I love Josh Allen, but the guy has some psycho in him... that being said, I don’t know if he is where he is if his development didn’t include so much up and down. He thrives by getting his ass kicked and coming back for more and to figure it out. 2018 was a lot of ass kicking that I think he needed.

The deep miss to Diggs stung, given where we’re at so far this year, and the timing miss to Beasley across the middle late in the game stung as well (though I wonder how much of that was Beasley adding extra flourish on his route and not being where Allen expected him- Allen still needs to make the throw) That Brown drop is the big what if for me. Josh came out not mentally where he needed to be (my biggest complaint about him so far in three years is how his emotional swings impact his play) but completions calms him down. Brown catches that and we continue to move the ball and I think we see a very different game - at least on Allen’s side of things.

It’s really ridiculous how misused he is. To think they’re asking him to catch the game sealing pass when he should just be used to... carry the bags? Obviously one play doesn’t define a player, but if Knox drops that pass here we’d be discussing which flavor of dry rub to use on him for the rotisserie.... I’m feeling lemon pepper myself.

Oliver progressed down the stretch last year and started looking better and we had high hopes coming into this year, but with the whole defense going to pot it’s been hard to really judge any specific player properly.
