It’s insane because coming out of East Carolina he broke records for receptions. He had reliable hands. He comes to this level and he immediately has unreliable hands and from Game 1 last year. Really frustrating.

His best position is DE. I’d absolutely love this kid. Hard worker, improved every year, team leader and insane production. A cornerstone of a defense.

Read his analysis on Allen and thought fair enough. Then i read the excuses he made for Rosen and Darnold and said yeah okay. Maybe he’s not being fair here.

If Daboll actually gets HC looks he'd rise to the top of my rankings. I'd bring him anyway and let Culley go. I also like Matt Canada.

He's an absolute stud and he gives our Defense that attitude we need. People will flip if we take him but I don't know he turns our really good defense to elite. Imagine having a CB core of White, Williams, Wallace and Johnson.

Not the sexiest pick but he's going to be a great pro for 10 years. It also allows us to move Dion Dawkins to LG. Wyatt Teller to RG which would effectively leave us with C and RT as positions of need. That's where Matt Paradis-C Broncos and Daryl Williams-T Panthers come in. In one off-season we've effectively rebuilt our OL and protect our biggest asset.

He's raw but I like him and again McDermott deserves the benefit of the doubt when it comes to DB's and LB's. I trust him.

Bring him in as QB coach

I love Kelvin Harmon. Not as explosive as Metcalf or big but he's probably going to run a 4.5 and he has good size at 6'2 216. For a junior he's got the nuances down on playing the position. Check again on Metcalf though. Other than the size and athletic ability his biggest strength is his release and the separation he creates and unlike AJ Brown who strictly plays in the slot he's always on the perimeter. He only runs three routes at the moment but he's a mega talent. It's more likely we're going with Ed Oliver, Clelin Ferrell, Josh Allen or Greedy Williams with our first pick anyways.

Josh Allen and Tremaine Edmunds were physical freaks that were considered projects. Metcalf has a lot of room to grow but I wouldn't be surprised if Beane fell in love with him.

Matt Paradis-C and Daryl Williams-RT are the OL I want in FA. That's two areas of need solved. I think we can get an Alex Bars or Beau Benzschawel in the 3rd or 4th to solve the RG position. And you're correct with the Metcalf take. He's the only guy I consider in the Top 10 if we can get his injury record cleared. I really like Kelvin Harmon too but this is about 20 spots too high for him. Great player but he's not Oliver or Williams and he's a sketchy character guy which McBeane will not want

Beane is hinting on BPA. I love D.K. Metcalf but I think a Top 5 pick might be too high.

Let's not anoint him yet. Big improvement thus far but no victory laps. Next 4 games will be fun. Really hoping we can go into the off season feeling pretty secure about our Franchise QB.
