  1. What needs to happen for the Dolphins to miss? Aside from a loss, obviously.
  2. I think this is the right move. I get that injuries are a concern, and you have to be cautious, but the best LT in the league just got lost for the playoffs for the #1 seed in the NFC cause he stepped wrong in practice... there’s only so much you can control. Here’s some things we can control: - We can control our momentum. It’s higher now than it’s ever been. - we can control our seeding. The higher the seed, the better advantages there are. - we can control our record. Wins matter. We have a winning culture and playing any game to lose is against that culture. - we can control our division. We’re the authority in the AFC east now. Go 6-0 and tell the Dolphins they aren’t getting a free ticket to the playoffs. Obviously you don’t want an injury in a meaningless game- but I’m not sure this counts as that. I think we have more to play for this week than we did last year this time. Go Bills! *author reserves the right to ignore these things he truly believes and shout angrily if anyone gets hurt. Agreed. We played to win every week in 2017 even though it was pretty clear we didn’t have a SB team. Winning culture > all else.
  3. You have to wonder if riding the pine makes it a little less incentivizing to be completely locked down/careful.
  4. If Josh doesn’t see a full game, I’m all about seeing Webb or Fromm. Barkley is mostly boring. Let’s get an unknown out there.
  5. As someone said above, I expect they will put Josh in long enough to get the passing record, and to give Diggs a lock on the receiving lead. It also helps keep rust off, and it gives them a picture of the Dolphins if we end up facing them in WC week.
  6. No. Allen developed in his situation. He grew. He didn’t make the same mistake time and again. Darnold was more pro-ready and he was given every benefit of the doubt while Josh was criticized at every possible turn. Darnold is a bust. Maybe he can salvage some of his career, but he’s not anything in the stratosphere or Josh.
  7. The winner of this game will be shish-ka-bobed by Bama. Down 21.... let’s run our QB!
  8. Lawrence looks like such a douche. I wouldn’t hate rooting against him.
  9. Are we actually glad that the Jets pissed away Lawrence? I don't watch much college football, but he doesn't look like a world changing QB prospect...
  10. First time they gave us pads they taught us: Dip, hip, lift, drive. dip: drop your head and lower your shoulders hip: aim your shoulder for the hip of the runner lift: wrap arms around waist and lift drive: follow through and drive your guy into the dirt. 47 was lining up perfectly and The QB spun into him hitting his helmet. Also, me likey the Trey Sermon. I liked him at OU cause I read somewhere that he was a great pass blocker. Now I really like him.
  11. As things stand now, they'll be playing the Bears. That makes sense as a 1pm sunday game.
  12. Interesting... assuming the false positive can only be declared if there are no symptoms?
  13. I don’t know either. @Hapless Bills Fan - do you know what the rule is day wise?
  14. I think I remember hearing something about a different policy if there’s no symptoms? I dunno...?
  15. Go find my predictions in those other threads. Not jinxed. Straight facts homie. 😜
  16. Prior to the current 4 game win streak, in the 49ers week thread, I declared that we were winning the next two. I said to take it to the bank. It was going to happen. After we won those two, I said in the Broncos thread that I knew for a fact we were going to roll the Broncos. Before the Pats game I didn’t say anything because I was scared - I knew we were going to roll them but I didn’t know how to put that into words because it was the overlords. We were going to punch them in the face, but I didn’t know what that would look like. Now I do. Since that game, I have the same knowledge about this: The Bills are going to win the Super Bowl. I don’t know what it will look like, but I know it will happen. There it is. Take it to the bank, put a bow on it, slip it in the stocking as a belated gift. Stake out your spot on the SB parade, and bookmark this post to flame away if need be. Also, doing some LAMP shopping if anyone has any suggestions...... P.S. - things I think, but don’t know (as I know we will win the SB) - I think we will win Sunday irregardless or who plays for how long, and the Dolphins will miss the playoffs. - I think we will host the AFC championship game. I want to face the chiefs, but I think they’ll get picked off and the SB will run through Buffalo, as it should. - I think Aaron Rodgers will have a bad game this weekend and the MVP debate will get close between him and Allen, but the pro-Rodgers narrative of the year will sway to him and he’ll get MVP. - I think the Bills will face Green Bay in the Super Bowl, I think much will be made of the historical nature of each club, and I think much will be made of the small market realities of the teams. - I think Allen will outduel Rodgers in the SB, winning SB MVP and leaving many to re-evaluate the season MVP and if Allen got a little screwed due to the Rodgers name. - I think that Nick Wright and other such anti-Allen media members will popularize the “Great team win, congrats Bills mafia” type tweets that ignore Allen and try to abdicate their own idiocy. ^ the above are not guarantees, and them happening or not does not change the overall premise of my thread, which is the Bills winning the SB. Feel free to put your own postseason feelings and knowings below, if you have the guts....
  17. My thought was to go full tournament and forget the conferences once the regular season is over: Break the 14 teams into brackets and then let them play it out to the SB.
