Two things- 1- I expect you to apologize to me. I’ll tell you why later when I think of the reason. (Not that there needs to be a reason, really.) 2- I get what you’re saying, but this is more of a “good of the brand” deal. And it’s not a football specific thing. Companies make blue collar workers wear steal toe boots and other such protective gear. When we’re talking about employement, freedom of choice is tempered by the freedom of the company to enact rules for their employees. He still has the freedom to not play football and lose millions of dollars. He’s shown he’s not willing to stand by that threat. Now, if Uncle Sam came round to my back yard and told my pickup game that we had to wear helmets or else we’d be fined or arrested, you can bet your maple syrupy sweet ass that there’d be a revolution right then and there (likely a short one, as we’re fat, slightly intoxicated, wanna be “operators”.) I imagine in Canada if the Mounties came round and ordered you to do something you’d thank them kindly and offer to buff their Sam Browne while you’re at it...

Lol. I like Prescott as a player and as a person, but that is insane. The best part of this is that that senile old man will likely give it to him. If Dak was smart he’d say “give me whatever money puts me in the top 10 contract wise, and use the rest to bring Cooper and Elliot on board long term.” Still surprising to me that QB’s haven’t learned from Brady. You make more money winning superbowls, even if the contract is less- do you want to be Tom Brady, or Sam Bradford?

Having important players not playing meaningless games? Yeah.. okay. Cohesion is important and that’s why he’ll practice and play later. Just no point in exposing him to any unnecessary risk.

I mean, it’s possible he really is struggling to recover, but how many coaches wouldn’t love to have one of their star players sitting during pre-season? I have a feeling he’ll play in the third game, start practicing before it, and then play the opener without a problem.

The over-under on games he starts has to be close to 6.

How is that helpful? What if we have an injury and he’s the best option? Seems like good intentions, but questionable practice.

Yeah, and that’s a fair concern. Some things (throwing a jump ball when you’re getting nailed) is just bad football choices- again, he was supposed to be “cerebral”.

Rosen had a couple nice throws, but mostly got bailed out by Preston Williams. Overall, poor pocket presence, doesn't seem to make good decisions, and didn't seem to know what was going on around him. The exact stuff Rosen was supposed to be good at, is the very stuff he's not good at.

I've got that one on to see the Murray experience...

Joseph and V. Johnson could really be pieces in the future. Hard not to like the athletic, fast twitch players they've gotten into the depth chart.

I dont think so... Just a guy who plays. There aren't completely distinct levels once you get past the first couple. Also, he's in there with Peko who is a 1 tech, so it could be that Harry is getting a look at the 3 tech?
