on the team and with very low expectations. That alone puts them in the 91-100 category for me.
  2. True. Because I only pay attention to one team. So if he's mentioned anything about playing for any other team, I have no idea or could care less.
  3. True that. i do like the entire crew that they have. but she makes the show well worth watching.
  4. I'd be happy with this. But i'm shooting for Laviska. He seems like a guy who wants to come here and would be the best fit for him.
  5. True. But still need an upgrade at O-Line to protect Josh. No point in having all these weapons if he doesn't have the time to get them the ball.
  6. This is a fantastic pick up. Yes, he was awful with the Redskins. But come on, it was the Redskins. I don't think anyone really wanted to play there. Horrible coach, horrible organization. McD said it himself. "Here in Buffalo, you will be the best version of yourself." I firmly believe that and he'll get the most out of Norman. I think Norman will be excited to play again and we will get the most out of him. If not, he'll enjoy the bench. McD has shown that he's smart enough to pull players or rotate them when they're not performing as expected. For the doubters out there, be patient and be optimistic. Our FO knows what they're doing.
  7. Without question. Now if you asked would we sign him, i'd have a different response for you. But just bringing him in for a workout, why not. We don't lose anything by taking a look and seeing where his game is at
  8. What do I think? I think this should be shut down already! This is nonsense.
  9. I was wondering the same thing
  10. Well deserved and a great move in my opinion. He deserves a HC opportunity, but I believe this move was needed to ensure that he remains with us for a while. This shows him how much the organization values and believes in him.
  11. How was this a terrible signing? Yes, he faltered the back half of the season, but when that happened, Motor excelled. His type of mentorship doesn't come around often. He's a selfless player who would do anything at the benefit of the team. His impact on Motor allowed him to enjoy success as a rookie. Gore has laid the foundation for Motor to have a long successful career. You say terrible signing, I say this was a low risk, high reward signing.
  12. Thanks for posting this. As soon as I read this post, I immediately spent the last hour listening to it and it was well worth the listen. It's really refreshing to hear how much Beane cares about the players. The culture that he and McDermott has built is just incredible. It was also nice hearing how the Pegula's came in and showed how much they care as well. The Bills organization has definitely made it a family style environment and has made it a point that Buffalo is where you wanna be. They have made the right steps on building the future of this team I concur!
  13. Damn it Ruggs! Start sandbagging so we have a chance to get you.
  14. My thoughts exactly. This is gonna be a long 2 months
  15. We would have to move up for him and Beane would have to really want him over all other WRs to do this. I honestly think he will let the draft come to him again just like he did last year. I would absolutely love Ruggs as well, but I honestly like we'll stay put and take the best edge rusher that falls to 22.
  16. They're all entering their second year. I don't think I could say who has the least amount of room to improve because they all have a tremendous amount of room to improve. Now, if you're asking who I think will improve the least, then that's an entirely different question.
  17. I'm not saying that I don't think he'll improve. I really hope and we really need him to improve. The question of this topic is who do we think will show the most improvement and I just don't think it'll be him. I think he will improve, just not as much as everyone else on the list.
  18. True about Ford because he's got the most room to improve, but the question remains, will he improve at all or at least show more improvement than the rest on the list. I don't think so. As much as we love Knox, he had way too many drops. If he and Allen spend much of the offseason together, then I think he'll have the biggest improvement out of the rest of the group.
  19. I wanna say Peerless Price. I really liked him when we had him, but I know that he played in our last playoff game before the drought started. Dare I say Drew Bledsoe...lol. I'm gonna have to go with London Fletcher
  20. I agree with you. I was definitely not happy when we let him go. I wouldn't mind having him back, but i'm not sure the kind of person/player he is today compared to when we had him.
  21. It's not an obsession. it's facts. We need to continue building our elite defense and we need to project players leaving through FA. If we lose Lawson and/or Phillips, we will need to fill that void. Why not anticipate losing at least one of them and draft a top tier DE in the first round. You're right, we do need offense. But this is a deep class that we can address those needs in the 2nd round and beyond. If we miss out on one of the top 5 WRs, then who cares. There's plenty of WRs in this class that will be making some noise in this league who will be drafted in the later rounds. Our regime has an eye for talent and it will be found. I've got a strong feeling that our first pick will be spent on a DE. Put that in the bank. Sprinkle some process on that!
  22. I actually agree with you. Beane is incredibly smart and strategic with his draft choices. He knows we need a WR. He also knows how deep this draft class is. And we all know that DE is on the top of our needs list as well. I think it's far more important building a defense first and I think a DE is more valuable than a WR. This is why I think no matter if we stay put, move up, or fall back in the draft, we'll be drafting a DE in the first and a WR in the second.
