I'll take a flier on him in the 5th and let him RS his first season. He was a Top 50 pick last year. He would've been taken in the first two rounds this year. That doesn't really chance because of the injury. Great locker room kid too. Worth a punt.
Those numbers for Ed Oliver are amazing. There were rumors he'd be 6'0 275. So to come in at 6'2 287 is amazing. He's going to run a 4.6 and his 10 yard splits, cone, shuttle will break the spectrum. He might not even be there at #9 when we pick.
Measured in nicely today at the combine
6-4 6/8 and 251 pounds. I thought he was coming in at 6'3. Positional value matters and he's not explosive any way but he's just so good and is a devastating blocker as well. Definitely in play at #9 along with Jonah Williams, Ed Oliver and D.K. Metcalf.
Why are people ignoring the 'at least' part. He's saying 21 is the least you can score in a game and have a chance to win meaning he wants to score more.
The rumors surrounding Metcalf right now are out of control. People are saying he's going to run a 4.39. He might not even be there at #9 at this point.
Passed for 2074 yards, ran for 631 yards in 11 games. If he stays healthy and naturally improves from Year 1 to Year 2 we can see a jump like this. Not to mention you think we'll have more weapons for him as well. I'm super excited.
