That’s a sack inflated system. He could get 10-15 sacks and cash in big if he can stay healthy.

Buffalo Bills TE Tommy Sweeney is a 70's throwback
whatdrought replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe last years Gronk, when he ran like a Hippo... Sweeney looks very clunky when he runs- likely not the best athlete. Gronk, in his prime, was a smooth sunofabench. -
The NFL's Top Remaining Free Agents

Well the fireworks thing was stupidity, not bad luck.. I can't find what happened during the accident, but single car accidents have a track record of being self inflicted, so it might just be that he's a few fries short of a happy meal (or a few fingers short of a full fist...). -

Team QB Situations according to Yardbarker
whatdrought replied to Bongo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lol. I have stood against Josh Rosen since last draft season. I don’t care for him for a plethora of reasons but the main one is I just don’t have a good feeling about him. My feelings usually do well for me, so I trust it. That being said, I am expecting him to flame hard in Miami. I could definitely be wrong, but I am looking forward to seeing what happens. Also, any objective football fan who sees the jets doing anything but imploding with Darnold being “meh” probably aren’t being real about the situation. -
My favorite part of that is that Beane owns the room. You’ve got the owner and the head coach sitting there right next to him, but they’re both absolutely fine letting him do his job while checking in here and there. This is segmentation of the organizational flowchart that makes for successful businesses. When you have your franchise QB and a young nucleous of talent, the next step is adding blue chip players. I think they believe Oliver to be that. I’m glad we got him!

“Still Miles Away” -Colin Cowherd
whatdrought replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm sorry, but Colin Cowerd is schmuck. I've thought that for a long time and it has nothing to do with anti-bills statements. Now, about what he said, we really are miles away until we show that we're not. But if he thinks the dolphins are a contender with Rosen, then he's in the lump of media idiots who can't let go of their predraft lovefest for Rosen. -
I'd love to see that with a breakdown of first half vs. second half. I think the rebuild of the WR room they did on the fly last year was really quite impressive. (still some boneheaded drops in the second half though)

Tyreek Hill Battery & Child abuse thread
whatdrought replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think, without knowing a whole lot about the AP deal, that it really should be a lot worse for Hill. I could be wrong, but Hill's record, mixed with the threats directed at the woman and the child really paint the picture of him not learning from this and never being trusted to a point of playing again. The timeline is all different due to the offseason vs. in season. Not as much of a distraction, not gonna risk W's, not going to be as in the public eye. Same reason he isn't (at my last knowledge) on the Commish's exempt list yet. -

Grading the Draft Graders?....
whatdrought replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
*insert joke about your maternal parent here* Besides. It’s post-draft. What the heck else is there to get worked up about? I have seen the error of my ways.. I’m a thin-skinned philistine. Thank god I have seen the light... at least i never stooped to the level of responding to thin-skinned philistines on message boards and lecturing them about their thin-skinnedness.. from that there cannot be hope for a return... -
Not necessarily... We have all year to sign him to an extension. It's ridiculous to overpay someone because we think he could develop. Payment without proper production lead to Ryan Fitzpatrick being the face of our franchise. It doesn't work. The jump was from bust to average contributor. Also, its a fan made myth that where a player was drafted matters at all.

Pretty much the only thing that needs to be said about this mans understanding of football as it relates to recently drafted players... Yikes thats a steaming hot-pile-of-poo-take -
I'm excited to see what number Singletary takes... Not much left in the 20's. Maybe 41 or 43 ala Kamara or Sproles?

TBN: Way-too-early 53-man roster projection
whatdrought replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If it was actually 6 WR. But really what his breakdown has is 4 WR's and a KR. I'd rather have sills or someone with Gore playing the Dimarco role that he had last year. -
Bills historic draft picks - 2nd contracts
whatdrought replied to mushypeaches's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I did hear in a podcast today where the Bengals have the most homegrown talent on their roster with something like 36 players being guys they drafted/brought into the league... Doesn't always prove to be a metric of success. That being said, that list is pretty damning. Hopefully that trend shifts when we make Tre White the highest paid CB in the NFL (When he's the best in 2 years)
