  1. So what you're saying is the Jets beat the Patriots twice, we sweep the division, and then we win the Superbowl. Sounds good to me.
  2. It'll really depend on Mayfield, but the truth is that that Division has gone backwards, with them being the one exception.
  3. Bodines status will tell us if they envision Spencer Long starting at Guard or not.
  4. Well, right now would you rather have Josh Allen/Sam Darnold going into their second year with Nick Chubb and Odell Beckham in their offense, or Eli Manning with a good running back and no start receiver? sont get me wrong, Odell is an idiot and it won’t be long before he blows up. That being said, trading him wasn’t the problem- it was the song and dance and insisting that they were good and weren’t trading him.
  5. What do the Giants gain by trading him? I thought they kissed and made up last year...
  6. I wouldn't mind signing him, but I definitely don't want to overpay.
  7. AHAHAHA! This is actually the best Free Agency thing to happen to the Bills. Although this is really the problem with the tampering phase- players don't have time to make decisions that respect their desires.
  8. just run the pistol. Edit: I don't think that is what I think it is. ah well.
  9. That's not a horrible deal for either side... Not sure I understand the Giants insistence on trading OBJ though?...
  10. So, our team has had a good day adding pieces, the jets got dumped at the alter, and the Dolphins were told to keep steppin... This is a good day!
  11. Age doesn't bother me that much- just his heavy load as a Steeler. I think the biggest concern with the year off is degeneration of football muscle. Some of that can be bought back with hard work, but the reality of it is that most of these guys have been using their body for this sport their entire adult life. All the little muscles and tendons are used to this specific job and this specific workload. Now, after a year of atrophy (especially if he was really up to 260, like the rumors say) and you have to wonder about the ACL's and the Achillies' and the Hamstrings. It's just something to worry about and the problem is that it's not really testable... (and the flip side could be that he comes back better than ever and well rested, who knows.) Also an important thing to think about is that he's been off NFL radar for a year... who knows what injuries (a torn pec while lifting? Strained hamstring while running?) he might have had- or the other side of that - drugs and alcohol. It's not a deal breaker per se, just makes me hesitant before overpaying.
  12. Oops. Must have accidentally gotten deleted. It would be Beasley of Course. I want us to get a big receiver.
  13. Oof... That's hard for me to like. I don't love his attitude (although I didn't so much mind the holdout), I question his effectiveness after a year off, and I don't like how many touches he had last year. I guess I would rather spend that on Rodger Saffold and then draft Devin Singletary in the third round of the draft...
  14. Not surprising at all. It was always a joke that he thought he'd get 15+ a year.
  15. QB - Josh AllenRB - LeSean McCoyWR - John Brown/Robert FosterWR - Kelvin Harmon(JJ Arcega-Whiteside) /Zay JonesTE - Tj Hockenson /Tyler KroftLT - Ty NsekheLG - Wyatt TellerC - Mitch MorseRG - Spencer LongRT - Dion Dawkins Looks pretty damn good to me. (Guards being the biggest ?)
