  1. That's obviously fake news. He has the same trade scenario pinned on his feed from a week ago.
  2. I will say, I heard an interesting piece on Move the Sticks podcast a couple months ago about how they (Brooks and Jeremiah) were wondering if the league was moving away from this. They said if they were to put it into terms now they would say 12 blue chip/above average players to make a contender. 1 QB (obviously) 3 Offensive playmakers/difference makers 3 Offensive linemen 2 Pass rushers 3 Back end defenders who make a difference. So for us that would look like: Allen McCoy?, ?, ? Dawkins, Teller?, ? Hughes, Alexander? White, Poyer, Hyde (but edmunds and Milano would be on this list as well.) I thought it was an interesting idea because it takes away from the idea of position and looks more at overall quality of the team at the various levels. It doesn't matter if you have a stud CB if you have two good safeties who can cover some of the blank spots (they spoke about how CB play in the NFL is getting worse and worse and less valued as well). I think the idea here is that it's about finding playmakers and then building a system to fit them. They also spoke a bit about how positions are becoming more vague in the NFL these days. It really made me think.
  3. Bills seem to be in better shape with those four mains than they have been in a long while. (need more consistency at LT, and maybe another pass rusher.)
  4. Clark is more productive, but the argument could be made that a 1 for 1 trade is stagnant, not forward progress. I would prefer to have Hughes and Clark together!
  5. If the Hawks really did want to move him (believing they can't get a deal done) that wouldn't be a horrible trade for them. Probably have to sweeten it with a third next year though.
  6. "Breaking news in the NFL today as Raiders receiver Antonio "big chest" Brown has been declared out forever due to what is being described as the worst pectoral tear ever document in modern history."
  7. man ***** that guy. I hope he gets too close to the razor when trimming that nasty ass mustache and cuts his face and can never be seen in public without that elephant costume for fear of embarrassment.
  8. But can he be raped on the way to a game winning touchdown and no flag thrown? Cause if so, they still wont make the SB. At least if that were to happen Brown would legitimately beat a ref to death...
  9. Ah... One of the more mysterious figures in game show history... I loved that show, even with that cue ball asshat.
  10. Beane seems like the kind who would pick up the phone and say "the offer is now ____" (insert something significantly less)
  11. High for me is top 3 rounds... I don't see them moving him for less unless they really don't believe they can get him on a long term deal.
  12. A high pick plus a big contract for clark and a first rounder for a pass rusher? That's a bit much. I would rather give a pick for clark and then take a penetrating DT later in the draft. That would go a long way to building out our DL.
  13. I do expect the bills to make a big splash trade in the next couple days... It feels that way.
  14. I'm waiting for Parker or Sills to get cut. Also, my guess on Amendola is that he's already on the plane North to NE.
  15. I think for two firsts a team can take a franchised player- not a trade specifically. The team that assigns the tag can trade him for whatever they want to if they feel they will not be able to sign him long term. I wouldn't want to give more than a 3rd for Clark with the thick DL draft ahead. Maybe a third and swap of firsts, which would be beneficial to us anyways.
  16. Saw Schrager predict this on GMFB. Also stated Matthews going there makes a ton of sense.
  17. Daryl Williams, TJ Lang, Matt Paradis (Mitch Morse), Wyatt Teller, Dion Dawkins
  18. Trade back in the first and pick up an extra second, use one of the seconds on Deboo Samuel, then take Sills in the 4th.
