  1. when it’s put that way it definitely seems more doable. That’s essentially saying you’d trade him for Dawson Knox and Zach Moss, which I think most of us would....
  2. Daboll is easy to say his loss would be huge. Frazier is much harder because it’s so much harder to tell what his specific value is. I’d be fine with finding out, but I’m happier to keep him. Replacing our missing 4th with a 3rd would be very nice though...
  3. an interesting idea. personally I would tell anyone I liked to stay farrrrr from that place. That being said, we’d get a couple third rounders if it did happen.
  4. My thoughts exactly... you had a chance to put the little brother down and keep him there. Instead you let him get back up and he made you pay.
  5. When she’s picking us she’s an amazing genius. When she picks against us she’s just up there for her looks. it’s a pretty easy algorithm.
  6. The narrative surrounding this game is exposing so many idiots: ”Wow, the Ravens had such a gutsy performance against a team that is at or below the Colts quality. They are really surging.” ”oh my goodness, the bills playing the colts close is so so concerning!”
  7. Media types acting lie they just hired peak Hoody. They can’t not slobber all over the Jets. And one QB who has recently embarrassed each and every one of them.....
  8. - Patriots example: I honestly wouldn’t have appreciated it. Let the play on the field do the talking. We’ve done little trolling things in the past, but usually it’s within the team to hype one another (dancing to renegade) not a shot at the other team. But that’s more preference than anything. Peters is kind of a d-bag, so no surprise there. 😛 - I wonder if we will try to exploit that with our speed - getting down field and taking shots to force you to hold/pi. - yep. If it’s just a matter of each of us playing to our strengths, Pass always beats run. But it’ll be a situation to see who has the cleaner game.
  9. Yep. So knowing that he and Daboll have done well against that this year is encouraging.
  10. I can’t remember either... you’d imagine a vet has more discipline than the younger guy, and I do remember Johnson blowing contain a few times in his limited snaps...
  11. Zaven Collins is quickly becoming a favorite of mine, but he’s one of those guys whose gonna fly up draft boards and go top 15. This is a weird draft. I can see places we need help: CB, TE, IOL, DL, but there isn’t one need that is any more critical than the others.
  12. This is the most encouraging thing I’ve seen with relation to this game. The one thing I think of whenever I consider this matchup is them just constantly blitzing Josh last year and him being a deer in headlights.
  13. The Bills and the Browns did really well in WC weekend..................... 😏
  14. It’s two different models. Bills with Allen said “let’s develop him to turn his weaknesses into strengths” while the Ravens said “let’s hide his weaknesses with his strengths.” Neither is a bad philosophy and both have had success, but you have to wonder where Jackson’s really at as far as development and overcoming his weaknesses.
  15. This isn’t a “Lamar is a RB” post, but why is it that RB’s value decreases so much? 2 main reasons: - Number of hits they deal with while running (which applies, though Lamar is great at protecting his body.) - the severity to which an injury or continued injuries limit their ability. As soon as a RB loses a fraction of his speed, or agility, or as soon as his body is just a little less able to make the things happen that it always has - it’s over. Lamar feels that way to me. If Lamar was hobbled by a sprained ankle, and can’t run - what happens to the offense? That’s something the Ravens need to consider. The margin of error is much smaller.
  16. There’s a minutia to the game that you don’t necessarily want a young back figuring out in the playoffs. Where to line up, where to be when the QB needs an emergency outlet, what blitzer is his, when to cover the ball when you sense someone coming from behind. Williams has the value of knowing the playbook better, but freeman offers better knowledge base in general. He’s also likely just insurance as Stills is. Anybody know if he has to go through the 5 day window, if he’s coming right from another team?
  17. Here’s my question... are the Titans better than the Colts? Cause we and the Ravens both won close games last week, but the Ravens stock seems to be up and ours down...?
  18. Crazy note for this weekend: Average age of AFC starting QB’s: 24.5 Average age of NFC starting QB’s: 37 Crazy disparity in the landscape of young star QB’s in the league right now. Your mouth to God’s ears.
