  1. Jimmy G threw for 243 yards, 0 td's, and an interception... I don't think Cornerback fixes what ails them.
  2. Lol... The Rams have learned nothing about team building after shooting their shot and getting spanked in the SB. What exactly does this accomplish? Do the 49ers- who just embarrassed you in your house and who you have to beat for the division- even have WR's? We all know that the way to beat the Seahawks is to shutdown.... *googles Seahawks WR's* Dk Metcalf. Big moves to make your team better can be a good idea... This one doesn't make sense in any way.
  3. They’re true. Redskins just don’t know it yet. What a joke that ***** organization is.
  4. The Ravens right behind us kinda ruins it for me. No way the ravens are better than Chiefs and Texans.
  5. @Hapless Bills Fan - can we trade this for my Cam thread?
  6. Three disclaimers: 1- This thread is an excersise in futility as it seems very very unlikely that Cam gets moved. 2- Cam Newton has no place on the Buffalo BIlls. Don't even mention it. That's not what this thread is about. I don't care about the Carolina connection, I don't care about how he fits the Allen style. There's no room on this Bills team for Cam. The only thing less likely than Cam getting traded, is Cam getting traded to the Bills. So don't think I'm suggesting that or thinking it could happen. 3- Mods, if this is worthless let me know and it'll be gone as soon as it came. That being said- Watching this segment of Pat McAfee's show: Left me thinking... Is it possible (as it seems it might be) that Cam's job is there for the taking by the lesser Allen? If that happens, is it then possible that Cam becomes a trade piece? If yes to those two things, where does it make sense for him to go? And if he is going to go, what is a Cam Newton worth at this point in his career, coming off that injury? discuss.
  7. He was being talked about as the best slot corner in the league going into this year... what happened to that ravens Defense?... Jeez. edit: That might be someone else entirely... My bad!
  8. Man... I love this philosophy of teams trading players from their weakest position groups. What a great idea.
  9. Not saying he's Aaron Donald, but Donald only had 1 sack through his first 5 games and then finished his rookie year with 9.
  10. I wonder if teams are keying on him, preventing him from getting sacks. Either way, I expect him to get 2 against the fish.
  11. The top four in the AFC are probably the Pats, Texans, Bills, and Chiefs. We're still early enough in the season that it's hard/impossible to get a true feel for the hierarchy within these four. Week to week there are too many questions: Patriots- what does their offense look like against true NFL defenses? They've seen one and it wasn't at all pretty for them. The Giants gave them a run for their money and they're no world beaters. If TB is having performance issues based on age, those aren't getting easier as the season goes on. Their line is weak and they aren't dominant running like they were last year. Serious red flags there. Texans- Which OL shows up. They're playing really well, but this feels like a team that lacks depth and can't be consistent. Their offensive showings the past two weeks have been incredible, but it was against Swiss cheese defense. Also, Watson is going to get hit- between his style and the still lagging line- what does that look like in December. I also just don't trust BOB much. Chiefs- A team that is waking up to the idea that voluntarily shipping out 20+ sacks probably wasn't a great idea. They don't even try to run, they don't have a defense, and the book is out on beating them- play physical and keep the ball out of Mahomes' hand. Can Andy Reid adjust? Will they be intentional about running, especially with a lead? Bills- Which Josh Allen is coming to play. As good as he has been at fixing some of his issues from last year- accuracy, short ball, etc - there are certain parts of his game, specifically the deep shots and the back breaking runs that cripple defenses, that just have not been there so far. Is that going to change? Is his arsenal going to come back? More importantly, is he going to learn from idiotic mistakes and play cleaner football? As for the team, are they going to be willing to run earlier in games to set a physical precedent (especially when Allen isn't looking great) - what does this offense look like with Singletary and Williams and Kroft incorporated in. Can the Defense continue the dominance? Can the offense be capable against good defenses? I think at this point the ranking is probably similar to how I have them listed, but this could all be completely different in two weeks. The Patriots and the Bills have cake walks of schedules which will help them- I don't know if I can find 4 more losses on the Bills schedule with how we've played so far, but the season is still young. Either way- I think this is probably the most open the AFC has been in a while.
  12. At first I thought this thread was a "would you want him next year as a backup" which I would probably be fine with... Now I see it's just idiotic drivel.
  13. Magnetic fibers in the ball and sensors at the goal line/attached to the sticks would at least eliminate that...
  14. Still hard to believe some wanted him over McKenzie based solely on the "he's looked good in camp" reports.
  15. The biggest problem with any challengeable penalties is that now what do you do about this bull####? Why can pass interference be challenged, but not hands to the face which just cost the Lions a game and has a seriously negative impact on their season. hire and train refs who don’t suck and you don’t have to challenge anything- or make everything challangable.
  16. I typically pull for the lions cause my grandparents were from Wisconsin and Favre was a favorite. That being said, I have never wanted a FG to miss so badly.
  17. They need to. Honestly, it’s gonna take owners and coaches speaking out and making noise before anything is done about this. Riveron needs to go, and RG probably needs to go for keeping him that long. Protecting the shield is ruining the shield.
  18. Didnt see the first, but it sounds like the two in conjunction definitely stole it from them. And to have two bad calls on the same player, who, as mentioned, hasn’t ever been called for that- seems very blatant.
  19. I doubt the Lions win without that call, but that was disgraceful. How have the refs gotten this much worse over the past 5 years? Absolute BS. As some of said, Booger is terrible- but seriously respect how pissed he was about that. You could hear the other guy trying to downplay it and fondle the shields Teet, but booger wasn’t gonna have it. Well done. “America needs to know.”
