  1. Wonder what this does for Williams contract expectations.
  2. I mean, the Bengals just gave a giant contract to a horrible tackle... Maybe we can call and offer to give them a cold if they give us Green.
  3. I mean, Barr was believed to be a pass rushing OLB coming out of college. He worked decently for Minnesota as an off ball, but reinvention to a pass rusher might be good for him. Hopefully not.
  4. Ummm... might want to check with Poyer about that number. I wonder if he’ll sell it to him?
  5. https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-2019-nfl-free-agency-tracker PFF has a nice live stream for anyone interested.
  6. Love it! Now give me either Saffold and Williams and then a serviceable third. (Williams and TJ Lang would be nice.)
  7. Nope. It can't be. We're sitting on our hands watching the time go by. Impossible.
  8. Step One: Go to top of this thread. Step Two: Click "Moderation Actions Tab" Step Three: Click Delete Button Step Four: Flourish.
  9. Not that this precludes them from taking Bosa, but it definitely adds gas to the Murray fire.
  10. Do please tell me what greatly talented players have been gotten rid of and not replaced? Was it Stephon Gilmore who admitted he didn't want to be in buffalo and has been thoroughly replaced by Tre White? Was it Ronald Darby who didn't fit our scheme and has played in less than half the games since he left due to being injury prone? Was it the criminally overpaid Marcell Dareus who recently took a pay cut to stay on a 5 win team? Was it Sammy "the decoy" Watkins who has been on two teams since we got rid of him and has averaged 39.5 catches on prolific offenses? Was it the two best linemen that we had who both retired for reasons beyond the staffs control? Was it our marginally starting QB who got benched last year and is now a Free agent looking for work from the dolphins who just need someone to hold the candle while they tank? Seriously, I agree that they need to add talent, but the only player that has been let go since McBeane took over whom really was worth anything was Robert Woods.
  11. I like it. I remember hearing this guy was an ascending player a couple years ago but dropped off. Makes sense as a vet addition.
  12. I think something to realize with the Gore Signing is this: Supposedly, this past weekend we got spurned by a "star" (read: egotistical baby with an overdone sense of self) who said he didn't want to play here (this has been debated, but the rumor is there non-the-less and with it comes the bad optic) Today we signed one of the OG stars left in the NFL. One of the truest professionals, a guy who is widely respected in the league and who, even at his age, commands and deserves respect. I think it makes sense really. Not sure if they were thinking that way, but I like it. Plus, someone posted where we can cut Ivory and essentially we get Gore for 400k.
  13. First does not = Biggest or brightest. Aside from Foles and maybe Flowers, most of the guys who have signed today are lesser players whose agents are working overtime. We're fine.
  14. Wisniewski played very well during their superbowl win...he might be at cheap option at guard. Possible... Different kinds of recievers, so if they were willing to let him go before it might not change unless the money is there now.
  15. four and a half!! that 30 minutes is critical because it obviously proves we're asleep at the switch. duh.
  16. Give him beer, wings, and women. In whatever order he desires.
  17. I don't think we have anything to worry about when the Bengals, the Raiders, and the Redskins are making moves. These are the guys who run a 5 minute mile in the first mile of the marathon and then are out by mile 5.
