  1. I don’t disagree, but there isn’t a standard of equality in regards to opportunity in the NFL. Foster has earned the Longer leash, and it’s very possible DW could be amazing, but he isn’t gonna get the chance till Fosters leash runs out- which will before too long at this rate. The biggest issue is that none of our WR’s are going to clear waivers, so short of an injury you’re either sacrificing someone with proven production (all of our 6 have that) for someone with potential production. Not to say that it shouldn’t happen, but it’s no easy choice.
  2. I have 3 comments: 1- WR play has been pretty good for what we’ve been asking them to do. We’ll need a couple more games before we’re ready to see what needs to be shaken up. I personally think a 16 game season should be treated like 4 quarters and you try to go 3-1 in each quarter (I heard this from Daniel Jeremiah the other day) - that being said, I don’t think you should rush to make a judgement on close things till the end of the quarter- this seems close so I’m happy waiting. 2- that being said, I would be fine if DW does crack the 53 at some point this season. I like the versatility he brings. But not having room for playmakers is a beautiful beautiful thing these days. 3- Those saying Foster hasn’t done anything need to have a longer memory. Foster earned a long leash in his play last year and I expect him to show up big in the next couple weeks. He has 100% more production at the pro level than Duke Williams. Ps- these buffalo news guys (and gals) better shut their mouth about how impressive our practice squad guys are. We don’t need them poached! ?
  3. I only saw the 4th quarter- Anyone who saw the game entirely shed some light on his decision making? Any truly bad bad decisions made by Allen during this game?
  4. There is a level of precision to his game that even in my wildest dreams I didn't fully expect or hope for. I anticipated him growing into a gunslinging risk taker who made 5 "wow plays" and 3 "wtf" plays and the balance was still positive, but he has shown skills in the short stuff and an ability to be systematic in attacking the defense and it's been incredible. I am still hesitant, cause we've played some bad teams, but we're also a brand new offense so there's an adjustment period until we're at full speed. That being said, if he continues to master this, which was the biggest hole in his game, he may end up being one of the best QB's in the league before the end of this year in his ability to do everything.
  5. This is stupid. Anyone who is upset about this is stupid. Wednesday's are stupid. Any day that isn't Sunday is stupid. Screw Antonio Brown. Screw Tom Brady. Screw the Patriots.
  6. Especially a video hosted on NFL.com with their crappy player that’s 10 years out of date.
  7. Okay, after watching the video I think you’re wrong. Obviously we won’t know the reality of what was supposed to happen, but it looks like his route was supposed to take him to the outside- the throw was late and on the inside. He tried to adjust and couldn’t.
  8. That might be- I’d have to go look at it. Either way, it wasn’t a drop in the traditional sense, to the OP’s original meaning.
  9. I mean, that was only a minimal drop, as far as drops go. Wasn’t a great ball. but either way, Zay has been inconsistent and made a lot of mental mistakes.
  10. Thomas, Kittle, Hopkins, Julio Jones, all good options... I'm not sure about Barkley just cause I think Singletary has been as good as Barkley, we just haven't been giving him the ball. I think Mack makes the most sense though. He would generate so many turnovers in this defense and completely solidify that allowing Allen to continue to have an easy life.
  11. Jet's drama is a sweet, sweet aroma. Actually, I find it quite believable... And expected... They hired two of the biggest idiots in the game to run their team.
  12. I completely spaced on it... It was a fun ride gents! see you next year.
  13. John Brown has impressed me with his crossing routes... seems like every time we need a chunk play, he gets the ball in the middle of the field for 15+ yards.
  14. I thought the league prohibited intentional tanking?... Also, that trade makes zero sense for the Steelers, BEFORE Ben's injury. Also also, are the Dolphins trying to get Tua and Jerry Jeudy?
  15. Unfortunately history doesn’t prove this point. Most guys jump at the chance to get the big seat because it’s realistically impossible to say if the chance will ever come back around.
  16. Great! This means he won’t take a HC job once he makes Allen the next big thing, right?...
  17. Honestly, it might not be a bad thing in the long run for them. I think they’re a pretty bad team right now, and likely will be facing a coach switch without or without Ben. This allows them to see if Rudolph has anything for the future.
  18. It’s not a bad theory, but I hope it’s false... the jets game was close throughout... it turned out okay, but this idea demands that he had a sure thing sitting on the sideline and waited to take advantage of it. That’s not a good gamble.
