  1. I personally would be happy to play the titans with 20% of their roster disqualified. I think the problem isn’t what the titans have, it’s that the virus is still showing up in new spots. If come Tuesday you’re still getting positives, you can’t assume that the other players are safe to play.
  2. the 22 includes staff. Right now I think they have like 10 or so players on the covid list.
  3. I still struggle to blame the NFL for one team flipping them off and saying “we got this B word” I guess the proof will be in the pudding of punishment as to whether they’re going to allow this to derail the season.
  4. The biggest problem with trying to reschedule the game for sometime in the next 7 days is that you have no reason to believe the tests will stop coming back positive. You could jack up the whole schedule and then still have to cancel the damn game.
  5. One time driving to Jackson Hole I fell asleep entering Kansas and woke up in Nebraska.
  6. Just don’t kill @YoloinOhio- we need that beloved bot and it’s sources of information in this difficult time...
  7. “Bills Mafia, where diversity is key. We can crash tables, we can crash cars, we can do it all!”
  8. I think it’s really ironic that a BB disciple is wrecking the league with his carelessness about rules, while BB and the pats seem to be locked down and taking this seriously... it’s almost like losing players is bad for your competitive capacity.
  9. They probably could have done a better job giving flexibility in the schedule, but the reality is that if the titans had anything but ***** for brains, we would still be in a pretty smooth sailing position right now. The protocols work well. The titans need to be shot.
  10. I think the most prudent thing would be to scrap the game right now. Call it a postponed indefinitely. If you have more situations like this down the line and have to add a week 18, put it there. If not, and if it can be proved that the Titans negligence caused this, have it be a forfeit.
  11. yep... and there’s really no reason to believe the tests will stop coming back positive. We know they didn’t follow protocol, we know they met off site...
  12. To quote the kids: “whoop there it is.” This is wrong. The League is handling it very well- one team f-ing everything up is not the fault of the league.
  13. Especially considering how well the protocols are working elsewhere.
  14. How concrete is that? I was under the impression that they were given a “don’t gather” order when the facilities shut down, and then the league included language in the 10/1 memo so that it would be consistent- if facilities are closed, teams aren’t to meet.
  15. Well damn. Guess I can take the family apple picking on Sunday.
  16. I’m still confused on this timeline... Todays results are Wednesday’s tests (which we haven’t seen yet). Tomorrow’s results are Today’s tests. Wouldn’t we know tomorrow AM if they have b2b negative test days and they can practice Friday?
  17. No offense intended, I just don’t get people worried about why a decision hasn’t been made yet... if the bills prepare for the game up until stepping on the plane, only for it to be canceled, they’re not really losing anything. If there’s a chance to play (which it seems there is) obviously it makes sense to wait and see.
  18. Why wouldn’t it be safe? If we get clean tests from now to Sunday it’s a pretty good indicator that the outbreak is ramping down... to me at least, that seems safer than teams playing when they have just one positive test shortly before the game.
  19. Sounds like the Pats are doing the protocols right- good job. I would love to see the Broncos steal a W from the pats down their two most important players.
  20. Wait and see is actually a good method I think... there’s still a chance the titans can be cleared to play and so far this season the wait and see approach by the league has worked decently well. The bills can prepare for the game and worst case scenario, have some down time. They’re not going to lose anything by practicing and keeping a normal rhythm.
  21. Just seeing this... freaking amazing. There’s also a hold on Brown. Unfortunately it seems all but certain that Daboll will be leaving us after this year. (Fingers crosses he sucks at interviews)
