  1. Oliver getting a hell of a welcome to the NFL against Nelson.
  2. Not a bad first series. Definitely some rust, but nothing to be too worried about yet.
  3. Ladies and Gentlemen, the Irish might be the starter...
  4. Some of the comments on that thread show just how far off the ***** cliff we’ve fallen as a society.
  5. Browns need to send a second rounder to Washington for Trent Williams.
  6. I want to see Sweeney against full speed defense. Im also excited to see how our overall depth is... Not sure if it's just cause I'm following closer than usual, but we seem to be a super deep team this year.
  7. Start a thread asking if Trump colluded and or obstructed.
  8. This is good ***** right here, and not just cause you’re ceasing an argument I disagree with. I assume you still have your ideas and your presuppositions, like tasker has his, but you’re not gonna beat a dead horse past the conversation and into oblivion. You two don’t have to agree to walk away friends. Seriously well done.
  9. January 3rd, 2010 (end of 2009 season) Week 17 v. Colts. Win 30-7. Snow game 1. I had to shovel the driveway to get out, then the drive took twice as long. We were at the top of the stadium, wind and snow blowing on us the whole game. Colts only played their starters half way. I got nachos and my jalapeño slices froze.
  10. I know- there’s a lot of issues to deal with, im just making the point about hold outs in general.
  11. Yeah, that’s the issue. I understand wanting to get paid a fair price, but don’t sign a contract unless you’re willing to keep it. Sign a 1 year deal each year and earn a raise if that’s what you want to do, otherwise, play the contract you signed. It’s all just a ploy to get out of training camp and work.
  12. Im aware of that, obviously. But it’s still a breach of contract. When teams breach contract, (cutting a player) they pay whatever penalty is outlined in the contract (usually just giving them the guaranteed money). I just don’t understand how players get off with holding out.
  13. Kelly is too much of a dumbass to suceed. Not crazy to wonder if he’d have a real chance of being the starter (or at least be in Lock’s shows) in Denver right now, if not for his own idiocy.
  14. Maybe beer to start, but definitely something from higher up on the bar wall by the time it’s over..
  15. Why not treat holding out like breach of contract and sue the players? If I was an owner I’d sue them for every dollar I had paid them until that point. Any other business if you sign a contract and then just decide “nah...” there are consequences beyond losing future assets.
