Clowney has a known history of playing better down the stretch/in big games. Feel free to disagree about his value, but don’t make stuff up. -

He has to sign his tender, then he can be dealt. That’s why he has some power here- he can simply say “nope, I don’t want to go that team- I won’t sign.” -

Texans have had an interesting night... Lose your starting RB, while having your biggest threat ride into the sunset? Can’t tell if they’re more, or less likely to trade Clowney now... -
Few things- 1- for every million he’s made, he’s leaving 5 for the taking. 2- the publicity of this just increases the difficulty of it. He’s Andrew Luck, NFL QB. That’s his identity, and now he’s re-building himself. 3- I have the same respect for the blue/white collar worker who changes jobs or whatever when he realizes his current situation is strangling the life out of him, we just don’t have threads dedicated to those guys. ?

I hate it. Honestly it made my head spin to read it because he’s so good, and so valuable, and now he’s gone. It’s a blow to the sport of football in general, but I respect his decision and wish him the best.

Thats a grownass man decision right there... when you’ve only ever been one thing in your life, and that’s all anyone wants you to be, and that’s what your best at, to be able to stop doing that for the good of your physical, mental, and emotional health as well as for the good of your family, that takes guts.

I just told my dad yesterday that my Super Bowl prediction was Philly v. Indy... so that went poorly.

How many losing seasons before Irsay makes a sideways comment about "hard to win when guys don't want to be here" or some *****?
-
Not for nothing, but don’t count out Jacoby Brisset- he showed some good stuff on a terrible team with terrible coaching. I wouldn’t be shocked to see Reich turn him into a decent starter.

I'm devestated to see such a great talent walk away in his prime, but I understand the need to protect your future and your family. I blame Jim Irsay and his idiocy for never protecting this guy. The real loser here is Frank Reich.
-
Yeah right. Go to the owners box and execute Jim Irsay in the middle of the horseshoe if you want to blame someone.

Holy *****!...

Does that logic apply to Khalil Mack? I'm fine having the conversation about what Clown boy is worth, but the argument of it being a bad trade if you have to give up compensation and pay the guy just doesn't work in the modern NFL. Teams are realizing that they have to leverage value on young stars that they aren't going to pay. -

Plurality of ideas I guess, but thanks for the education...
