  1. No, they'll likely cut him outright and not be able to move him. I think his cap number is like $15m if he's on the roster and 0 dead money if they cut him. Nooooo! I want my 3rd round picks!
  2. *Whole league clamoring for Watson* *Brandon Beane Sliding into Easterbe's DM's: "Yeah, hi... I'll take JJ Watt for this Ford Pinto. Great. Thanks."
  3. Yeah... Orlovsky is a great football mind, but he isn't one to play the insider game, so this struck me as specifically intriguing...
  4. Best case scenario for us might be the Dolphins making a play for him (plus all their players salivating on social media over him) only to miss out/he not get traded and the Dolphins then being like: "eyyyyy Tua, my man.... You are just... the best...."
  5. My understanding was that they specifically said he'd have an opinon/role and then they cut him out. If so, that's understandable frustration. Also, lets not forget that it's possible to have Desaun Watson and still suck (clearly) so teams that can offer a kings ransom for him have to be one of two things: Rebuilding with a ton of extra draft capital (Jets, Jags, Phins) or ready to compete now needing a QB. How many teams can afford to lose 6 or more premier picks over the next 3 years and be okay, even with a good QB? That's why the 49ers make the most sense to me. They have a roster that would instantly compete for the SB with Watson dropped in there.
  6. Fair enough... What I mean by that is there won't be any "they have to trade him so lets sit back and wait for their price to come down." discount. If he gets moved it'll be the biggest comp package in history. Cincy is borderline. I would doubt they'd give up as much as all that is required... Here's a question though... Lawrence (#1) + what gets Watson? So stupid.
  7. Usually I agree with this - that a team with a player who has made it clear he wants out cant get good value for him - but not this time. They will be able to get anything they want for him.
  8. Pretty simple. Would you rather face Baker Mayfield at home or Patrick Mahomes in Arrowhead with a trip to the dance on the line? I'm happy with our chances either way, but it's a totally different game if it's the Browns.
  9. Being a douche.... But seriously... He's like a more athletic Kirk Cousins... Accurate, but makes poor decisions. Okay arm strength, but isn't gonna blow you away, can escape the pocket but isn't a threat to run much... in a league of ever expanding horizons he's an okay QB.
  10. I would sincerely love the Browns beating the Chiefs. Nick Wrong might just concave into himself with his giant ***** shaped nose imploding.
  11. Maybe the Chargers don't want to wait and pull the tricker on the young buck?
  12. This is an interesting note, but not winning by a full touchdown for like two and a half months is still concerning. However it's happening. Besides, going back November 1, when you blew out the Jets, the Panthers, Raiders, Broncos, Saints and Falcons were all right there with you throughout the game, while the Dolphins and Bucs did the come from behind thing you mention - but even in those games, it wasn't like you were up 50 and let them claw back. Not saying any of this is relevant to the game today, but the closeness of the games isn't as overdone a narrative as you present. I personally don't care - win by 3, win by 33. It is what it is.
  13. I don't think it's so much about us as it is about them... They've now had their offense exposed in back to back playoffs and it just isn't working. Something has to give. They either have to commit to having more balance and improving Jackson as a passer/surround him with legitimate weapons, or they need to give up on Lamar and start looking for the exit plan. Here's what I expect they'll do: Draft linemen on both sides, sign an uninspiring WR, draft a fast WR late in the draft, and pickup a RB in the top 3 rounds to replace Edwards. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
  14. But hot in like a, when you try to get to the toilet to puke but it ends up all over you and its that gooey warm feeling of shame and disgust...
  15. The wide angle is even better as it shows lamar watching on. As much as was made about Lamar v. Allen, it really came down to which one didn't make the mistake. (and a lucky bounce on the fumble)
