  1. I never got into that show, but every once in a while I remember the scene in the boat in the first episode where the younger son has taken cartography classes or something and he goes to the map and goes "okay, we know the blue is the land.." Makes me chuckle everytime.
  2. One trade down, and then two moves up to snag specific guys that fit what I wanted. I like the idea of getting four or five guys in the top 100 or so. Hard to imagine many 6th and 7th rounders getting many reps (or making the team) on this roster.
  3. Eskeridge has a pro-comp as Steve Smith on the Draft network. Obviously those aren't worth much, but he does look like he plays like a dog, which I like. Yeah, I doubt we go LB early unless JOK falls.
  4. Two things: What do you think about D'wayne Eskridge as a Bills target? Also, I have seen Daniel Jeremiah all over Jamin Davis and has even said he might end up being a first round pick... thoughts? Reminds me of Jeremiah being super high on Duggar last year before anyone else was.
  5. Players that switch positions are not required to change numbers unless they change teams. (At least that is how it used to be, I think it is still this way?) Also, I hate this idea. I’m a traditionalist. I still hate WR’s in teens and LB’s in 40’s.
  6. Damn. They can draft a whole bunch of DL to trade 3 years in to mediocre careers...
  7. I'm not saying Darnold will bounce back, but Tannehill is the obvious comp. Getting out of that dumpster fire might do wonders for him. Besides, my best guess on this is that they held the "we want desaun card" so tightly that they got out maneuvered by SF and now that DW is clearly not an option they had to fold that hand and get something. 4th best QB in the class isn't worth it if you're not in love with him. This is also stoking my newly found "Justin Fields to the Broncos" idea that I love.
  8. Teddy was good/very good the first half of the year and then he collapsed. I think the offense was well built and user friendly and made him look good and then defenses caught up. Every panthers game I watched was him having the ball and a timeout or two and 50-120 seconds to go 70 yards to tie/win and he just looked awful every single time.
  9. Well cool, now I can root for Darnold to be amazing. Also, it was barely a conversation anymore, but now it's definite: Desaun aint gettin traded.
  10. He measured a bit bigger and a bit slower, but I don’t know how his play speed stacks up.
  11. I have so many questions about balance and cutting and speed... How?.... First round, confirmed.
  12. Gunner on punt teams is a plus. We need to get some guys who can contribute on OF/DEF and special teams and move some of the special team only guys off the roster without losing ST production.
  13. He looks pretty slow in highlights I've seen. Maybe he has "get up speed" where his long strides can get him down field quick on a clean break, but I don't see the beating off the line speed needed to create seperation in the league. Cade Johnson is an interesting SWR option. Looks like a tough guy who loves to get dirty in the middle of the field. Draft Network compared him to Doug Baldwin, and Jim Nagy at the Senior Bowl loves him. Also, Pooka Williams has a skill set that I could get behind: Speed and catching out of the backfield.
  14. I wouldn't be shocked to see Dane Jackson in the running for NCB after this year if we don't keep TJ.
  15. I think we'll get a unique look at what they think Epy can be this year in the first couple rounds. There isn't much to love at edge between picks 30-80, but then there are some intriguing prospects after that, might just not have much role in year one.
  16. Jones and Weaver are interesting prospects out of Pittsburgh. Cover1's draft guy was on a podcast the other day talking about how they fit what Beane and McD like at DE. Will be interesting to see. I think the closer we get the more people are kind of questioning the Edge setup here. I will say, I have seen some things that have Paye dropping lower with higher traits guys like Phillips and Rous. going before him. You see him as a fit here if he somehow gets down to 30?
  17. I'm kinda starting to fall in love with Alim McNeil, DT.... I love his size and explosive qualities. He'd be a great 1 tech rotational and develop type guy.
  18. This. He wants to be a distraction and the juice ain't worth the squeeze. No way I'm fielding 5 questions about why my Backup QB did x y or z every press conference.
  19. I'm all about Ihmir Smith-Marsette in the 5th range. Love his downfield skillset and return plus, and I'm absolutely fine if he only see's 25 targets this year and just learns from the room. He looks a bit like a bigger, slightly slower John Brown to me.
  20. can someone explain this to me? No idea what this rule is, what it means, or why it should be changed...?
  21. More like the 46 year old Bangladesh man catfishing impersonation version of me....
  22. You don’t trade down to get player X. You trade up to get player X. Trading down is because there is no player you must have, so the added value in later picks is worth more to you than the players available.
