They've taken this game off on the board in Vegas. Looking like a punctured lung.

Brandon Weeden career day

Keep hanging your hat on he's a rookie and rookies make mistakes. That's true but he's doing simple things really poorly. A better run organization would've tried to put him in a better position.

Honestly just cut Kelvin Benjamin right now

Love it. This is the Defense we thought we were getting to start the year. Hoping they can put it together again this week v the Texans.

Allen playing well means much more to the stability of this Franchise than if he doesn't. We need to start winning because of how great our QB position is instead of scraping away wins in spite of our QB.

Wonderlics don't mean much to be honest. Josh Allen doesn't play smart on the field. That insane INT in the endzone v Packers isn't a rookie mistake. He was making those type of decisions at Wyoming. It's built into his fabric.

Zach Gentry-TE Michigan 6'7 265 who's going to run a 4.6. Let's get him in the 3rd

You just have a vendetta. Allen has shown good accuracy so far. He had four throw away yesterday and I see people like you attributing those throws to accuracy issues. Does he need to get better at reading defenses? Yes. His timing and touch has gotten better every game. If you just look at the box score then it looks like Allen had a bad game. He actually executed the game plan perfectly yesterday. He made some huge third down conversions, had a big running TD, didn’t hold the ball too long, and didn’t turn it over (that was on Holmes). The only off target throw was a low throw to KB (still could have been caught by an athletic WR). He has been growing as a QB, hopefully that continues because we need him to be the franchise.
Also, he led a perfect 4 minute drive to win the game and looked cool and collected the whole time.

Really nice player. He gets injured every game lol.

Exactly!!!! It's not like this guy was a stud in a 2nd rate conference.
Much like Manuel I believe his accuracy flaws may be fatal. Couple this with the crap job the staff did surrounding him with talent and you have a recipe for disaster.
So as much as a 13-12 win is a win it is not a sustainable model of success in today's NFL. The past 2 weeks have also offered nothing in terms of progression.
This season is about Josh Allen's development. We got the win which always feels nice but what he showed me makes me more of a skeptic than a believer. Would rather he look good and we lose than a 13-12 win that won't mean much in the larger scheme of things.

Always helpful to compare a LB to a rookie QB. Kind of like how my dog is far more impressive than my lawnmower.
I'm comparing our first round pick to our other first round pick but nice snark

Been far more impressive than Josh Allen. I'm glad to have him. I really trust McDermott with LB's and DB's. Love the additions of Edmunds, Phillips and Johnson.

Josh Allen is more likely to lose the game than Deshaun Watson

Just makes me sad to see so many Bills fans burying their hand in the sand on Josh Allen. We all want him to work out. We've suffered long enough. No one is actively rooting for him to fail and we all know how bad QB's look like. I understand wanting to mark some of it down to him being a rookie but stop setting yourselves up to be disappointed.
There's things that he's doing so poorly that has nothing to do with him being a rookie. He's just not good and it's a shame that they put no offensive talent around him that masks some of his issues but he has serious accuracy, timing, touch and intelligent issues that are too much to overcome.
I know he's 6'5, 237, mobile and has an incredible arm but it's crazy to me that McDermott and Beane banked their mortgages and their careers on a guy who struggled in the Mountain West Conference.

The guy had Watkins, Woods, Goodwin. Hogan, Mccoy and still had 100 yard passing days.
Allen > Tyrod all day every day
Watkins 6 grabs for 78 yards vs the Jags yesterday could have helped Allen a ton
I'm no Tyrod Taylor fan and yes Allen has been put in an awful situation with a lack of offensive talent around him but that doesn't explain his deficiencies. Multiple times yesterday he made WR's try to catch what should've been easy completions off the carpet.

Ummm they were up 20-0 and he passed for 300 yards. ??♂️??♂️
Said by the guy who wanted to give Tyrod more time ???
Thats Rich !
I wanted to give Tyrod more time? You're definitely mistaking me with the wrong person.

However, the rush to anoint young QBs as future Hall of Famers or busts, after a few games, seems to be reaching a ridiculous level.
We all want him to succeed but stop lying to yourself

We need about three WR’s and a TE

Josh Allen v Watt and Clowney. It’s not going to look good.

Allen's interception against the Titan was not his fault. It bounced off the receivers hands.
Agreed there. That’s just bad luck but he was throwing at his receivers feet for most of that game.

They are NOT drafting a QB in the 1st round with Beane and McDermott running the show.
Unfortunately you’re correct.
Allen is getting a Year 2 and possibly Year 3 and it will cost them their jobs. Just insane to think they scouted him at Wyoming struggling in the Mountain West and figured they’d morgate their careers on him. Just asinine to me.

Agreed we need to surround him with much more talent but what are talented WR’s and TE’s going to do with his accuracy.
Multiple instances v the Titans where he gave his receivers no chance.
-
We need to seriously look at Justin Herbert next year if he’s available to us

This season wasn’t about wins and losses. It’s about Josh Allen’s development and he looked awful again.
We won in spite of him.

Like trying to throw into the flat but making receivers adjust to catch the ball at their feet. He needs a lot of work on pre-snap recognition as well.
